Imagine the Verdane fellas coming at you while they snap their fingers at the rhythm of the music
they gotta be walking funky too, I'd be intimidated by it if one of them walks up to me like that... O_O
Well Somebody's been watching too much Wayside Story, but I will admit that would be funny to watch.
I'M NOT THE ONLY ONE SNAPPING MY FINGERS TO THAT
YESSSSSSS

Jaune Dragneel i think you mean west side story?
No one:
Verdane army:
They're groovin'
I could imagine this instead of being a bloody battle with weapons, it's a break-dancing battle,
Same lmao
Just starting playing Genealogy and like I'm so upset that the enemy army has better music than my army does 😂
the archers always seemed to bop their heads to the theme...tbh who could blame them
The axe fighters swing their axes to the beat too
TheBrawlUnit the axe fighters, while they don’t do the best job at it, shuffle to their enemies to get at least some dancing in.
@@TheBrawlUnit You show up too much
When you read the next question on your school exam.
THE BANDITS ! THE-THE BANDITS !
Awesome enemy army theme to begin the game with ! :]
Seo Vania
Definitely. Fits fighting the generic Axe Thugs really well and makes you feel like a badarse for surviving the foe's phases.

JAMKE IN HEROES BOYS
Got mine +10 this was epic!
why is this so groovy??? It's like if funkey kong wrote music for the middle ages
Oh my god, I never knew FE4 music was so good
Best ost out of all the Fire Emblems
@@finnrogers9616 By far. I think this is the largest OST that Yuka Tsujiyoko ever did, and she is the undisputed mistress of the Fire Emblem OSTs.
Been on since Gaiden and oh boy can you tell the difference
@@finnrogers9616 Uh, sure.
@@finnrogers9616 eh that’s stretching it, modern FE’s like engage, fates, and three houses have some damn good ost’s

I just started this game today and was so surprised when this song came on lol
Ayy same!
Same too, but I waited 2 months to go to the ost
Such an underrated FE4 theme.
This theme makes a new playthrough of Genealogy worth it every time.
I can't stop dancing to this. HELP!!
I lost Azel on the first map, because I forgot to seize the 1st castle. I had everyone positioned by the bridge ready for when it was inevitably raised. Sigurd took the castle and, unfortunately, a bunch of units could reach Azel and killed him quick
And that's why mages and jazz music don't mix
The games got easier once FE7 came out and I think you know why.
Unlike other countries in Jugdral, Verdane didn’t use women in battle prior to the story of Genealogy of the Holy War. My favorite Nintendo character Ayra was the only instance of Verdane using women in battle. Silesse and Isaach use the most women in battle.
Is that a good thing or a bad thing?
@@hydrusalphy4654 The idea of female combat is known to be highly disputed in the real world. The United States Army is apprehensive about female combat. Afghanistan might as well as use female combat against the Taliban. Female combat widespread in the Fire Emblem universe. Verdane is the only Jugdrali country that does not employ women in combat.
@@davidhill8565 Honestly that’s probably game limitations more than anything else. I’m sure there’s more female soldiers than the game presents, but it wouldn’t be as practical to show due to time and storage constraints on the console and cartridge. I think of all countries, Verdane would be one of the most open to women fighting if anything.
Women are just as capable as men in fights regardless, even with differences in overall physiology.
@@ramenbomberdeluxe4958 That may imply that female enemies take up more space on the ROM than male ones.
@@ramenbomberdeluxe4958 I remember one castle’s gimmick in silesse I think was that the leader used her elite all women army for it.
Having in consideration the size of the cartridges and the files, the music for SNES games had to be absolute fire because of having little space to work with.
Everybody gangsta till the bandits pull out the breakdance mat.

@@marshmallowcello7528 Now how is that an insult
So Verdane is culturally and lore wise my favorite kingdom in this game by sheer concept and aesthetic. It’s a desperate and lost land with people who just wanna get by and yet is plagued by savagery and warlords, some from desperation and others such as Gandalf out of malicious opportunism.
Couple the fact that Batou was a good man and his youngest son Jamke was awesome as well, and I see the kingdom not as a typical evil barbarian land, but as a lost soul in need of redemption. Does it justify the warmongering? No, but I think this kingdom got jipped regardless. Jamke and Brigid for life by the way.
so in other words another Thracia but without dracoknights

After Kaga revealed of what they are based on, I lost my respect for him somewhat, but that means that I want an Fanfic where Verdane are the good guys and Granvalle the bad guys and Loptyr the ugly ones.
What did he reveal?
@@ryan_uwu Verdane is inspired of Persia.
@@vortexoblivion85 That's cool if anything.
Why did that make you lose respect for him?
@@vortexoblivion85 How though? Wasnt Persia one of the wealthiest, and most advanced nation states in the ancient world prior to Rome's ascension? One that made the Greeks look nearly backwards in a few aspects? Or did the maker confuse Persia for how they were seen in the movie 300?
