Simon Dude...the underwater bomb defuse is the ONLY thing that's etched in my memory about this game. And only because I remember being so frustrated as a kid trying to pass that level. The first time out of many that I threw a controller across the room into the wall. Lol

I beat this game ONE time as a kid back in 1992. I remember getting it back on New Years Day 1991 and for I don't know how long being stuck on the Technodrome level because I always got lost.
Damn! I've been looking for YEARS to see if anyone else has beaten this game besides me. You sir, made this look WAY easier to beat than it actually is. I can always get to the Technodrome pretty easily, but only beaten that thing once. Once I got inside, I made a mad dash to Shredder, and like you, beat him with Leo while the other three were on the bench at full health. I'll probably never be able to pull that off again. And all this time I thought I was a prodigy or something, and you just made me feel like I didn't accomplish jack-squat! I don't know whether to praise you or hate you.... good show, truly.
I have to say that I hate the fuck you've beat this game in 30 mins. I have yet beat this game in 27 years.... Some things are not fair and this is one of them... lol

I never beat the water level. This was the most difficult game that Nintendo ever made. I still don't know how people can navigate through the electric seaweed to diffuse the bombs. At 10 years old I was probably the first person to ever rage quit a video game. I used to get so pissed off I would snap my controller in half.
I was a huge Ninja Turtles fan as a kid. The programmers did a number making this game so challenging which was WRONG esp that kids were playing this. I rented this game and barely got anywhere. TMNT 2 and 3 were so much better and fun esp with 2 player mode.
This game is still the shit.. Awesome playthrough! One of my favorites, it took me back. The sounds the moves. Fucking awesome... Took me years but i finished this..along with Xmen which was a crazy game.
I had/have a serious love/hate relationship with this game. It was so good in so many ways that games today are not, but I remember hating that enemies respawned while in the room/level and that there was no two player mode. I also felt that it was just a tad too repetitive sometimes. This is a game that begs for a remake with just some minor tweaking.

It's a cool throwback, although there is a lot more to see in this game. I wish you went inside every building and explored the maps a bit more.
