    I don't suffer from neuropathy after countless nights of terrible pain. Doctors were clueless as to what they should do. I had to take my own life into my own hands. I did some research and got rid of my depression first. Then, of course, I moved away from the environment that put me in depression in the first place, my workplace. I took supplements and changed my diet (I used to consume A LOT OF carbs, now I only rarely eat dark chocolate as my biggest carb source) and lifestyle. I've been a type 1 diabetic for 28 years and I was able to ERADICATE neuropathy. The only thing that remains is a little limping on the left foot/leg that only happens when I get into a walking stance from sitting. I think I haven't activated my vagus nerve properly (even though my research kept bringing me back to it and I did do some work on it). I will apply the techniques in this video. Thank you, doctors!

      Just FYI: Neuropathy is also numbness, I had a big toe that went completely dead to all feeling, I knew it would soon need to be amputated. but while researching I came across an unusual claim, which stated that taking 2 Tbsp of coconut oil per day would end neuropathy. With nothing to loose I gave it a try, I also made sure to increase heart rate & circulation with fast walking for a few min. a half hour after taking the oil during that time, and my big toe slowly came back to life with full feeling. I've stopped using all seed oils and only use coconut oil ever since !

      @@daleval2182 You brought up an interesting point: "FASTING," 25 years ago I got my hands on a Doctors set of Medical Encyclopedias, from the 1800's. Fasting was the number one first choice for every treatment, and people back then commonly fasted at least one day per week to stay healthy. even today in animal husbandry purge and fasting is the first treatment of choice for sick animals. I found all that to be amazing info, that relates to the difference between the thin population back then, and the fat population of today!

      @NerveDoctors  9 วันที่ผ่านมา

      That's not surprising in the least. Dr C & I have worked with just about 20,000 cases of peripheral neuropathy sufferers globally, but let's just focus on the U.S. for a minute. I can't tell you how many of our patients went back to their PCP's, Cardiologists and Neurologists to tell them about their recovery and show them how well they were walking. They would bring our business cards to their doctors, so they could contact us. Guess how many phone calls we received from any of these doctors. ZERO! Not one single phone call, which still astounds us to this day. The most comical story that Dr C has is when a patient came in to seek peripheral neuropathy treatment from him, and this patient asked Dr C not to tell his wife, who was a primary care physician and did not believe nerves could be healed. So, he was seeing Dr C for treatment without his wife's knowledge. Well , this gentleman made a full recovery and guess what? No phone call from his wife, the PCP. As doctors, we are supposed to be men and women of science. The premise of science and research is rooted in inquiry, skepticism, and the pursuit of knowledge. However, being open-minded is a crucial aspect of this process. It's how new discoveries are made. As doctors, it's imperative to have an open mind which allows us to adapt our old ways of thinking to embrace new theories and challenge existing theories. If, as doctors, we cease to be receptive to new research or we refuse to take the time to even look at the research, then how can we truly serve and help our patients' best interest?.

    • @NerveDoctors
      @NerveDoctors  9 วันที่ผ่านมา

      B6 is a critical nutrient but it's imperative to take the correct form. You should not take Pyridoxine HCL as this can lead to more nerve damage, when taken in high doses or for prolonged periods of time. YOu should take Pyridoxal 5 Phosphate (P5P). Research has shown that this can be taken in extremely high doses without any nerve damage. Here's a link to a video we did on this topic: th-cam.com/video/KIM_J93ycvA/w-d-xo.html

      If you’re modulating pain without using a drug, and doing it with the help of promoting vagal tone, then it promotes healing.

      Hi Sharon. I'm sure this comment is out of context making it difficult for me to decipher. So, let me shed some light. It's not that nerves don't like cold or heat for that matter. If the sensory nerves have been damaged they can be hypersensitive to cold or heat or any other sensory stimuli for that matter. The cold therapy elicits a strong physiological response of the nervous system which facilitates many healing pathways.

    Any info on weening off lyrica? was on 600mg, 200mg 3x a day, dropped down to 400mg, 200mg 2x a day for 2 weeks, now I started taking one 200mg a day, second day. Is this OK? Im thinking of doing this for 6 more days then stopping or should I get a lower dose and ie 100mg, then 50mg etc?

      Do it slowly jimmy. I took 300mg, cut off 75mg every week and stopped at 75mg. I had like 10 days intense acute withdrawal, however, i have been facing post acute withdrawal syndrome since and this now lasts for 14 months. Head tension, muscle and joint pain, GI issues, tinnitus, sleep disruptions, low mood, anxiety and depression sometimes. I was a healthy individual before touching Lyrica (they gave it to me for a brief anxiety period of my life and I only took it for 6 months). But everybody is different, you might be completely fine tapering so quickly. Just wanted to give you this information.

      A vagus nerve reset is very helpful for migraines as well. There's quite a bit of research on it.

      Hmmmm?! I just got this off of Google:
      Android
      Go to your device's Settings app, then Apps & notifications, then Notifications. Scroll down and tap TH-cam, then make sure Notifications is turned on. You can also try tapping and holding the TH-cam icon until the App info menu appears, then enable All TH-cam notifications.
      Computer
      Select your profile picture, then Settings, then the Notifications tab. Use the sliders to choose which notifications you want to receive. You can also go to www.youtube.com, sign in to your account, then click Settings, then Notifications. Next to "Your preferences," you can choose whether you want to receive notifications about channel activity and comments.

    Dr what about Alzheimer's,does it have anything to do with ones nervous system.Is Alzheimer's reversable.?

    • @NerveDoctors
      @NerveDoctors  9 วันที่ผ่านมา

      This is an excellent question. You'll see in many of our videos we mention Alzheimer's more and more because it's so prevalent. Alzheimer's affects your central nervous system (brain). Research is now showing there are many things you can do to help slow the progression and even reverse Alzheimer's to a degree. Look at the work of Dr. Mary Newport with coconut oil for Alzheimer's. Also, much has been studied on photobiomodulation and Alzheimer's and I do have to say that DIET is a critical component.

      I totally understand. We demonstrate each exercise at the 7:00 minute mark of the video. We will re-release this video for people short on time with just the exercises. That's a great idea. Thanks.

      @NerveDoctors  9 วันที่ผ่านมา

      Hi there old mate and thanks for buffering the language. We always include most, if not all of the research associated with any information we share with you. We do this so you can see for yourself that it's not 'bull excrement' (lol), it's actually been studied. Just take a look in the description box and you'll find the research links. Blessings.
