I've decided to order your products as a way to repay all you do... thank you.

    • @Drumroll418
      @Drumroll418 7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

Dried berries can be a bit high in sugar because they lack the water content in fresh berries. Also, you usually end up eating more of the dried berries because you miss all that water content which fills you up more quickly.

    Doc Eric,
    Another GREAT video.
You mentioned Manganese in the Pumpkin Seeds.
On our Organic Farm, we also grow pumpkins, but we also grow Pili Nuts. They are loaded with Manganese and many other fantastic nutrients.
Of course we also have lots of Coconuts for making Organic Coconut Oil - as well as the Organic Coconut Water and Organic Coconut Vinegar.
    You mentioned Chocolate.
We Grow our own Organic Cacao! OMG, it tastes so much better than anything you can buy commercially because we harvest the cacao when it's at the peak of ripeness. We process it naturally and consume it as a treat, or in hot water. Much better than coffee in my personal opinion!
    Continued Successes!

Do you think Pumpkin seed oil supplements are better or worse than raw pumpkin seeds? I take both. I eat about 2 oz. of raw seeds every day and I take about 4000 mg of pumpkin seed oil throughout my day. Good? or Bad? I really like your videos. Very well done and informative. I appreciate them very much. Thank you.

I do not know the answer but I would guess the whole food (the seed) would be better than oil on its own. My rational being that eating a fruit is much healthier than having juice, even if it is just pure fruit juice, because the juice is lacking in the fibre that the whole fruit has. I would guess the oil is good but perhaps incomplete. I just started growing my own heirloom hull-less pumpkins and the seeds are delicious so I found an easy way to add them to my diet without having to worry about all the shells.

@@musicman9901intersting. So the seeds have no hull when you harvest them from the raw pumpkin! That makes things much easier 😁. Can you tell me where you get them and the type?
      Thanks! Terry

@@ForestToFarm Yes, exactly, the seeds come out of the pumpkin green because there is no hull. I got mine from Baker Creek/Rare Seeds in the US. I bought the heirloom variety "Kakai" though they also have another type called "lady Godiva" that I believe is also hull-less (you can find them in the "winter squash" category since pumpkin and winter squash are pretty much interchangeable). I love growing heirlooms because its so interesting to find the differences in flavor and growing characteristics such as these pumpkins without the hull, plus its fun playing a important part in preserving old or rare genetic lines. My partner tells me the Kakai fruit itself tastes very good baked too, so between that and the ease of using the seeds its pretty much a permanent member of my garden every year. Hope this helps!

Thanks for the vid! As a male, should I be limiting my intake of phytoestrogen? It's the reason I stay away from soy and flax. Thanks!

I am surprised that he does not mention that the ratio of omega 6 to omega 3 is 12 to 1... in a society where omega 6 is TOO present, we must constantly think about compensating for the missing omega 3 .

    Dr Berg,
you’ve mentioned in previous videos that HGH is high when insulin is low. You’ve also mentioned that fat does not illicit an insulin response. So if I’m fasting, and then I consume only fat, will my HGH levels stay elevated since I did not create an insulin response? Or does the HGH only stay elevated while completely fasted? Thank you.
