      Seth, I noted on the categories - specially groceries 8% and dining 6%. Can I check if transaction mode matters i.e. must it be contactless at the physical stores, or online also can get the 6-8%?

      No requirement to be either online or contactless. As long as MCC matches

    I'm quite confused regarding the credit card minimum spend requirements. I've read different things on the subject so it's not very clear. Does the minimum spend required to be within specific categories or is it including all the expenses that are done with the credit cards? I read the citi bank cashback card document and I didn't really find it clear, not sure if the 800$ minimum spend have to fall under food, groceries and petrol categories.
    Thanks for the help!

      For Citi Cash Back, the minimum spend just needs to be on things that are not excluded in the terms and conditions.
      However, since the 6%/8% cashback is given on things like dining, groceries and petrol, you should try to meet your minimum spend there. It is still okay to use your card outside those categories to meet the minimum spend.

    Interesting video. Can you also review Amex platinum and share some tips/uses on the card?

    hi bro. thanks for explaining but i dont understand when you said 'any supermarket that sell vouchers'. what if i spend $500 on groceries $200 on others things including paying singtel bills etc etc?

    • @Sethisfy
      @Sethisfy  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      You will get 8% cashback on your groceries spend but only 0.25% cashback on the Singtel bills. It's best to use this card only for groceries and put your Singtel bills elsewhere

    • @Sethisfy
      @Sethisfy  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes. You can buy $800 worth of vouchers in a month then spend the vouchers over a few months

    At the end what do you mean by top up card?

      NTUC FairPrice gift card can be topped up like an EZ-Link card. So you can just top up $10 and each time the expiry resets.
