I saw this video a week ago and then went for an interview. Followed your tips, demanded the salary I thought I deserve (highest ofcourse) and got the job. THANK YOU for boosting my confidence.
I was scheduled for multiple interviews last month and was able to crack couple of them. Your videos helped me negotiate the compensation during the interview. This is what I have used, and until now it has given me the best offer. " I don't have any such numbers in my mind right now. However, I believe with the experience and domain knowledge I have, you will offer me the best possible offer according to the market."
@@komalgupta1162 Then go for the research method. If the offer is not as per your expectations then use the below line. " Thank you so much for the offer. I do appreciate all the efforts that have been put here. However, during my research, I have realized that the market value for the years of experience and domain knowledge I have we can have another look at the offer and a better number can be proposed. I propose that we take another look at the salary you offered me and the designation in order for you to take into account my designation, experience, skills and education. I look forward to developing a long-term relationship with the organization, and I am expecting a better designation and salary that is in harmony with my credentials and sufficient to meet my personal needs. Let us get together and reconsider your offer. I am confident that we can reach a figure that is satisfactory to both of us."
i've taken a different approach to this and have always given the prospective employer a reasonable salary range if asked during an interview (after doing my own research about the local job market). I think for as long as your skills and experience match the role and your salary expectations are reasonable, you're bound to get the job. Love your channel by the way and I like your speaking skills - so engaging.

Thank you once again for your knowledge sharing 😇
If I had known earlier. I am fresher and I am applying for TA role in HR. And this helps me a lot. Thanks for such insightful video. Really appreciate it. And keep it up Ma'am.👍👍👍
Two questions rather observations regarding the salary expectations question: Many organisations have online application and current salary and expected salary are mandatory fields - one cannot submit application without answering these questions. So sometimes there is no way to get around this question. Also, if one does start the interview process without giving salary expectations and in the end company cannot meet even your current salary because they don't have budget, it does waste both parties time.
My recommendation: fill the form with a zero or write negotiable. And let them know what you make today, so they have an idea if it’s within their range. Do what feels right
I enjoyed you bubbly personality, knowledge and honest insight. It is a challenge to answer the salty question now that you are not specking with someone when applying on-line. It is frustrating not knowing what number to input for the salary block to not be illuminated from consideration by an algorithm.

Welcome to the channel Kapil! Glad it’s helpful.
SHALARY sounds a fantastic approach as like MAN(Minimum Acceptable Number). I still have a query on , when the recruiter brings up "what's your current package?" in the very first (get to know) round. Can you please advice someone to answer that? Thanks for sharing your experience with us. :)
Good question. Why don’t you catch me live this Friday and ask me, I can answer you in real time.
Glad you going the approach useful, thank you for sharing!
@@SuperChargeYourself Sure will do it. Could you please let me know time and other details for Friday's live. I will definitely attend it.
Due to pandemic ,salary negotiation is not possible face-to-face meeting so please guide me how to negotiate a salary over telephonic conversation.🙏🙏🙏
Hi Archana
Who’s says it’s not possible to negotiate during a pandemic?
I have hundreds of messages and DM’s from people who did!
My tips apply over phone, in person and video as well. Just adapt as required. Good luck!
@@SuperChargeYourselfappreciate your suggestion 😊 thanks for reply 🙏

The recruiter call any time within office hours & they ask what is your expectation, and I don't know their budget so how to tackle the situation ?

You’re very welcome Mary ♥️
Excellent method of SHALARY approach.
Thank you 😊
Mam let me put one point , if you hire someone at less than market standard , it would be almost impossible to retain him or her for a very long time. Him or her would start looking for a change. Please offer good salary as per company standard, by doing so HR is helping organisation a lot.
Thanks for your comment. Did you watch the video? This is exactly what I say here.
