Hopefully this one works. Applied 6 months ago with their old site (looks like something a child would create) and was not denied, but also was never approved. After many attempts to resolve the issue I eventually went to Thailand and had a nice holiday. I'm not sure Vietnam wants foreigners in there country anymore.

I plan to travel to Vietnam at the beginning of the sixth month of this year I followed the steps in the video and obtained the visa but I have some doubts because there are several sites and I entered one of them to obtain the visa . My question is how can I be sure that the visa is real and not from fake site ? Especially since there is no Vietnam embassy in my country . Thank you again
Hi, sorry for my late response. You can check your visa status by pasting the registration code into this link: evisa.xuatnhapcanh.gov.vn/tra-cuu-thi-thuc and then you can download the evisa letter
I’m traveling with my 12 year son to Vietnam. Do I need to apply a separate visa for him? When I proceeded to pay with the visa, somehow it consistently failed. I went back to the site and kept trying to pay but no success. The error message wants me to reapply. I saw people from other channels experiencing the same issue and warned not to keep on clicking the payment. What’s your recommendation?
Hi @gchow6009, If your child has their own passport, please apply separately. If your child has the same passport as you, please apply together. You should use visa/master card to pay. In case of payment error, let's apply again. Hope it works for you and have a nice day!
For the photo, you mention it must be 4 X 6. This cannot be inches. Are these in cemtimeters?

Hi there, about your question, entering Vietnam will require visa (in this case, e-visa) for foreigners that are not Vietnamese citizens. You can double check whether your nationality is exempt from playing for a visa, too. And you must have a visa before going to/arriving in Vietnam. Hope this helps!

Hi. I have my child travel with me. I know in the form, there's a section for children under 14 years old. After I put in my kid's name/gender/date of birth, 2 photos...do I need another separate form for my child? my child is 11 and has their own passport. Or the information included in the form for myself is sufficient. When I pay, I should pay $50, instead of $25? Thank you.
Hi @hanhbui9329, Thank you for your question. If your child has a separate passport, please apply for their eVisa as you would for an adult. Only fill out the section for children under 14 years old if their information is attached to your passport.

Do i just take a photo of a passport photergraph
Hi paulwilson2968, before applying Evisa, prepare in advance:
- Passport photo. File .jpg (Only a photo of the first side of the passport is required. Try to take neat pictures to clearly see the information, especially the two ICAO code lines below.)
- 4×6 portrait photo. File .jpg. Photo with white background, no glasses, formal attire

I applied e-visa here in China to Vietnam it’s been about 2 weeks and I’ve still not gotten a reply after I was told to amend my address twice which I did. Firstly I used a hotel I had booked address. They then wrote to me saying I should amend it so I asked for a friend’s address and used that. They then wrote to me asking I amend the address again. Even the 3rd time I decided not to amend but use the same address as in the 2nd . It’s past 1 week and each time I check for my visa status, they’ve written “in process”. I’m very confused 😢
Hello, sorry for our late response. If you receive the request for amending from Vietnam Immigration Department, the processing time will be the same as for a new submission, starting from the date you update your new information

Hi @nik1997os, You should apply for your eVisa one month before departure because sometimes there are issues with the evisa system, which can cause your evisa result to be released later than usual.

Hi @yammomatta I don't think so because we usually apply e-visas for USA students, and the US passport has 9 digits. Could you please check your passport number again?
