Tip for crossing street in Vietnam:
Many tourist foreigners scared of traffic in VN . Don’t worry about it! The rule to win this fear is keep routin slowly walking when you across the streams of motobike! motor-bykers knows how to avoid you themself in chaos-order! remmember do not run and stop suddently , accident immidiatly ! Don’t be affraid off and do it if you want to be safety in the crazy- traffic in Vietnam.

Have been to Hanoi twice. Hanoi, Vietnam in general, is the most fascinating place I/we have been. I absolutely love its vibe-and the food options are the best in the world.

Old quater is a nice place to stay it's close to everywhere. You can get on the hop-on tourist bus to expore whole city in 2 hours. If you have time buy the tour to Tamcoc to explore the nice river and montain on the sailing boat.
Honoi city which hotel cheap and good .I will visit in October . suggestion how many days stay in Vietnam
You can find many cheap option around the lake in Hanoi old quater.
The ideal length of your Vietnam trip depends on your interests and time available. Here's a suggestion:
7-10 days: A good balance for exploring Hanoi and its surroundings, including Halong Bay.
12-14 days: Allows for a more relaxed pace, including additional destinations like Sapa or Hoi An.
2 weeks or more: You can explore multiple regions and have a deeper experience of Vietnam's diverse culture.

Hi Kim. I am not familar with many hotels as we stayed in an airbnb which was about a fifteen minute drive from the Old Quarter and Westlake.

Ohh sorry. I don't have that information to share. We stayed in an Airbnb and only budget hotels during our stay. ;-)

Nó rất cao với 7-33 tầng (số phòng) tầng 34 là một bầu trời và bình chọn, nhưng các phòng bị hỏng có nội thất cực kỳ tốt và giường tốt, tôi khuyên bạn nên sống ở đây, đó là ý kiến của tôi nếu bạn muốn kể cho tôi nghe về điều gì đó .

I can't help with that as I don't have any first hand experieence with hotels. We stayed in an Airbnb and it wasn't big enough for a family.

Even though we have already paid for the flight to Thailand, we will keep our travel plan as it is. Hotel has already been booked and confirmed. Fortunately, we only pay to the hotel upon arrival. It's still early now as we are only flying off in May. I hope we can still visit Thailand 'freely' by then. It's crazy, isn't it? 🧐🧐🧐🤪🤪🤪
That rule has been reversed and no stupid jabs to required as of today in Thailand

Yes. I think the service runs until about 10pm.

Hi, great video btw 🙂 I will be travelling here with my other half and was wondering should we book hotel before we fly out OR when we get there and how many days/nights would you recommend before flying on to the next destination (Da Nang)?
Hi Nigel, it's usually a good idea to book in advance just in case immigration asks about your plans. I would say a minimum stay of 3 days is appropriate, and if you want to visit (one day tour) Halong Bay or Tam coc , you can add 1 or 2 more days for Hanoi. Have fun.
Can anyone recommed a respectable, decent, and affordable condo in Hanoi? What area would you recommend?
The area called "Truc bach"(key word) is cheaper than the others, it's decent and affordable. You can find a lot modern place. This is the tip, stay a few nights in the hotel in old quarter then walk to this area you'll find many places.

Does Vietnam have a VoA or how is the best way to get a visa?
If you come from the countries that eligible for free visa you don't have to apply for the visa. There is no visa on arrival in Vietnam airport, if you're required to apply a visa you have to apply online.
