Very useful.. Please explain how to add motor and load parameters in ETAP library, thanks!

One Problem for Dynamic, we shall input Moment of inertia WR2 ( kg m2). How to calculate Moment Inertia WR2 (kg-m2) in ETAP? Is there any standard to calculate WR2?. I found in IEC 60034-12, Table 4. External Moment of Inertia J ( kg m2) for each kW of motor. Is it same WR2 and J?
    J in IEC 60034-12. Mentioned as J=0.04P^0.9xp^2.5

      Yes, these are same.
Moment of Inertia is WR2 or mr2 i.e. mass x distance sq.
Moment of Inertia (Jm) value will be provided by motor manufacturer..Jext value i.e. motor external is recommended in IEC..
Based on WR2 value and motor rotation speed, ETAP will calculate the value of H

Some do Dynamic motor starting study in Transient stability module? Why not in Motor starting module?

To check the system stability during any sudden change like switching on the large motor starting, generator etc. we need it..
However, dynamic motor starting is performed to check the voltage status and adequacy to start the largest motor in the power system..

ETAP Dynamic Motor Starting Analysis, For motor used to drive pump with Low Voltage, 225 kW rated.. What Model shall be used ?
LV-LS-LT (Low Voltage-Low Slip-Low Torque), then Model ID, can we use MV500HP2P? What meaning MV here?

You can choose according to the project specific requirements..MV (Medium Voltage)..in reality, it may be required to add motor model i.e. design class, ID etc. in ETAP library depending on voltage level, slip, torque, no. of pole...
Separate video available how to add motor dynamic model in ETAP library

One Question again, why Dynamic and Static analysis in ETAP, kW motor always higher than motor name plate that we have set/entry in the motor data in ETAP?
