    In case of MV/MV Transformers if there are no MV motors/loads, can we use Delta/Delta Transformers . any disadvantages / advantages?

    thanks man but! isn't Solid grounding less common in LV systems?? due to the high fault currents it produces, which can lead to equipment damage, arc flash hazards, isn't, resistance grounding or ungrounded systems are often used to limit fault current, enhance safety ??

      Yes, you are right as far as the high earth fault current and arc flash is concerned..
      However, considering the fact that earth fault detection is very challenging for NGR or limited earth fault value and ungrounded network at LV level, it is recommended to go for the solidly earth system at LV..
      At present, majority of the industrial and commercial installation are following the LV solidly earth system..
