Hi, I have installed MV Motor 6.6kV 950kW to attached with centrifugal fan with direct coupling. The Fan shaft design need 950kW to make it operate. I've tried to start the motor couple with fan by using MV Soft Starter but the fan failed to accelerate to rated speed & soft starter keep trip excess start time & sometime overload. Need some advise here.. Thank you...
Motor with Load is Crusher, what type Motor Load ID, as there is Pump, FAN, Recipro, Compressor, Aw, Ak, K1+K2*w**2, But no choice for Crusher. Can you explain?
Thank you for your interest in ETAP Solutions. ETAP recommends all users contact the motor manufacturer (Crusher) to obtain the Speed Vs Torque Load Curves and enter this curve into the Motor Load “Curve”. Go to Library, open the Motor Library and make your adjustments. The use of the sample “Typical” Loads found under the Polynomial Quick Pick of the motor should only be used for preliminary analysis, since these curves could be very different from the actual manufacturer provided curves. For more information please contact our 24/7 Help Center at helpcenter.etap.com.
Greetings! I try Motor accelaration for soft starter but the acceleration report for motor itself did not come out. it only show me the blank space Do you know how to solve this problem?

did your motor start at all? check the critical event report.
Is under voltage in critical report prevent to motor start as reality?
Is there a way we can implement a soft starter in ETAP?
Can ETAP do motor reacccelation time?
