Why there is no Id, Ibias, Slope setting in ETAP?? As you know that 87 T has setting such as Id, Ibias, Slope 1, Slope 2, Id > 2 Harmonic Block, Id>5 Harmonic Block.
In ETAP, differential trip is considered in Arc Flash evaluation study and Star PD Sequence of Operation analysis. It detects only the difference between both sides positive sequence current flow and trips the breaker. There is no provision to assign bias current, slopes etc. It only needs the operation time, say 10-30 ms which is user defined and should come from relay manufacturers to check Arc Flash and PD Sequence of Operation in ETAP.
