Very cool. Those are the white faced ones. I don’t know if they have to have white faces, but I think generally they do. I see them a lot driving around in my area.

@@dexterranch We're moving from KC to OH. Bought a small place there that has E-fence on the pasture and doing as much learning as I can in preparation to start a small herd of Dexters.

How well do you think dexter will be at mixing with bigger cattle like angus or even wagyu cattle
I have heard of it being done successfully, and hear the meat is better than just pure angus. Obviously the bull Dexter would be bred to the angus cow. I have thought about doing it here. Probably will try down the road as I get my pastures established better.
Josh they do very well and in our case the Dexters were still the boss cows even though they were smaller. Dexter Angus cross is some wonderful meat and we have had ours in with Belted Galloway and Jersey as well. No issues what so ever they blended together very well.

You definitely can find cheap Dexters, but generally there is a reason they are so cheap. People get lucky from time to time I’m sure.
