I had Morton's neuroma two years ago. I resolved it by changing to wide toe shoes (all my shoes must be comfortable and wide), rolling the bottoms of my feet with a tennis ball every night for 5-10 minutes, increasing my daily steps/walking to minimum 5 miles/day, and most importantly doing my best to reduce my stress levels overall.
How long did it take to remove?
Can you please guide me
Wide fitting shoes definitely worked to help toes spread out when walking.
I am suffering last 5 months. Can anyone suggest me the proper treatment? I have tried customized insole. It doesn't help. Some exercise help me for short time. Could you please suggest me how can I relief from the pain of my feet. I am already wearing wide shoe.
Thank you for this great explanation. It's always wonderful shedding light onto such ignored topics.
Thanks for leaving a comment!
I had this for years and my GP insisted it was gout and treated me like that. Eventually a new doc sent me to an orthopedic doc. Gave me an injection to "kill" the nerve and I walked out pain free!
PLEASE can u say what that shot was called I’m in the US and I want this pain to go away it’s driving me nuts
@@marshallmade sorry, I don't know what that shot was, but he injected it between my toes to hit that nerve. He did both feet - had to have it redone on one foot. Good luck with it. You'll be happy with the results.
@@rayss3323 seriously thanks for replying and maybe when I’m allowed back to the uk I’ll do it on the NHS 🤬(jk)
I am recovering from Morton’s neuroma now. I can only pray it works because the pain can be debilitating and excruciating.
I’m 29 I’ve had it since I was 21-22 I’m athletic so I never make a big fuss, but it is a very annoying discomfort.
great information on this subject was very informative as i had spine surgery three yrs ago and have these symptoms since and i did nothing about them as i thought they would go away but havent i will visit my gp as i havent told him any of these symptoms
I always have this ball like feeling at the exact position and it hurts when I applied deep pressure. I always wondered why it is so. Now I know the medical term. It's been years since I have this problem. I am relieved finally knowing what it is.
thanks.
thank you so much - would you consider producing a pharmacology/ prescribing resource. Just a suggestion haha!!!
What are the EXPECTED/KNOWN side effects of removing with surgery this neuroma…? Thank you!
I've got this ,had it for a few yrs now and just found out a year ago I had it. Hurts like hell and all they gave me was Lyrica for the pain.
Hi, please could you consider T.B. for a video?
We have many patients with various disease sites. London still has a T.B. problem, especially among the homeless and migrant populations. This disease is as old as humans and is still a global threat to life and health.
I had a neroma out of left foot 2ed space years back. now i have 2 more on right foot 2ed and 3ed space 😮 has steroid injection and had a big flare foot brused and really hard to walk on 😢
No info in this video
I dont know if I have this but nothing seems to solve it. Its depressing as hell.
That's painful, i got it between 2nd and 3rd and between 3rd and 4th metatarsals.
Use Toe Separater (Finger Spacer) for this problem. This is a best solution in the space of Surgery.
Thanks
How about manual therapy?
@eddasilva6679 Manual self therapy yes. I personally lay on side (bad foot side down) and use other foot heel to squeeze it out like it’s a “tube of toothpaste” or something to effect of a rolling pin that’s rolling some dough (gentle long deep strokes). I get several Mulder signs (pops?) possibly different and repeated locations. Originally thought it was some type of bursitis. Pulling big toe may help also..
Super painful
