I did it with a scissor jack , it was grim. Pro tip, once the nuts crack your face will naturally be under the thermostat bell housing, i swallowed coolant

Correct, it over heated a couple of times and i wanted to eliminate all possibility of a repeat

You dont seem to have Air conditioning in your car?
All the hardware is present but it does not work. Have considered binning it all and putting in a shorter drive belt to save some weight
