    When it comes time to service the air filter all that you have to do is remove and replace the fender; brilliant. And you can only drive when it’s not raining - the cone filter will become soaked in no time.

      Ha , not everyone does so thank you. It is a lot of effort for questionable benefit - i do very low mileage so filter will not need frequent replacement

    thats a good idea so you dont get all that hot air from the engine bay, but that flexible tube is terrible for airflow. On mine i made an enclosure and the filter sits right against the firewall with a very short conection to the throttle body. That enclosure is then conected to custom stainless pipe that goes to the sidevent.

    Dude soo much work for the same result..you all ready had the ram air effect due to the stock ducting..I would just build some kind of shielding at the back of the filter at the location you had it..although testing new things is part of evolution..so keep testing 👍

  • @thomasharris5151
    @thomasharris5151 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    I’ll be worried about getting it super wet and hydro locking the engine… IF there’s a ton of water coming through the side vent .. but that can be remedied with a deflector added behind/inside the vent to divert the air/water around the filter but still allow air to enter the area..! AND get rid of the accordion style pipe it’s bad for flow
