So excited you’re doing the Calabrian region… my family is from Catanzaro and I’m trying to trace my lineage to get a 2nd passport. Thank you for posting these beautiful videos! 💝
Oh my....❤I love Italy used to live there, the last 5 years every time for 2 months. Battipalia is the most South I have been. Unfortunately, I have no Italian ancestors but Hungarians/Bavarians. This little city is gorgeous, and I hope to be there sometimes. Thank you for showing it.
I suppose it's like most things, whatever you're looking for (the culture, proximity to restaurants, nightlife, stores, facilities) to suit your lifestyle, is what most likely will be best for you.
The Seafood Looked Beyond Delicious! I absolutely Loved house # 2 (would have already bought it) if i were in Italy...# 3 I also Loved...that terrace. Great Properties. Thank you for sharing ❤
Hi. Did you film this in the first week of October? We stayed in Pizzo then. My wife said one evening she saw you. We even sat at the very same table you had the ice cream. Although we had a beer. I just wish my wife said something, as we would have said hello. Great videos. You've inspired us to book a holiday in Puglia, we are staying in a Trulli.
I was actually there twice, the first time was just to enjoy Pizzo… then a week later to film :-). I’m glad you enjoy! When you see me next time in Puglia stop me and we’ll share a beer!
Hi, thank you for this video. Pizzo is beautiful. I would love to see some houses ( not too big, around 100-150 sqm) that are a short walk or bike ride from a picturesque village but with a small garden and terrace, with views of countryside/sea. Preferably within 20-30 mins of the sea and a larger town. Under 150 000 Euros. I know, I know, but it is after all the dream 😁
Glad to see listings in Calabria. All three had their own charm. How much you can afford to renovate is the question. I like anything with an ocean view! Who wouldn't want to live in Pizzo, the city of ice cream ; )
OMG the beautiful food, SEAFOOD!! Gelato! 🎉😂❤ that looks like heaven on earth! I liked the third house the best although I also loved the first! The second is a great little investment as well. I could live in any one of the three! Calabrian beaches look way better than the French Riviera which is terribly rocky “sand”.
Your videos make the dream of Italy a little bit closer to a reality! And they’re so full of charm and good food, making the prospect that much more tempting.
Thank you for the My Heritage kink. I signed up today but sadly found no help there locating Italian ancestors. What a dream come true that would be 😂😂. Grazie da Texas come sempre non vedo l’ora di abitare in bella italia. È un vero sogno❤
There all beautiful home's!But the 1st one is amazing and what an interesting neighbor.I love his garage and that gorgeous convertible ❤ wow!Thank you for making this very enjoyable video.
Grazie! it's a lovely seaside town by all appearances. I liked the first house best, did not care at all for #2, could see potential in the 3rd. I am again surprised at prices, especially when there are needed repairs---I guess I've looked mostly in Abruzzo where clearly one gets more bang for the buck. One thing I don't understand---on this and many other channels---is how fully functional spaces, especially bathrooms, are always said to be in need of updating/renovating, apparently just because they don't look contemporary. Sometimes, in fact, the 50s, 60s, and 70s bathrooms are really nice! I really appreciate when the floors throughout a property are shown clearly, thanks for doing this in most rooms.
I can't believe you ate all that delicious food and then managed to fit in the gelato 😅 Loved the last one as you had vehicle access right to the door. After tracking for 6 weeks in Italy last year lugging a 35 kg suitcase, I'm only going to do it in my own vehicle next time 😅😊❤
Marco! Another great video thanks! Actually think #1 has great value for the price. #3 love the garden but no view of the sea. Seems like the inside of the buildings in Calabria are much more square vs Puglia. I love the star vaulted ceilings of Puglia. Even tho I am Calabrese. 😂. Look forward to the next.
First house wonderful but the last one beat them all hands down !! I imagine the kitchen downstairs giving onto the garden and turning the upstairs kitchen into living space, maybe keep one bedroom downstairs. Thank you
Stunning views, gorgeous town! I loved the look of the second Apt but didn’t see a living room, even after going back… all homes have terrific character and qualities!
@@amorepsyche808That’s why it’s beautiful. Southern Italy was once reasonably rich, populous and successful and then its economy so stagnant with a great population exodus that modern politicians and developers haven’t had the finances to wreck the architectural beauty built during the Golden Age.
@@amorepsyche808there isn’t enough incentive for people making a living…. Especially the younger generation, those little towns away from a water source is always hard to maintain
Grazie! I just adore all your videos. The underrated part of your video is the restaurants that you find in the specific city you're visiting. Some of them look so good that I would want to go there just to eat at the restaurant. 28 countries but Italy is one that I haven't been to yet, for a reason. Your videos are convincing me to overcome my reservation to consider to a visit...
Pizzo is amazing. Its hard to argue with house 3 because of the outdoor space but also liked 3 bed 3 bath if house 2. My grandparents are from Reggio de Calabria but i never see any videos from there. Also love your appetite. Manga
It would be great if you said how much each of those tantalizing dishes cost. I'm sure I'm not the only one curious how much such an amazing lunch is...
Thank you for the tours. Pizzo is only 34 min and 47 min from my maternal grandparents home towns. They are inland. I like the 2nd home bc it's finished.
I love this show!! So genuine and very beautiful scenery and you have great knowledge of the history. Please include the names you visit some where so we can make notes. Thank you
House numero 2. Is my favorite! During the whole time that I watched this video I said Wow Unbelievable I cant get over it. I have an Italian dream and this video made me feel that if I dont get to Italy I will burst! Pizzo! Im blown away by and it doesnt feel like other places Ive seen in Italy.
Thanks for yet another good video. Third place I like most as a place to live but the others are good for B&B. I enjoyed this video on a Saturday afternoon with a cup of tea. I would like to see a small farm in Puglia or affordable houses within a few kilometers but not right by the sea (thus cheaper because of location) i.e. say 80-170k houses which do not need a lot of work.
So beautiful and viable for someone around 30 but too challenging for those closer to 70. Too many hills, too many stairs and extremely car unfriendly.
You ever think about doing real estate? You present these so beautifully & for many people.. at least Americans the Italian dream move is a regular conversation.
Ive been to Pizzo! Almost bought a small villa in Zambrone overlooking the sea with an incredible views of the sea and beach. Tropea is awesome and south of Tropea beautiful beaches too. We loved eating dinner on the piazza in Pizzo and watching the sunset then eating Tartufo!
Love these videos. Thank you for creating such great content. For me house number 3 takes it with all that great outdoor space and being close to the cathedral ❤
I just found your channel. I've been following Super Savvy Travelers and Prego Italia with their emphasis on Scalea. This is an excellent video and I vote for house #2 with the Amalfi vibe.
I love the second house. It's so full of light and color. I just wish it wasn't on floor 2 and 3. Kind of hard for everyone to do all those steps. If only I could find one that has so much light and color on floors one and two that would be great.
Great videos and useful information on real estate. It would be nice if there was some information, prices especially, about the obviously very upmarket, and often not typically everyday regional, food you show.
I'm really enjoying your channel, thank you for sharing. I'm always wondering what the internet coverage is like in some of the areas you review, as i work remotely, can you add any information on you might have on this please. Thanks again!
Beautiful Thank you for the tour I’m planning to move to Italy in the future, and calabria is in my list to be checked I like the most the second house, but planning to spend a little bit less 👍

the first house is truly a dream. the view is straight out of a postcard
Beautiful, very affordable. Calabria as a whole is so nice.
Very creative editing. Well done!
I like house 3 best because it doesn’t have too many stairs and the garden is lovely.
House 2 with the amazing sea 🌊 views. Simply stunning.
Agreed 😂
I love the first house. Love that your in Calabria, my family is from there. ❤😊
Mine too. My great grandfather emigrated from Belvedere Maritime, Calábria to Brazil with 18 years and alone! Never came back to his motherland.
Gorgeous - we are coming for a scouting visit end of September - October

I agree. I love this area.
Loved all three homes! A great video. I was already drawn to Pizzo . . . but now am sure I want to go there. Thank you!
Yes, more Calabria!
Especially in towns like this with these prices. We need more info for sure.
If I could like this video twice I would!!
Veramente magnifico. Adesso ho voglia di traslocare li :D

Third house has the most gorgeous sunny light,,nicely curated,,looks so beautiful 😊
I like that you show plan and where you are
I have to say that your production is one of the better on TH-cam. You should move somewhat north in Italy as well.
Sono d’accordo. These videos are great productions and yes I loved the hot pepper on the plans. ❤

House #3, because of the garden and the separate apartments. I appreciate when you show the floor plan.

the third house was for sure the one I would buy. I would love to relocate to Italy. it's a dream.
Keep it up! Great work!

The first one was definitely my favorite, followed by #2. What a beautiful town!
The second one has my heart 😅 I would learn Italian to live in the beautiful place…magnificent!
