Chick-fil-A but they require their Owmer Operators to essentially be a General manager lol. You’re required to work there. Other than that, I’d be interested in Dunkin!

LOL!! Australia here. Just went and watched it. So funny!! Loved when he got the free coffee and holds up his mobile phone and the screen is just about ready to fall apart its so cracked!! Hehe
They could sell much more if they made more donuts more often! Up in New Jersey they used to make more every 4 hours! Down here in Florida they only make so many and expect you to just buy what they have left after their few baked a day! I never get any of my favorite Bavarian cream donuts at any of the 3 DD here in Pensacola! Their loss, and mine!
Robert Greenhouse totally agree... same problem here in central Florida as well. 3-4 to choose from at any given time, usually something like vanilla frosted, chocolate frosted, strawberry frosted, and maybe 1 of those with sprinkles. That’s it! Boston cream, various jelly or cream filled, French cruller, blue berry, glazed chocolate, double chocolate, coconut, chocolate coconut, cinnamon, powdered sugar, maple frosted, you name it... I don’t remember the last time I’ve seen any of these and there are hundreds of stores around here
Most Dunkin’s don’t make their donuts on site alot of them (including mine until June 10th) order from a factory and get them delivered in the early morning so if they run out they can’t make them or like mine at the moment will only have the baker between 5 and 11am so when she leaves we can’t just make more we just run out plus it has to do with sales at the end of the night throwing away a lot of donuts is wasteful and legally we can’t give them away (in my state) your best bet is figure out if they’re factory donuts or in-house and find out what store does in house donuts
peterpanpooh that sounds kinda dumb what time are going and are u going inside or thru the drive because just because they only show four doesn’t mean they only have four you could always ask if they have more to choose from or your Dunkin may just not get the donut sales to justify having all those flavours I lived in north Florida for many years and never had any issues with limited donut selections till after 3pm when it is expected for them to have less due to other customers buying them and the Dunkin not having anyone to make more
Lucas black all times of day, going inside. I’m not part of the “online generation”, I like to see something before I spend my money on it. 20-25 years ago, I used to go to Dunkin all times of the day... breakfast, after dinner, as well as various locations around the country when road tripping with my dad (frequently hours like 2-3am because they were the only thing open). Always had 20-30ft of racks filled with every variety of doubt you could imagine anytime of day. Now you go to dunkin and they have 4-8ft worth of racks, half the racks are empty, the other half are 50% empty and contain 3-4 types of doughnuts , 2-3 types of muffins, and 3-4 varieties of bagels. Even if you added all these up you wouldn’t have a third of the doughnuts they used to have. It was also very common that they had windows where you could see the employees actually making the doughnuts by hand (kind of like you still see a Krispy Kreme, except by hand instead of by machine). Lastly, this is not something new or in a limited location. I continue to road trip, sometimes for work, sometimes pleasure. From up north in Ohio, to the west near L.A., to where I currently live in central Florida. They’re never open 24hrs anymore, usually something more like 6am-9pm. Last summer, I went to something like 30 locations around Orlando before I found a French cruller... I remember when they would always have them on the shelf and occasionally you also could find them chocolate dipped, or dipped with sprinkles or nuts added, or all 4 varieties at the same time. Most do t even have 4 varieties of donuts period. They have become a joke, and when they announced they were dropping “donuts” from their name to reflect branding... nothing could have been more appropriate!
I just called them and they said that they will be removing that flavor from that store just for you. My dad owns Dunkin donuts so they listen to me bigly
$60 an hour? No. That would be for an 8 hour a day, 40 hours a week schedule. More like $30 an hour. You can make a decent buck, but it's a lot of hours.
ursafan40 math is not your thing, is it? $620,000/365= $1699 per day $1699/24=$70 per hour Of course most are not open 24/7/365 so that number can easily grow. Although... they didn’t really clarify if it was gross or net profit, but still.
@Josh Fair enough, I'll admit that my degree isn't in Business... but common since isn't your thing is it? We all know there is over head. We also know that purchasing a franchise isn't cheap. You make it sound like Corporate takes 90% every year and keeps it for themselves. You also make it sound like a Franchise owner does all the work serving customers, keeping the books, inventory, orders etc. That's the job of the general manager. If they can't afford a general manager, accountant, etc., the franchise owner is doing something wrong, and frankly, should probably be in a different line of work. $30 an hour? If I was doing all that work and only making twice what the 16yo part timer working for me was earning... well...
@Josh obviously you missed the part where I said "over head". All business has additional expenses. Hell, the 16yo has to pay for gas to get to work. and you definitely missed the take away from my last comment. If you are a franchise owner and have invested all that money into a franchise, rent, insurance, paying your employees, etc., work soOo0 many hours, and yet, you are only making a little more than your employees, someone should be questioning your life choices.
ursafan40 I don’t care if you employ 1 kid or 100 adults, if you have invested a million dollars and they are making nearing as money as you and no risk of losing any, that seems ignorant. Tbh... I’m bored, I’ve said my opinion. You win, I just don’t even care. Congratulations boss!
I mean franchises are also regular people who wanted a donut store just like the local mom and pop store. Dunno what is the problem to shop wherever you feel like, the best thing about global brands is the consistency.
Think how much more $$$ they could make if they had more than 3-4 doughnut choices on the shelf at any given time? No wonder they dropped “Donuts” from the name!
Idk what Dunkin you’re at but we have like 10 kinds at ours and if the baker is feeling nice she’ll make special made donuts for customers who like the ones we don’t technically sell
CEO thinks conservatives r controversial. How out of touch can you be. Nice way to make 1/2 your customers pissed off. It seems like you're the contraverse now. If you can't say something nice, pay the price
Honestly DD is disgusting, the coffee is disgusting and the donuts taste like chemicals, I'm from the NYC area and I can't wait for the Krispy Kreme to open up in Time square. When I travel around the Krispy Kreme States for areas I always buy three dozen boxes.
@@SheGoneAgain you honestly don't know a thing about coffee, my father comes from a country where they cut the coffee with burnt corn when they can't offered a full bag of coffee, and the taste is the exact same thing. Just low quality tasting coffee.

They bake their donuts that's why
I bet with Charli’s fame it’s gone up
It’s a shame they don’t bake doughnuts fresh anymore at the stores. The doughnuts are no monger tasty and as fresh as they used to be. 😞
It's the same way at Tim Horton's, they used to have actual bakers, but now it's frozen everything!
They do in AZ in store
Donut Connection > Krispy Kreme > Dunkin'
🤔Sooo, how much do Frachise owners make again?🤷🏾♂️ I just need the cliff notes.
