      Could one modify that rail so it would be the same size as the 5.7x28? You can tell they added probably 1/8th inch or less to the very end of the rail to mess it up.😂

    I bought one yesterday. I like the Key Tec but I have had neumerous issues with it and it has gone back to Kel Tec 4 times already for various issues. I am also excited about being to put an optic on this gun. I also have a Walther WMP but from what I have seen, this is going to be a much better gun. I have not got to shoot it yet but from the reviews that I have seen, it looks to be much more tolerant with ammo variety than the Key Tec or the Walther.

      @@GlennCJudah I have two and both are great. The thing I like about KelTec is that u don't have to send ur gun back to replace parts. I had one of my PMR that wouldn't eject. I replaced the right extractor ( 5 minutes) and now it runs fine. Honing the barrel makes a huge difference also. U don't need upgrades to make the PMR reliable. I have seen videos of the Smith failing to chamber rounds also. Hone the chamber, and problem solved.

    Could you modify that rail so it would be the same as the 5.7x28? It looks like they purposely made it 1/8th inch longer for the reason of having to buy another holster... 😂

  • @GunInsights
    @GunInsights ปีที่แล้ว

    I really want to know if a threaded barrel is possible since this barrel moved forward and backwards. But if I could get a threaded barrel and, like, 85gr subsonics, that would be magical. :)

    • @PewLand
      @PewLand ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Why not just get a .22lr if you want to shoot subsonics?

    • @GunInsights
      @GunInsights ปีที่แล้ว

      I’ve found 22wmr seems more reliable than 22LR (though I almost never have any issues bc I only shoot CCI 22LR),
      But I just like the idea of a heavier 80-90gr bullet doing 1050fps more than a 42gr bullet doing it. But I just want to be able to suppress anything in 22 or 5.7 primarily because I have tinnitus that drives me nuts.

    • @PewLand
      @PewLand ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@GunInsights I got ya, is it even possible to load an 80 grain .22wmr? If so I've never seen it loaded that heavy only 50 grain

    • @GunInsights
      @GunInsights ปีที่แล้ว

      Yeah, I’m sure 45-55gr would probably be the max to stabilize I’m the round in a pistol length barrel made for faster rounds.
      But I’ve found a few guns that cycle the 60gr Aguila SS rounds in 22LR, so I was hoping we could get 50% heavier rounds in 22wmr with a shorter case and a long bullet to work. :)

    If you wait 3 years the price will be 450$ instead of 600$....hahaha..who the hell can wait that long...this is a hot item..
    One of the major issues with 22wmr /22mag is its not the most reliable or accurate ammo. So it's hars for me to justify a 1000$ pistol or revolver just for 22.mag..
    It's like spending money on a race car but you only put gas it in from 7-11 kwiki-stop...hahaha see my point...
    I had a pmr-30 and it ran fantastic but left a lot to be desired in the accuracy department...
    When the pmr-30 came out, people were happy to buy one that function..talkn bout accuracy was pointless...
    The SW MP 22mag is priced a bit high in my opinion..we all know it's a 400$ gun..but due to Corporate Earnings we get to pay 600-700$ for the same damn pistol...ill stop..
    Loved your review..its always fun to hang out with the guys and talk guns..or fishing gear...

    Oh..I just had a thought..it would be fun to own all 3..the trifecta haha
    The SW MP 22mag series
    Walther 22mag
    And the kel-tec pmr-30
