Great video, including the ammo reviews. Complete, no BS vids, awesome, thanks! I just picked up this pistol and love it. First couple mags had some failures, but I disassembled, cleaned, and lubed (per the owners manual) and its run flawlessly with multiple ammo's. My only complaint is my slide fits somewhat loose on the rear rails, I can actually move it side to side by .020", which in-turn, the front (barrel) moves about the same amount. The gun groups fine, it's just a little annoying, if I shake the gun I can hear the slide rattling around on the rails. I may make a video showing this. How does your slide fit?
Mine is a little loose also but I'm used to it with rimfire pistols my TX22 competition is the same way. I really appreciate you stopping by and leaving a comment and I hope you are having a great weekend

Well you convinced me. This firearm is my next purchase. I can live with an occasional hiccup with the 22 mag ammo. Looks like a fun awesome gun. Thanks for all the detail and work with your videos.

Chris have you shot the 5.7 to compare with the 22 mag? Wonder if it is more reliable? I know ammo is much more but now wandering if I need to look at the 5.57 vs the magnum?
Flashy!!! I’ll be honest…I haven’t shot .22 mag in probably 20+ years and I’ve never owned anything in that caliber. But this thing is pretty dang cool. I can see why they came out with this….roughly the same size as the 5.7 which is an absolute hoot to shoot! Only drawback is the ammo cost, but it’s been coming down. I need to grab a red dot for my M&P 5.7 eventually. Awesome review brother! Hope you’re having a great week!
I really contemplated getting the 5.7 but I just couldn't justify the ammo cost and it's a pain in the ass to reload so this was my best option. I am also a big fan of 22tcm but it's finicky. This is actually a really fun gun in a fun caliber. If people keep an open mind and just realize this is a range plinker and nothing else they will really enjoy this gun.
I think you answered your own question. Both pretty much the same gun, but the 22 Mag is about 1/2 the cost to run. For "Killing paper" the 22 Mag will be just fine.
My very first mag I ran was terrible I bet I have 500 rounds though the gun and even got 4 new mags last range trip I had 5 failures in 1 mag. I’ve only had a hand full of mags run flawlessly. I love the gun too
Spend a little less time complaining and learn how to load your mags correctly

The Norma is $21 a box right now on their website but I can get it at one store for under $20 sometimes.
Looks solid dude…loading those mags are a hassle but 22 way cheaper to shoot…
22 Magnum is not really cheap costs more than 9mm and I can't reload it
Where are you getting the Winchester ammo? Our LGS only carries CCi ant it does not like it! (Also from the 740)
