Thank you so much for releasing this interview, it means a lot to some of us. Dr. Weir was my teenage years role model. I know 4 languages now thanks to her (she knew 6!), I've always been a humanist thanks to her, I've always been aware how strong I am as a woman thanks to her! I literally cried so much when she was written out of the show (now I laugh at that as an adult but it was traumatic as a teen). This is not just a fandom, this is a heartfelt connection. I appreciate so much that Stargate as a fictional universe portrayed strong women like Elizabeth, Teyla and Sam. I and a nice amount of people still wishes Atlantis to continue with Weir and Beckett. It was an amazing experience to explore a city of fascinating architecture and technology with this team. I wish a happy and healthy life to Dial the Gate team, Ms. Higginson and all Stargate and Weir fans out there.
Elizabeth Weir was my favorite character from SGA. The show was on while I was in high school so she was such an inspiration to me, so comforting to see someone like her -a diplomat- leading this extraordinary human endeavour. And Torri played her so beautifully. I adore how candid and honest she was in this. She needs to be back for the revival 😉🤞Glad it got to see the light of day. 💙💙💙
Elizabeth Weir was (is) my fav character on SGA and the show wasn't the same without her! Torri is amazing and she was the right person to play Elizabeth, she brought the character to life so thank you Torri! And the interview was amazing, thank you!
Weir and Torri will always be my favorite on Atlantis ❤ also, what do you mean the Replicator jacket was brown?? I used a black jacket for my RepliWeir cosplay 💀
so nice to watch interviews or the house tour video cuz in person. Much better than over viddeocall, looks way more profesional and is more enjoyable to watch
I'm a huge fan of Elizabeth Weir! It was a hard moment for me when she died! I was always hopeful that she would have a return even tho she had a few episodes where she makes a short comeback! She never really had a full comeback to my regret!
Weir and McKay, were the machine that drove SGA. Weir needed answers. McKay had the answers, but to a fault. McKay saw Shepard as a Macho Chadguy who charged ahead. McKay knew his physical limitations, compared to Shepard. Shepard was always in subtle awe of Ronin, and his ablilities. Ronin was a Raging Hulk. Who learned to control his Rage. . Somtimes.
I seem to recall an interview recently-ish (I'm old, may have been a year ago or more) with both Rachel and Torri. Am I mistaken? They seemed like very good continual friends. With a lot of gardening tips.
Please tell me you will publish all the unreleased SGCommand material now. It's shameful that they just didn't release all that stuff at all despite the promise to do so on TH-cam (or, I guess, MGM wouldn't let the SGC team).
best series ever and truth, Weir was great....eye openers for many peoples, i watched all SG 1 and Atlantis series like 4 times with the same passion like i watched for the first time......a master pieces because everything in this series its based on truth....all happened and happening and will happen in the future, it is the cycle of univers.
@joestitz239 Problem is not money for Amozon. Twitch is negative for decade and Amozon still supports it. I assume Amazon don't want to fuck it up, as they did with LOTR series. This season looks promising, hope trailer don't show best parts, and rest are garbage.
I started watching Stargate SG1 and Atlantis during the lockdown and she's one of those characters that inspires you to hold on and keep going kinda thing. dunno how to explain it but, when Weir left, the show went solid downfall.
I'm glad they replaced Weir as head of the Atlantis Expedition. I loved the character, don't get me wrong. But She made some very questionable decisions, such as green-lighting the Michael project and authorizing the torture of a member of the expedition, whose only crime was being an arrogant asshole... And actually being right in his assessment of her leadership. She was good at Earth Diplomacy, but was really out of her element with interstellar diplomacy, especially where diplomacy really just doesn't work because the opposition has no interest in sitting down at the table. She may have commanded the SGC for a short time, but during that time, she had accountability to the President. As leader of the Atlantis Expedition, she was in fact, as she put it, essentially the governor of a colony, and she had full autonomy in practice. And like I said, she made some really bad decisions that caused a lot of problems. Carter taking over, placing Atlantis under military control made sense, as there was a lot of conflict between Atlantis and multiple factions. And then, with the IOA taking a controlling role in the Stargate Program, Woolsy came on the scene. He tried to do everything by the book, like he did on Earth, but he quickly learned that the book was badly written, and he had to be flexible. All in all, I liked Weir the best and I hated the way she went out. But all three characters who sat in that office fit the role well.
Sorry, but TPTB did Elizabeth Weir, the character, and Ms. Higginson the Actress so wrong! She had the potential to bring an amazing dimension to the SG Franchise and they butchered it! I love Atlantis, I love the cast, but removing Weir was a travesty. They could have done so much with a partnership between Weir and Sheppard highlighting the dichotomy of two very different sets of perspective, molding into something fresh and new. But they really chickened out. So, irritating.
Tori is amazing, I loved every episode with Elizabeth
yup she reminded me of sigourney weaver
I really liked Torri as Weir. I always felt like Atlantis as a show suffered without her.

She’s still beautiful and this was a great interview!
This interview looks great and she's really engaging in this environment. Very cool.

They killed her off as soon as I grew to like her. She was the best SGA leader, with Woolsey coming second.
I really enjoyed Tori as Weir. I was sad when she wasn't on the show anymore. I cried. I look forward to watching ! ❤😊
Every time when I watch an Atlantis episode without Dr.Weir - I always picture her character being there anyways
What an amazing interview. 5⭐️
Now I’m going to binge all of Atlantis now on blu ray.
👍👍👍👍👍
Jeez she looks great. Almost 20 years later and she looks like she hardly aged.
Never cared for Tori H in the series initially, but she grew on me and after this interview, I have a new perspective. Great interview.
Such a great interview! I enjoy hearing from the stars of the shows.
Weir and Torri will always be my favorite on Atlantis ❤ also, what do you mean the Replicator jacket was brown?? I used a black jacket for my RepliWeir cosplay 💀
I have been a big fan of hers since the TekWar days

Her character was tough as nails, fair, compassionate, beautiful, and never backed down!
I'm a huge fan of Elizabeth Weir! It was a hard moment for me when she died! I was always hopeful that she would have a return even tho she had a few episodes where she makes a short comeback! She never really had a full comeback to my regret!
Great episode! 🔥
GREAT!!!!!!!!!
Thank you for uploading this.

Yes, there was interview with them both. I believe last year.
Still gorgeous at 50. Seems like a wonderful person.
I'm a fan of stargate

We will have to see!

Tori is amazing! I've had few chances to get to know her a little, and I think removing her was a mistake! Weir was amazing!
How to fund, do a season 6 ? :)

한국에서 잘 보고 있습니다. :)
when do we get SGU 3 ?
Fine Wine just talking here.
Personally I always start with the film.
I remember being incredibly sad when Tori left the show. More so when I heard the circumstances. It can be a vicious and unfair business.

What movies and tv shows has torri higginson appeared in?
I bet IMDb has those answers.
Which answers?
The movies and TV shows she has appeared in.
Should have asked her why she didn't come back as the Ghost in the machine character. They ended up replacing her with another actress FRAN
We answered that. Have another watch.
MIrin your weight loss bro. Lookin good.
Bro this was 6 years ago…I think we all wished we looked like 6 years ago lol!

I totally agree.
