@@larrygill2223 The biggest problem was that Claudia Black is a very good actress and dubbing artist, and such a character was totally below her level. However, her character was the slightest problem in the 9th and 10th series.
@@michalrama true. Very true. You are correct about 9/10 season. I feel it dropped off the moment RDA left the series. Also, SGA was far superior IMO. I love how they made real threats to people on other planets. Weir made a threat on the prison island episode…. Shepard made a threat to those kids even. Whereas SG1 was more playful bantering. Solid episodes but no one really said we will kill you or along those lines. SGA was funny, yet serious. Loved it. Anyways.. that’s my opinion.
Sharon was the first autograph I got at my first Stargate convention. I got her to sign my Stargate Atlantis boxset, and my A Town called Eureka season 2 dvd case in which she made two appearances in. I almost won her signed chair in an auction at the end of the convention. She was really nice and kind, put me at ease and talked to me for a minute or two before a queue formed behind me.
You’re a cracking host David, your presentation is just such a joy to watch! It’s awesome watching these actors/actresses talk in recent months considering the show is years and years old, never thought they’d still be here on TH-cam talking about our beloved Atlantis!
As a Québécois, I can confirm the Risutto family story. Even up until a few years ago there were still murders linked to them. It's a very intriguing story to read about.
I don't recall the episode but in one of the Star Trek Making of books I read that a Director once told George Takei: "Push that button" in the middle of some scene where Sulu was maneuvering the Ship, and Mr. Takei refused stating that were he to do that it would destroy the Enterprise, so consistency and authority in button pushing matters in Science Fiction.
Yea, that's the episode titled 'Sunday' Season 3 Episode 17. It's the last episode with the original Dr. Beckett which is the highlight of the show at the end. That's where Shepard is taking his day off by playing golf by hitting them off the pier.
Interesting to hear more about her! Also Zelenka with his football "I thought you said we'd play football not that american rugby nonsense but whatever" haha.
I love the show, and the guests that you get on, and the stories they tell. However, and I’m sorry to say this man, but please stop interrupting your guests while they’re talking. You may think what they said is correct, but they and we don’t need to know that you think what they said is correct. Especially when they’re describing how they felt at the time or something like that. Trying to recast what they say into other words and stuff; when they have something to say just let them say it, you might actually hear more interesting things that way by just letting them go on. It derails their train of thought to be interrupted all the time, especially when it’s done by Skype or whatever and the interruption comes to them later.
Sharon hasn't aged a bit! She is awesome!
The fact that there isn’t one single actor who has been in SGA or SG1 that didn’t love the show is a testament on how incredible it was
Except that SGA maintained its quality until the bitter end. SG1 has been going downhill since the sixth series.
I disagree.
@@michalrama let’s be honest. Vala’s character was super super annoying and I secretly wished she blew up. Because of her, the series suffered.

Sharon is super-nice. She does autographs through the mail as well, got mine via jemi.app/sharontaylor

It's a pity Sharon's character wasn't used more she was so cool, smart, powerful, and gorgeous. Please use Sharon in any future Stargate projects.
Great interview, Sharon is such a lovely person and stunningly beautiful of course! Love the banter

Such an interesting person. Great interview!
Love Sharon!! Spent some time with her in Chicago!

Love love love the backstories!!
I do seem to remember a golf scene with Shepard maybe hitting balls off into the water.

@@johnpaulfarleyjr3988 Thank you for the information. My memory isn't what it used to be.

I really hope the fans have nothing to do with the development of the next stargate . Don't ruin this show for me please.
I also hope wokeness etc also has nothing to do with the new show. But it is Amazon so I’m not holding my breath
I’m trying to figure out what sort of fan would feel that way and all I can figure is you are under 30, love GOT and SGU but not SG1/A.
