At 31 years old, I can honestly say that I know the feeling. It's even worse when you turn into that monster and they try to make you apologize for what you have become, but never for what they made you.
How about as a recently turned 40yo, you learn what love truly is. First one must understand what sacrifice is, learn what forgiveness is, and learn why that sacrifice was made should one accept that man deserves death in a lake of fire for their trespasses against the almighty, loving just, merciful, righteous and kind God. He sent His only son, without sin, to die the most brutal and tortuous, painful arguous death imaginable on a wooden cross. Once one can grasp that kind of love that Jesus had for the world, one can come to possibly understand what real love is. Love covers a multitude of sins.
What sucks is that he’s right. We never forget even if we can forgive. It hurts in our most private moments. Because time doesn’t “heal all pain” it just blurs the memories and dulls the agony
This film was released in March 2007, it's over fifteen years later. But things have gotten worse considerably. Ken is too idealistic, and his philosophy and methodology might have worked in the 20th-century and maybe even in the 2000s if you were fortunate, but when the 2010s started, the game just took a nosedive for men. Sal seems to be the kind of guy who is the lone survivor that was right all along with the way things are going now. The game is clearly rigged, and men must take measures to protect themselves and put their interests first (unless children are involved). Now so many guys don't even become "players or womanizers"; they never get involved with women because they never even get the chance, or men just walk away. As a man in the English-speaking Western World, it can be too risky to be romantically involved with a woman, and it's simply not worth it in many regards. - divorce/marriage failure - infidelity - STDs/STIs - paternity fraud/misattributed paternity - false allegations/accusations - domestic abuse - weaponizing children against the father - financial instability/ruin - jeopardized mental health - trust issues - family court I'm not saying we should give up entirely, but we have to be aware of the glaring issues and risks, and we must take proper precautions if we are to attempt an endeavor like this.
You can say time blurs and dulls but that’s a lie and you know it you 1000% of the time remember exactly what hurt you when and where it’s so hard wired into you even if you got amnesia you’d look at your ex and that’s all you would remember
@@MF_DOOMer Yes, suicide is one of them. But too many people really don't care because men are the ones suffering. Men are viewed as being disposable assets.
The slight quiver to his voice, where it shakes like Mathew Lillard himself is holding back tears, is what really sells it. This hits so deep and so hard, and it is so painfully true.
I’m 40 now had 6/7 different relationships after my first girlfriend, even as nice as some Of them were I knew right from the start in my subconscious it wasn’t gonna last which I know sounds awful, but none of them even come close to this one girl..... I know I’ll never feel like that again and I’m also realist knowing that being 40 I’m not gonna get with some 21 year old 9/10, but I’ll never settle for less so I guess I’m kinda fucked both ways, it is what it is at the end of the day... I’ve got close family and some great friends that’s enough for me. I think to many people out there in marriage or relationships are 50/60% in there minds in love for me that’s never enough.... and I think the other person always deserves more!
Even if you don't talk to them anymore atleast you know you aren't inadvertently hurting them by trying to love them. Been single almost 10 years. No woman seems worth it after the first great one. This too shall pass
"So, you're saying you're afraid." "Absolutely. I ain't never gettin my heart broken again, like I did when I was 16." Amen to that. Edit: Stay strong out there, folks!
@@beefchief2320 its called reality m8 theres no mindset for simply stating the truth other then accepting who you are and what happen in the past is why you are who you are today
@@beefchief2320 I don't know about it being a terrifying thing to believe. It's not terrifying to me. Frankly, it's quite peaceful. Humanity has fallen so far in its morality that I want nothing to do with it, as far as a relationship goes. That 16 heartbreak was due to a lack of morals on her part, and thanks to her, it opened my eyes to just how lacking humanity is. Since I know that humanity lacks morals, and since I know I do not like pain that cannot be avoided, the logical solution is to stay out of relationships. By pain that cannot be avoided, I mean the pain one experiences from a heartbreak. It cannot be avoided. It sticks with you for quite sometime. I do not like that kind of pain, therefore, it is to be avoided. Plus, there are other aspects of relationships I am not a fan of, but I digress. Nonetheless, I find peace in knowing that I won't be subjected to that mental torment that is heartbreak, or the games and hoops the come with relationships.

Completely true. 110% hit home. 13 yr relationship thrown away. Got cheated on and everything taken from me. When I asked why, her answer was "I don't know." Seriously, that was my answer. On another note, Matthew Lillard is an amazing actor. Love the emotion he brings in all his roles.
@@shtembyduelsson I'm doing fine. It was super tough the first year. Most days are easier some are tough though. Just got to find something worth fighting for and hold on to it. For me it's my son.
Damn dude. I applaud your ability to even still be here pushing forward. I’m 24 and have only been with one girl and it was for 3 years which seemed like long for me. I’m the one that ended it and then I regretted it everyday since for the past year or so. She is now married and is having a kid with the guy that would occasionally pop up on her snapchat. So the mixture of confusion, regret, and being directly hurt by her unwillingness to come back is tough to deal with since I THOUGHT I had felt real love but in her words she “never really loved” me. Some days I’ve been unconfident that I’ll be here tomorrow, some days are easier, but I just hope I can eventually be past it for good.
@@LightsTeamEuphoria thanks I appreciate that. It's not easy. Quite possibly the hardest challenge I ever experienced. Here's the thing though, men and woman are different no doubt. Don't deny the fact that you loved her cause at one point you did. It's so much easier for women to move on cause most of them believe they didn't do anything wrong. They won't admit that they see us as objects as well, just play things for their amusement. My ex was the only woman I had ever been with. I was ready to give my life for her. She didn't reciprocate that. Just know, YOU ARE STRONG. Don't go through the pain alone. If it weren't for my family and close friends, I'd be dead.
It's life and it is weird, but the best excuse I could come up with is that she taught you a lesson that people just come in our lives to teach us. We are merely on a journey we call life, it's either suppose to be pure happiness till death or we are here to experience every damn thing under the sun. The key could be that " don't ever let people corrupt you or change you and to keep the childlike version of yourself within you." Life could well be a test, how on the creators green earth would we know what's what.
It takes one big broken shattered mess of a once beautiful heart to change you into something you don’t recognize only to make sure to remind you of the pain that you never want to feel again.
They say a broken heart eventually heals. In my experience they don't. You just wake up one day (and this could be after weeks, months, years) and the pain just becomes bearable. That's it.
@kevinlyons345 it's only been over a year since she left. But yeah I recovered but that shit still hurts. And I'll never give it up for another woman. AnfFuck marriages. Its just a stupid piece of paper
I ain't even gonna make a joke. It almost hit me in the feels when he shouted, "No! God, no! You NEVER get over it!" You really never do. Been 5 years now and this almost brought me back to when my heart went from warm and red, to black and icy.
Same here my friend. I'm in a wonderful and much better relationship now, but 6 years ago I was in absolute turmoil for giving my heart to the first girl I ever loved. And then got back all shattered. Took me years to recover, but still not over it fully. I'm forever changed by that now.
So accurate. It's the old "nice guys finish last". In today's generation, all the "nice guys" are chewed up, spit out and broken during high school/college. Then once the girls mature and don't want a f**kboy anymore and look for husband material, there isn't any left because those once upon a time nice guys were broken and changed who they were and more often than not, can't be unbroken.
Those types of women turn “Nice guys” into players because they turned them into that the reason why women have a love/hate relationship with “ Bad boys” is because bad boys can’t be locked down and refuse to go through pain and break up
@@TheMan-je5xq well yeah sort of, if it’s one girl but again no one wants a woman who has given lots of sex to random dudes, i personally don’t want to be with a woman who’s banged lots of dudes before.
Tbh, I almost cried watching this scene. If you don't understand, you never will. That pain when you get your heart ripped out your chest, is the worst pain ever. You make a vow to never go through that ever again. Call us ugly all you want but remember, we was once beautiful. It took a wolf in sheep's clothing to do that to us, and that's why most of us are like the way we are.
Just like that old classic song from the spinners: It take a fool to learn, that love don't love nobody. I only wish I heard this song when I was young.
In a way he's right. I was at a bar one time and I can't remember how the conversation started but these two women asked me why am I so single and I told them the reasons why because I don't want to get my heart broken I've been rejected so many times I've been abused by women quite a few number of times. And they said not all women are bad And I respond do you say the exact same thing when a guy hurts a woman whether it's something major or something minor do you say the exact same thing. And there was no response from either of them. See I get it men need women and women need men and I get the fact that both sides have their problems but it always seems like women will get a number of second chances and one man does something that he shouldn't do and all men are to blame. In the worst part is that women would rather deal with scum bag men then go out with decent men because it's easy. So here's my message to women you want to take the easy road you want to be with a guy who has no job no income works off the books talks down to you like you are a second class citizen you be my guest but just remember you are the ones who are responsible for your unhappiness
"I ain't never getting my heart broken like I did when I was 16" its like we're all kinda trapped in the moment our heart got ripped out for the first time. It's been 2 years for me and life has been going 10x the speed ever since. I'd like it to slow down. Just to breathe again.

"There's no such thing as a painless lesson, they just don't exist. Sacrifices are necessary; you can't gain anything without losing something first. Although, if you can endure that pain and walk away from it, you'll find that you now have a heart strong enough to overcome any obstacle. Yeah, a heart made Fullmetal."
It's even worse when you're not dating her, but you're being used by her mentally and emotionally. They will fill your head with promises, validation, and fake love. Been roped along with several years as she collected suitors. Took a lot of putting things together and if I didn't have someone to show me that I'd still be trying to be with her. Got twice the pain and none of the love. But, it was my fault, I should've been more aware. Never again.
Listen to me and listen well. Thats manipulation. I don't care what anyone says or whatever condescending fucking shit she told you. That is not your fault.
It’s crazy how guys tend to accept it as their fault and never let it happen again but women just point everything towards us and learn nothing from their mistakes
My favorite line in any movie ever is Matthew's line in Thirteen Ghosts referring to the ghost's in the basement. A girl says "in THIS basement" he replies "yes in THIS BASEMENT!! what is it with you people??! I mean if there was a next door, then I wouldn't GIVE A SHIT!!"
Barney actually explains it and he's the best example of this character. He got cheated on by his gold digger GF when they were hippies by a suit who was a douche. He was the realest character on that show. Everyone else was a fraud. He's just hyper and like a lil boy. He's suuuuppper expressive
Sometimes when people are treated badly they go on to treat others badly. This happens with both men & women. The biggest difference is that no one cares when a man is broken, yet people are quick to condemn him when he does wrong.
Jesus, Im now married at 35 years old and I can tell you how extremely true this is. You never really recover. You just change in to something that can take that kind of pain and still function.
So many people sit there and say “it’s just a bad excuse” and I’m like dumbfounded by how you can just disregard peoples feelings, this works with girls and guys, it’s the pain that makes people hate. It’s easy to say get over it when you haven’t had to go through it, and I truly mean go through something like this, I’m not talking about brad that you dated a week ago and broke up with you and you cried for 3 days, I’m not talking about Jessica who was a bitchy Highschool cheerleader, I’m talking about someone you truly love, that you did everything for, and thought you’d be with forever, and then it turns out that they had been playing you for years, you don’t just “get over” it, that’s not how that works. Not only that, but if you can understand how depression works, then you understand they can’t help it, no one is saying it right to do it, but you can’t sit there and say there’s no reason, cause there is, no one wants to keep going through that pain, some are more sensitive then others. If your the person trying to blame the victims instead of blaming the idea of it happening, then your on the same level as people who talk crap on the people who end up killing themselves cause they have had enough, and you sicken me, your making no real change, your not trying to help, your just trying to deflect and disregard so that you don’t have to face the facts of what’s happening
I don't know what brought me to this video or why but very well said. Anyone who could read this and not at least get SOME kind of idea of how horrible things can be has to be a psychopath.
@WhiteTowerGuard scars never disappear, we just have to move on unfortunately. Us men get emotionally damaged at a young age and we're taught to mask our emotions, be stoic or don't give a fuck, but trust me when I say that emotional pain is the absolute best way a man can be destroyed. Emotion leads to Mental which then leads to Physical.

26 right now been a few months since I was out of a 4 year relationship and trying to start over is terrible. I don't want this to negatively change me but it's getting hard.
This is gospel truth. I made this observation almost 30 years ago. EVERY guy I knew who was a player or cheater had been absolutely destroyed by a woman. The guy who was, without question, the biggest player we grew up with... He had been extra kind, loving and loyal until he walked in on the girl that he lost his virginity to getting plowed by one of his best friends. It's been over 30 years and his reign of terror is still on-going.
I experienced heart break before, the worst feeling i have ever felt in my life , a part of me died that day , and she did it effortlessly and without a second thought and all of a sudden, and after we promised to keep our feelings for each other forever... And since then , a monster was born , one that eats them hearts for breakfast .
It's sad as fuck man. I watched this happened to my best friend. The girl he loved for 8 years destroyed him so bad he almost became suicidal and thank God it never went there. He's now doing better , but he's become the guy that Matt Lillard is talking about; Messing with multiple women, a differnt girl each night , or a different girl during each time of the day. One time he was with a girl that she was head over heels for him and he destroyed her.
We literally cannot forget our first loves. Shit is insane. I still think about her sometimes, even though she and I are on two very different paths in life.
It’s been like 2 years and she is still in my fucking head!!! Drives me insane. She has been my only love because I am not attractive and women want nothing to do with a broken man like me. My head is sick with contamination OCD and that instantly made my first girlfriend leave me. I’ve got demons inside me. Nobody gives a fuck to listen!!!! I just see myself in the future living alone. No kids. No wife. Nothing. I am about to turn 23 and This generation I am a part of gives me no hope in finding anyone to actually give a shit about me. I can look around and see friends of mine falling in love but I get a fucking curse to never seek that happiness from a woman.

I got my heart ripped out multiple times by a girl at 17 got used finally got to be with her after months of being stuck in the friendzone only for her to lie to me and cheat on me. She left me to pick up what was left, and I changed. I changed so much that I didn't recognize the face in the mirror. My reactions, interactions, and personality changed.
All it takes is shit woman to turn a good man into a shit excuse of his former self but we're never truly that far from that man we where there's a few girls at my work that make me remember what it's like to feel enjoyed outside of sex
There is something in this writing that's truly next-level meta, and my comment won't even come close to doing it justice, but some people are going to say that it's just making excuses for bad behaviour, and passing off accountability, BUT, this is a rare example of opening up, and embracing insecurity; it's not an "excuse", it's just a fact, and a logical extrapolation of how trauma will change the nicest guys into narcissistic assholes. This guy is no longer afraid of his demons; he faced them, he owns them, and they work for HIM now. This is true empowerment. Keep your heads up high, Kings.
Flipping great execution on that last line the face the tone the shake in the voice and the glint in the eyes, it's perfect and flawless it really shows the depth of the character
This is too brutally honest. Guys are more romantic than girls. Love to females is a commodity, a tool, something to gain from. Love for men is their reason for being. I've been cheated on, used and abused. All I wanted was a loving relationship. Women wanted a house and money with no responsibilities.
I am sure women would say the same thing about men. It really just ends up being two sides that don't understand each other throwing out blanket statements and judgements doesn't it?
As a man, who spent 10+ years (1year dating, 9.5 years married) to a woman whom I loved, left me for another man. I never once cheated, lied, or anything. Yet it's all my fault when I did nothing wrong. And I haven't loved since.
Coming back here after realizing Sal was right. I gave love one more chance after 3 different failures. Now I am the one that breaks hearts and gets a kick out of it.
I ain’t ever getting my heart broken again like when I was 22, I wish I had never met her. They say that it’s better to have loved and lost than to have never loved at all but I disagree wholeheartedly. My heart still aches when I think about her and it’s soul crushing to know that she doesn’t feel the same.
Depends on the situation. Take an elderly couple. Married for let's say 40 years and had 4 children together. Then one day the woman gets diagnosed with cancer and passes away after a couple years. Was it better for the man to have never met her or loved and lost her? Loved and lost. They had a life together, were happily married, had children together and she passed away. But I also understand what you mean. Choosing to leave and dying are two different things. I was also in a similar situation when I was in high school. I was once friends with this one girl from my church. I still remember the day we became friends. I was in 9th grade and i think she was in the 8th grade. I remember it was at a youth event at my youth pastors house and our entire youth group was there. All the boys went outside to go play football. I suck at football and it was chilly outside so I decided to just stay inside with all the girls. I remember day dreaming about whatever I was daydreaming about and then she sits down right next to me and she says to me: "why aren't you playing football with the other boys?" I told her it was cold outside and I wasn't very good at it. Me and her never spoke before, despite both of us growing up in that church and I never had any prior feelings. I remember the exact day. It was October 25th, 2015. This was the first conversation we had. Through the next couple years we became friends. We talked a lot at church, spent time together at youth events. We started off as friends but eventually I started to develop feelings for her. My feelings were very strong. I really really liked her. We got along very well and I thought we had a lot of chemistry. I thought she was the one God had for me and this was it. I started to daydream about a romantic relationship with her, marriage, life together, having a family with her. Eventually, she found out I liked her from someone else at church and then things went downhill. She didn't want to talk to me anymore. She started giving me the silent treatment. I was completely crushed and hurt. I actually just stopped going to church because I couldn't bare to see her anymore but she did not want to see me. Was it worth it for her to come talk to me on that day? No. I was better off left alone. I still wish she had not but I can't change what happened. All I can do is move on and pray to God for healing
He gets back up & goes "And they gave it up to her!"... That's probably one of the best potrayals of a drunk person... The tengents that restart by a trigger of a word or sentence🤣
I can definitely say this, that very first relationship I ever had back when I was like 15 or 16 whichever one it was, I wasn't the same when it came to dating, because that first girl hurt me the worst. Her cheating on me, screwed up any relationship I could ever have with another woman, because every single one of the relationships I done had in like the past 2 years didn't last because I knew from the start it wasn't going to last, because I was afraid of getting my heart broken again, so instead of letting it happen again, I ended the relationships first every time.
We, the people always had that one moment where one of our friends let’s it all out. A casual talk turns real, the mood turns somber, the real then comes out and the smiles fade and the focus turns on and you all realize this isn’t funny. It’s real.
I can hear the emotions and pain from his voice when he rants. He’s still hurting over what happened that it became a part of him. The result of being trapped in his own loop of getting his heart broken that turned him scummy. Somewhere in his life, he tried to make it all look so perfect but didn’t realize the fact that it could’ve been his turn to lose. So he takes on a persona and facade to make himself look better and something he can admire and be proud, which I don’t blame him for, cause we all been like that somewhere. A form or way to cope.
If you're hurt bad enough, it breaks you open in a way where you have no choice to be vulnerable. You suffer enough pain, and ironically you no longer care about being hurt.
I had the same thought and this is literally 1 of the only good scenes. I didn't absolutely hate it but it was long winded, over the top, and to close to a sitcom setting for my liking. Personally I think it could have been better if there was more depth and movement to the story. It's basically an 88 min cliche rant about men, women, and sex.
That is 110% accurate because of the generation now & the future. We will continue to do the same it never changes. A man judged first, talked about, then left behind. The reason as each generation keeps up with high expectations with a half glass full. Breakup/divorce will stand at high
You know it's deep when you can memorize this video and everything word for word of what he just said, and you can relate to it all and you will still love her but thanks to her you'll never forget what the lesson she taught you.
So true! I was always the nice guy. Whenever I was in a relationship I always went the extra mile, for no other reason than that I wanted to show her just how much I cared. Of course it was never enough. They would always find something petty to throw in my face. I had one girl dump me after asking me my opinion on a few hair colors she was considering, and me not choosing the one she preferred. I never learned my lesson until my fifth gf. I really thought it was going to be the one that would work out. We were engaged, and going to be married in a month. It was at that point I discovered that she had "fallen in love" with another man. It's been 3 years, and I've been single ever since. The ironic thing is that her and most of the others ended up with abusive men.
I’m the same way I’m the nice guy I always go above and beyond because it’s what I would want done for me but After opening up so many times to have my heart crushed I’m honestly wondering what was the point of it all why did I care so much when they didn’t and yes most of my ex’s are with abusive men or married
Been single, virgin at age 26. Zero relationship, hugs, kisses, touch, romantic chat. Coz every girl I cared for they rejected and ghosted me. Not even a single one of them gave me a chance to prove my love.
This also happens to woman too, I'm always the girl who goes above and beyond for men who don't appreciate it and cheat on me or treat me like shit... the say nice guys finish last is legit the same saying for girls too yano
@@noteveryoneisthesame5861In away you are right women go through BS like this too; but more often then not its because those guys that they selected weren't good men from the get-go.. But for guys it's a more painful experience because we were taught that if we go above and beyond that she will cherish and love us for doing so but then when we do we get the heart break that was commented and displayed on the video above... When men break no no really pays a close mind to our pain. It sinks deep and rots till the individual eventually recovers but by then they are no longer the man they once were. Im sorry you experienced that kind of pain and I'm not trying to downplay what you been through but I'm just expressing the difference between the two genders when it comes to relationship heart break.
Really hits home, 100% accurate and every man will have been through this. I got cheated on and broken up with not long back when I was already down from a hard time and needed her once, just once, after I had "been a rock for her" (her own words), and this scene reflects every emotion going and more with it
I got my heart shattered at the age of 18 both of us are the same age. I’d like to believe I did everything right for this girl I was patient, respectful, and faithful. Then I head out to college and boom she gets a job, great, but she started cheating with the 47 year old guy who trained her. Ever since I’ve never been the same can’t love like I used to

I literally feel this so deeply right now. I’ve been in a relationship for 7 years and found out she’s been cheating on me for a year. This was a few days ago I found out. Been a wreck since and this clip is exactly my feelings and I don’t know how to move on. I’m 23 and shes 21. Been together since basically 16 and 14.
Caitlin was her name. Never gonna forget the lesson she taught me. She made me realize women tend to only want what they can't have. When I did it the first time she stone walled me. Then when I finally went to move on with my life she came back. Wanting me to dump my fiance. I finally got the courage to tell her I love you but I don't trust you. Best statement I've ever said to anyone.
@@FangYuanDaoistGuYou speak the truth Sir. The woman that shapes us into the man we are is not our mother. But the 1st love we have that rips out our hearts. It's a right of passage to becoming a man sadly.
16 when I first had my heart broken!!! The part I feel bad, I’m married now, and I know in the back of my head I have never given 100% to my wife because of what happened back then.
I’m 4 months out of a 2 year relationship. Thought I’d spend the rest of my life with her. She was my best friend, we shared everything, she was everything I ever wanted. We thought we were going to get married. She cheated on me and said it was because she was polyamorous. Had the audacity to blame me for being mad. Said she needed time to figure things out. Got into a relationship a week later and strung me along for another two months before telling me. I don’t love her anymore, that’s all dried up, but I still love what we had. And I miss it, and I know I’m not giving that kind of trust and love to anyone ever again.
To those who are putting this down; NO, breaking hearts because your own heart was broken ISN’T correct or condoned. However this clip exposes an explanation, not an excuse, and explanations are needed because “womanizers” are labeled as villains whilst when women are promiscuous, it’s “heroic” and “independent”. Woman can be just a butthurt about this subject IF NOT MORE, and the profound nature of this clip is a man even being vulnerable about his own bleeding vulnerabilities. Us men didn’t realize the truth of our own sentiments, and thus we can learn to move forward and heal because clips like this INFORM us with insight. So it goes both ways, sure, but how often are men consoled as women are when it comes to the broken heart? How often to women take accountability as men are expected to for their own mistakes and infliction of wounds?
I disagree that women who are promiscuous are thought of as heroic and independent - there's a ton more social stigma about promiscuous women compared to promiscuous men - but the rest of your message is absolutely right.
A girl yesterday told me that because men would cheat and hoe around that now women are using their sexuality as a weapon. I said what about guys like me. She told me that I'm one of the very few good guys and that I got stuck with everyone else. And that is why I don't associate with women
@@generalhospital8208 You are correct. As I explained, it’s no excuse. But if we disregard explanation, we dehumanize very broken people, and thus we tend to stand on self-righteous ground. Every action has a reaction, and you don’t have to agree with someone to understand why they have their stance. In this world, anyone who breaks a heart has forfeit their innocence. And even if we don’t think we have, we have all broken a heart, or we will. It’s the inevitability of the human condition.
I remembered having my heart crushed in the 8th grade. I thought she was really into me, until I found out that it was an act just for in the school. When I seen her holding hands with her actual boyfriend at the park, she saw me and introduced me to him as her classmate, and not even a friend title. I held those tears in until I got home and went into my room. I was so out of it, that the best description I can give right now is an anime character who have eyes that looked like it was no signs of life in my body. The next day, I grew distant towards everyone because it felt like they knew the entire time and no one said anything to me. Ever since then, I didn’t look to get with any women (relationship wise) until I got in college.
I fought so hard to fix my relationship with my ex fiancé and when I couldn’t save it, I held on and fought like hell to get her back, and you know what she did? She dated another guy, led me on for NINE MONTHS, telling me she still loved me, she missed me, we’d be back together again one she pinky promised. She broke up with him, and then got engaged to another guy she just met. She told me “move on, Jon” “go fuck random chicks” “get over me” and she blocked me on everything and kicked me out of her life. I spent so many nights crying and praying she’d come back until one day I just stopped. And afterwards I promised myself that I would never ever ever let myself be put through that again and I’d never shed another tear for someone who didn’t want to be in my life.
Man, that's horrible. Same thing happened to me, to the letter, except it was only four months that she lead me on. I did start to consider offing myself. I can't imagine how horrible nine months would've been, man, and I'm so sorry to hear that. I want you to know that you're one strong motherfucker, and I hope you're feeling better now.
"You'll recover, but you'll never get over it". Yes, that's absolutely true

@@art23428 You do. Deeply. Otherwise, you would never have watched this video or made this comment. Facts.
@Openreality, why are you lecturing a 40 yr old? I'm sure he knows what love is.
What sucks is that he’s right. We never forget even if we can forgive. It hurts in our most private moments. Because time doesn’t “heal all pain” it just blurs the memories and dulls the agony
dude.... deep man, deep

25 now same story
This is gospel truth.
I made this observation almost 30 years ago. EVERY guy I knew who was a player or cheater had been absolutely destroyed by a woman.
The guy who was, without question, the biggest player we grew up with... He had been extra kind, loving and loyal until he walked in on the girl that he lost his virginity to getting plowed by one of his best friends. It's been over 30 years and his reign of terror is still on-going.
beautiful
And it'll never stop.
Matthew lillard is without a doubt one of my favourite actors of all time, he doesn't get the recognition he deserves
Matthew Lillard would say otherwise, but he'd be wrong.
I experienced heart break before, the worst feeling i have ever felt in my life , a part of me died that day , and she did it effortlessly and without a second thought and all of a sudden, and after we promised to keep our feelings for each other forever...
And since then , a monster was born , one that eats them hearts for breakfast .
Shaggy after breaking up with Velma:
This movie was ahead of its time...
What the name of this movie
It’s really not… it’s just a story as old as time. Women have been destroying men since they were created.
And they wonder why we don't want to be committed to them 😒
So he's an awful person same as the OG girl was. How does that fix anything?

It’s been like 2 years and she is still in my fucking head!!! Drives me insane. She has been my only love because I am not attractive and women want nothing to do with a broken man like me. My head is sick with contamination OCD and that instantly made my first girlfriend leave me. I’ve got demons inside me. Nobody gives a fuck to listen!!!! I just see myself in the future living alone. No kids. No wife. Nothing. I am about to turn 23 and This generation I am a part of gives me no hope in finding anyone to actually give a shit about me.
This guy is no longer afraid of his demons;
he faced them, he owns them, and they work for HIM now.

This is too brutally honest. Guys are more romantic than girls. Love to females is a commodity, a tool, something to gain from. Love for men is their reason for being. I've been cheated on, used and abused. All I wanted was a loving relationship. Women wanted a house and money with no responsibilities.
not all females and not all males brotha, but most.. definitely
I am sure women would say the same thing about men. It really just ends up being two sides that don't understand each other throwing out blanket statements and judgements doesn't it?

There is wisdom in this scene; wisdom, and a warning to all people to think about who you want in your life
Coming back here after realizing Sal was right. I gave love one more chance after 3 different failures. Now I am the one that breaks hearts and gets a kick out of it.
Blow me away
Drunk or not, what he was saying was true
"Frankenstein was a whore?"
"you leave my wife out of this"
ah yes that classic humor
I can definitely say this, that very first relationship I ever had back when I was like 15 or 16 whichever one it was, I wasn't the same when it came to dating, because that first girl hurt me the worst.
Her cheating on me, screwed up any relationship I could ever have with another woman, because every single one of the relationships I done had in like the past 2 years didn't last because I knew from the start it wasn't going to last, because I was afraid of getting my heart broken again, so instead of letting it happen again, I ended the relationships first every time.
I feel you. Coming out of an 8 year relationship
How do you break the cycle?had the same happen to me and Kinda stuck in it atm XD
Shit happens, move on.
Yet again Mathew Lillard is killing a role
In the immortal words of obito uchiha: "When a Man learns to feel love he must also bear the risk of feeling hate".
Absolutely love this scene, haven’t seen the film yet, but seeing this scene makes me wanna watch it right now
I had the same thought and this is literally 1 of the only good scenes.
@Thanos is Retired what does that mean ?
He ain’t wrong. Shit like that changes people. Some just change a little more than most
Really hits home, 100% accurate and every man will have been through this.

We thought we were going to get married. She cheated on me and said it was because she was polyamorous. Had the audacity to blame me for being mad. Said she needed time to figure things out. Got into a relationship a week later and strung me along for another two months before telling me. I don’t love her anymore, that’s all dried up, but I still love what we had. To those who are putting this down;
NO, breaking hearts because your own heart was broken ISN’T correct or condoned.
I'm an eye for an eye and believe that in the jungle there are no innocent it either you or them and I'm not letting them get me out there
@@generalhospital8208 You are correct. It’s the inevitability of the human condition.
here comes CA{TAIN SAVE A HOE
