Putting the limiter in my old phaser when I did the SS3 cam was actually pretty easy to do a year and a half ago before I recently switched cams. It’s not a hard process to do.
Hey i have a question i bought a texas speed stage 1 cam it came with phaser delete wedge ...i took that wrong bolt all the way out heard it unwind put the wedge in and bolted it back up..do you know what would happen if i tried to use it?

Great! Good thing that I got my cam installed tonight. Bad thing that I removed the wrong screw. Fortunately amazon has one getting here tomorrow.
I have to rewind one. Any pointer's? I think it's two times around.

Best advice is to replace the phaser. Rewinding that spring is no fun.
What’s the size of the bolt you used to keep it all together?
What foot pound do you torque the torx screws when putting it back together?
Can I reuse the cam phaser bolt ??
Is it the same process on a 2010 L99? Does the limiter go in the same slot inside?
Any update on it?
@@_simplynay it is the same... I just did mine. There is only one position for the limiter to go.
Travis Peoples got mine from gpi 4 degrees, did you use the same one or the 0 degree, mine didn’t fit
4 or 0 degree?
@@Izzy-nq1pk mine is 20° I have a picture of it on Instagram lq9_z71
I bought you know most people can't use two hands at one time right 😆
4 degrees seems like it is pointless. the factory sprocket allows for 60+
4 degrees of timing can make a pretty big difference. I prefer to just run the 0 degree limiter.
Too much ehh and ooh and more eehh.
