An ex-student of mine recommended me The new Abnormal, highlighting The adults are talking. As she listened to a band I recommended her, I thought it was fair to listen to her recommended band. So I did, then the entire album became part of my routine, and Selfless was my first obsession from this album, now bad decisions is it. And, knowing me, little by little, each song from the album, and hopefully, the entire discography will have their moment to shine in my headphones. Strokes fans, if you want to, I'm eager to hear some recommendations of albums and songs. Thnx!
Honestly you can't really go wrong with anything of theirs, that's what makes them so good! I love their first three albums, and The New Abnormal album is probably my favorite. "Reptilia" and "You Only Live Once" are a couple of great songs. I listened to a couple of their songs over the years, but after seeing them perform live this year I've done a deep dive into their music and become a huge fan. Hope you have fun doing the same! 😁

I see so many people mentioning that this saved their 2020, I really would have found them back then, since 2020 was one of the best years for me and if The Strokes had been in it I would have been just perfect, but luckily I'm with them this year and the years that follow. And now I'm here, very excited and patient for Julian's second collaboration with Daft Punk, I feel that this week could be one of the best despite everything. Tired of this argument. For whatever reason the Strokes have a section of the fanbase that says everything is amazing. It takes away from the many peaks the band has had.
