In case of it not working, please check the following things:
- Is your Yuzu up to date? (it can even say upto date, without it being. needs to be atleast version 1560 or higher)
- Is your Smash up to date? (13.0.2)[currently a bit problematic]
- does smash run without Arc?
- Does it work after clearing your yuzu folder?
- Is your Arc/SDMC in the Smash Properties activated?

A lot of people can’t get the acropolis folder, please upvote for helping others:
Make sure SDMC is enabled by right clicking on smash and going into properties.
Make sure you are on the recent version of smash bros AND yuzu
(To check if you have the right version of smash, make sure you have the update file if you don’t. It’s 13.0.1. Click once on Smash in Yuzu, then go to file. Click install files to NAND. And then pick the update. You can also do this with DLC!)

Hey Everyone, Please Like this to make it more visible. If you are modding using Yuzu, The new update of ARCropolis no longer works with the current updated Yuzu version. Basically, you Either need to go back and reinstall both Yuzu amd Arcropolis to a previous version, or wait for the developers of ARCropolis to address the issue. Additionally, you would also need to be sure to download the newest 13.0.2 update for smash (and from what I can see it's pretty hard to find, I've yet to find one myself). but I believe once I do it may fix the issue.

I installed the training modpack a couple of weeks ago and my game started freezing, so I dismantled Yuzu and installed the modpack BEFORE any texture mods as is recommended. But then, Yuzu started ignoring my texture mods completely!
I went through this and realized I was missing the legacy discovery file. Now everything's running smoothly, you've been a big help!

Tried with the latest version 13.02, it works, remember to remove special characters and space in the folder name of your mod, or it won't work.
I tried to play online with a mutual who also installed it we had the same mods and stuff but when we lauched it by joining a yuzu online server it crashed even thought it works offline for both of us , any solutions to make it work online ? (without parsec because it needs good wifi to work properly) .
it is not supported natively like that, take a look at zonic's hdr smash yuzu tutorial on TH-cam or under the post in the original gamebanana guide

What problems does the previous method have? Does it make some mods not work correctly? I had issues running some moveset mods (Old Bear New Tricks Side B was broken, alucard and sonic drop dash mods not working at all) and I had some other stuff not work (mods that change link's down b model don't change it), does this method fix issues like that or no?
sometimes it will fix the issue, but mostly problems come from new updates of acropolis and in that case the mod wouldn't work on a switch either, it depends, and sometimes it is hard to find out
As someone who used mods in Smash on Yuzu before the recent update, I’m gonna need a tutorial on how to uninstall the mods and fresh install the newly updated version for the new Smash update. I was using Yuzu EA 4002 with the previous version just fine, then I got Yuzu EA 4176 just before it was taken down. And I’ve yet to update Smash because of issues with mods, though I have the new update file on my computer if needed, but future mods need the new version and I hope someone mods in Rocko from Rocko’s Modern Life.

just follow the readme provided in ultimate s, your sd card would be the yuzu folder in this case

adding new characters work the same as it would work on the switch, no need to make a new tutorial for that.
Theres a new version of the game, the version 13.0.2, this means the newest arcropolis won't work so you should download an older version if you're on 13.0.1
Tried this and it created the acropolis folder finally but now yuzu is stuck at launching

@@chanchowatonhow do you downgrade yuzu? I accidentally updated it and it’s now stuck on the loading screen. Did everything I could and checked everywhere for an answer and I just really assumed it’s cause I updated the yuzu. Before that all my mods were working perfectly fine

This worked great with Yuzu EA version 4176 and firmware 17.0.1. You will also need Ultimate 13.0.2 update patch. I have about 85 mods installed and have not had any issues.

that's because your version of yuzu is bricking your 13.0.1 smash update, same thing happens to me. so either update your smash (the move set mods won't work but the skin mods still do) or use a older version of yuzu
im trying to generate the acropolis folder in C:\Users\pc\AppData\Roaming\yuzu\sdmc\ultimate , but everytime i run smash it loads but when i stop the emulation the acropolis folder is not there, ive checked the smash version which is 13.0.1, my yuzu version is [1647] and disable applet is checked, i don't know what to do anymore hope for a response
clean install your Yuzu folder and retry it
@@Timerin Ive done a clean install of yuzu now and deleted the original yuzu folders in local and roaming yet the folder doesn't generate, im using the exact yuzu verison of yours, and the acropolis folder doesnt generate, i see the comments in your video and you say "-Is your sdmc in the smash properties activated" what do you mean by that because i might try it. also smash does run without arc folder i put in load with skyline and ARCropolis
@@ItzPeople my bad, about the SDMC, that's how it is called on the other tutorial, in this one, if you rightclick smash, under Properties you find a Arc setting! It needs to be activated

for anyone in the future - the legacy_discovery file is just a blank file. to create it yourself, you can create legacy_discovery.txt and then just delete the .txt
for that you also need to activate the viewability of the extension names, as it is not on by default, I found it easier to just link it as a file, and incase you say the link is broken, only the alternative link is broken right now. the original still works
Could you make a tutorial on how make Single Slot Effects work on Yuzu? Since Yuzu now supports ARCropolis
it would be the same way as you would do on a switch, yuzu emulates the folder structure too from the switch, so watching a tutorial meant for the switch will do
Do you know how to get music mods working? I can’t seem to get them working. I have placed them in the mods folder but yuzu doesn’t seem to recognize the music mod.
like every other mod, make sure the folder structure is correct

Hey, I am able to generate the Arcropolis folder but the mods do not show up in the game. I have followed all the steps and the mods I am using I know work because I have been able to use them before.

there are ways to get an older version of yuzu though, the make sure to update yuzu was specifically mentioned towards people who had yuzu for a long time but didn't update it manually yet
For some reason, I can't play online anymore (i only use skin mods). When i enter local multiplayer in smash ultimate, the game fades to black and i fall back to the main menu. Is it a glitch with Arcropolis ? how am i supposed to play online by now ?
online is not supposed to work, you can only play with others that have installed the same mods by installing the hdr in the original guide in the description.
also when it comes to playing with friends, parsec works

Is it normal for the game to stutter so much with mods enabled? Is there some kind of workaround? Its definitely playable, but noticeably less smooth than not playing with mods.
when using alot of mods, the character selection being laggy can be normal, but lags ingame shouldn't happen, after all shaders got compiled (you can see it on the bottom left) if it lags with all shaders compiled, then it can depend on multiple factors
@@Timerin I've pretty much completely finished building shaders for the game, as I've been playing it for months, not to mention the game runs well without the mods enabled. I've read online that the culprit could be the Nro. files because they don't have shaders or something like that, but I don't know exactly how that works. What do you suggest? I can remove all the mods I currently have on, but keep sdmc enabled in properties, but I have a feeling it will still occasionally come stutter...

i have a problem where if i download 13.0.1 and import it to my ssbu, im in an infinite launching screen
clear yuzu folder in appdata
it worked (with yuzu 1717 and smash 13.0.2) but then it just stopped working, the game loads fine but the mods simply are not showing. Tried de- and activating the smdc and going back to version 13.0.1 and nothing worked.
i would wait till the yuzu and acropolis team worked on a fix

i cant find a 13.0.1 file with the dlcs i waited 2 hours for one rom to install and it didnt work i tried looking but i cant find it.
it should be an update file, not a dlc file, and mostly the first Google search will already help out.

all mods are compatible as again, they did work once but then it stopped loading the game

no, it should be inside the moment you unlocked the character it is based on

Hey i downloaded a mod and on strart up its saying "during file discovery, ARCropolics encountered file conflicts" btw this is my only mod can you help me fix this
unfortunaly never heard of that error before, try out a different mod to see if it may just be the mod causing the error

After putting a mod in to a folder and installing all its dependencies the game goes straight to a black screen after the first load.

that is odd, could you tell me some specifics like the yuzu version you are using, and which dependencies?
I had issues like that once myself, and I think in that case it was an dependency messing the rest up, sorry for the late replay TH-cam turned off notifications on its own.

you need to download 13.0.1 still, as acropolis didn't get ported to the newest version yet

skin mods work but when i try to install a moveset mod it does an infinite launching screen, i think i installed the dependencies @@Timerin
@@AWobblyBike some mods simply don't work because of the mod not being updated, maybe try another movement mod first

I think it does, but I personally wasn't able to set it up, could be I just did it wrong in general though.
so trial and error, following a tutorial meant for switch will work for you too as yuzus folder structure is meant to emulate the one of a switch, especially since SDMC emulates the sd card slot

So I did everything correctly and even had a fresh Yuzu install. However, whenever I activate SDMC in the properties, the game is stuck on the "Launching" screen, no matter how long I wait, the game won't load.

did you also activate that mod? and check your yuzu settings, there is a option called vsync mode in graphic settings, I personally have it on fifo (vsync on)
I did everything right. I even updated yuzu and it just wont make acropolis folder...
clear out your yuzu folder and follow the pinned comment, trust me when I say it always is human error when that happens. not an personal attack or anything, most likely just old files going against acropolis

it's not broken, but the current version of skyline just doesn't work anymore thanks to the newest updates on smash, it needs to be remade so it works again, just give it time

Edit: Nevermind, turns out the update it had was a fake 3.0.1, just had to update it with a different file and it worked :)
sounds like your Smash isn't up to date! make sure you have the latest smash update installed, it is 13.0.1

if you mean something like a save file so you already have your characters unlocked, yes.

The game version, Yuzu version is the latest. It starts even if arc is disabled.

as an addition incase I forgot to explain it, all folders not named in that step, should be deleted, then open yuzu up again so it can regenerate the folders

Yeah basically, the thing that I did, is inside the ultimate folder, create a backup folder and drag the mods I currently not use in there

when it comes to emulation, on a laptop it can work too, as long as it can handle smash without mods too, on android/ios devices it won't work, and in case of a switch, if your switch is moddable, then of course you can do it on your switch too.

@@louiwaz8821 it's only legal if you use your own copy, using pirated downloads. always come with their risks for a reason, to say it outright, it's not a big problem if you pirate it even if you don't own it, but Nintendo is pretty strict at the persue of Internet pirates (uploaders) that's why I can't provide much more details
to get the update from your switch you would need a modded switch, if you don't have that, don't bother about thinking to get it from there, and search online
