Alright so I lowkey goofed at 10:01. I accidentally cut it, but I just dragged the final version of the Aegis Neon folder into my microSD card. Shouldn't make a difference, but just in case if anyone is confused by the cut.
Finally someone has done a video on one effects. Thank you so much for showing us this.

thank you so much for this. I was trying to apply the azure flames mod over c07 to go with the machamp mod and i was having a massive headache over this and this vid cleared everything up immediately

Small tip for future tutorials: raise the scale / sizing of text for improved visibility on the viewer's side of things :)
Also, any chance you can do a one slot victory theme tutorial? that only one that exists is extremely sloppy and almost impossible to follow :/

Glad it helped! I don’t do this for the money, but if I find time in between my current workload I’ll get to it. Unlikely anytime within this month since I’m attending Genesis though.

i have an issue with several skin mods, that crashes the game except when i delete the effect folder (i mostly use one slot skins), then the skin looks incomplete. does doing these helps with that issue?
as in following the steps of the video? if so then yeah that should solve any one slot issues. if it doesn’t feel free to lmk and i can try to help with ur specific case
When I downloaded the one slot folder from gamebanana, it came with both ._.DS and ._atmosphere files for each folder inside the atmosphere folder. Do I keep those files and add them to the switch anyways? Thanks in advance.
i’m assuming you’re doing everything on a macbook? i can check and get back to you, but i believe you should throw them in iirc
Thanks for the guide. When I'm opening the game it gives me an error detecting "corrupted data" and has me do a check that doesn't find any corrupted data. Do you know what would be causing this to occur?
So this is just unlucky and it seems like ur micro sd card corrupted. Easiest route I can recommend is to format it in ur switch then put everything back in the sd card
If I have different mods in different slots does the one slot effects mod work on a mod that has effects on all slots
if one individual mod takes over every slot and you want that you can do that. if you want it over just one tho you can use this to put it on just one so u can have multiple effects spanning over different alts
i was wondering i got issue with a one slot effect for the " trail " on Marth after doing it the same as you did with the Python app etc i dunno how to change my problem lmao
nevermind it i solved my own issue without thinking lmao great tutorials anyways it helped to slot most of my mods ty

Hi, so I want to use the effect on both Frost and mist fox. How do I make it slot on both of these skins?
So if you see the copy paste thing I did with aegis, you can do the same thing with fox, just change the slot of the copied code to the other alt of the skin.

Should be, yes!
For some reason everytime I do it the config is blank, it just says the "new dir files" part and then thats it
i believe this is because it can’t detect the folder where your effects are. you could try to manually create it or make sure that the naming scheme for everything is correct for the given character

yep! it works on any yuzu-compatible mods

Can you make a video about how to add like extra slots for charecters on smash bros like on the css screen so it looks like there’s more new characters
Am I the only one who is missing effects in all other slots except the one being worked?
so this plugin is meant to make sure that the modded effects stick to the slot that they were originally assigned to! this allows multiple effects mods to go on alts of the same character. if you want the modded effect to go over all slots then (assuming the mod isn’t premade for one-slot effects) you will be able to have that effect on all slots
@@Hawkeye_02 thank you for your response, after some research I discovered that because of smashline 2, the effects wont work on dittos (only one character will have the effects) that's why I was missing the effects in the other slots, because I was testing them all at the same time.

ohhh okay that makes sense ty. i’m not 100% sure but if you did the same process on one of the emulator-compatible mods im sure it would work. worth a shot to say the least
Just gave it a try on Yuzu and can confirm the oneslot mod works with the same steps in the tutorial. Though, the mods I tested already have a config file.
