It’s been a little over a year since I’ve stopped doing anything modding, or really switch related, as I’ve been going through College now. But just today, this evening, I had to the random urge to dust off my switch, and reinstall arcropolis, along with all my old mods. I just got off now, and after not seeing your channel since one of your Metroid Dread livestreams, THIS was the first video in my recommended. hey guys! If you’re getting the error “software closed because an error has occurred you’re likely missing the “libsmashline_plugin.nro”file in your skyline plugins folder. This is important to load certain mods.
not sure if it's a question you can answer, but my switch tends to crash after 20-30 mins or so. I'm only using skin mods, so I'm not sure why it crashes.
I got ARCropolis to work and I can visibly see my mods with a checkmark next to them in the Mod Manager menu, but none of them are showing up in the actual game.?
I would love to do this though I'm unsure if OLED is able to, I may have to copy the files for PC, though I've haven't had time to sit down and test or do anything like that yet... @@SlickNy23 It's as if it's as simple as getting it and plugging it in to us it. It may be cheep for the chip, but the sauteing equipment and the practice not to brick you system is kinda hmm hard and expensive.
See I don’t know the process for the V2 and OLED switch because I have a modded V1 switch that was unpatched, so I did the rum method and now I boot mines up into cfw

I kept getting the error message, "Software was closed because an error occurred." I tried reinstalling Arcropolis and Skyline multiple times, but the issue persisted. What finally worked for me was this: when I added the "Ultimate/mods" folder to the root of my SD card, some old files from a previous installation appeared. I deleted the entire "Ultimate/mods" folder and recreated it from scratch. After that, everything worked fine.
I did all these steps but when I boot up smash bros it isn’t the arcropolis version, I checked and I did install everything correctly can someone help me ?
hey man, thanks for the guide but I'm having a problem where my switch won't let me open smash in atmosphere, saying an update needs to be downloaded even though I'm fully up to date on smash and on the system. I've tried all the sigpatches i've seen online but nothing's working
im having mild issues with actually getting it to recognise i’m on 13.0.2 like when i boot into the stock system it reads the game as being in 13.0.2 but when i try to load it with cfw it still thinks that my copy of ultimate is 13.0.1 any clue on how to fix it??
@@TheGoldenDragon-ic7ry arcropolis and skyline are what’s used in THIS video for SMASH mod loading. Atmosphere cfw is what you need in general for using switch mods and homebrew. In this video I have a section that covers what you need before setting up smash mods and I mention atmosphere cfw as a requirement. I have a separate video that should be followed first on the setup of atmosphere cfw

Thank you so much for the tutorial! Just one quick thing. Hekate is now on 6.1.0 and when I try to boot through Hekate it says no main boot entries found. But I can still get into CFW with using fusee when injecting the payload. How do i fix this? if you know how and you definitely earned a sub from me too!

@@MarkerMonsterArt atmosphere does not include a contents folder. If you setup arcropolis correctly (as shown in the video) it will put a contents folder in your atmosphere folder. Use the video as a visual reference on what to do. Hope this helps!

You don’t need cross arc, just use the picture as a reference. I recommend joining my discord because I break down how to install music mods and other stuff in a smash modding faq channel, also: Go to `ultimate/mods/` and make a `custommusic` folder and open it. Now make a `stream;` folder, inside that make a `sound` folder, and inside that a `bgm` folder. It should be `custommusic/stream;/sound/bgm/` Place your custom music `.nus3audio` files in the `bgm` folder
I turned off my switch after trying to delete instant attack pack because I kept getting an error message. After I did, I tried to reload fusee.bin to reload atmosphere but it only loads into Hekate? Is there anything you can do to help me? I can’t reaccess atmosphere
I just wanna let anyone know, I fixed this issue do to bad design on the tegrarcmgui app. I clicked the fusee.bin and it highlighted blue but it did not actually select it, you had to double click it for it to work. As for it crashing, I have the training modpack and when I deleted the nrohook, the training modpack was crashing my game. Hope this helps anyone who might have this kind of issue.

Yes they’re still up to date. Just make sure you use the latest release of atmosphere cfw(and fusee.bin), arcropolis, and skyline. The setup process is still the same, just make sure you are using the latest release of everything. Your chances of being banned are very slim as many people, myself included, play modded smash online regularly. Stay away from illegitimate game copies 🏴☠️, cheating online, and you should be good
you help me alot but now i got a problem. i want to install movesets like Vegito. I load everything but my switch gets each time an Error when i try to start the game
before i launch the game it says “Some necessary data could not be found. It will be downloaded now.” is it safe to download this? mods worked when i pressed start software but i’m afraid they won’t if i download the data, & afraid i’ll get banned.

Please, do you know how to load an external SSBU save on my CFW switch ? I'm trying to mod another switch and I need a 100% save but I don't have the 01006A800016E000 folder in atmosphere/contents I know I can create the folder but that doesn't work !! I've tried to load said save with JKSV but that doesn't work too
Everything works fine I singleplayer. But when I try to access local wireless and create a room I get stuck on a forever loading screen. I've looked into the issue and it seems to be caused by skyline, one person even saying it's an intended feature to avoid bans. I've definitely seen people use skin mods in multiplayer before and am wondering how they get around skyline's restriction.
I tried following your guide, but when I boot up Smash, its like my mod folder isn't there at all. No confirmation, no Acropolis version on the title screen, nothing. I've double checked my file paths and nothing seems out of place. What should I do?
following every step exactly and the game crashes right when i get to 20:32. i only downloaded joker skins and the custom menu shown in the video, and also tried it again with no mods installed at all and it crashes every time
when mods are disabled it adds a . to the beginning of the folder name. Access your SD card via ftp or USB (it's quicker than ejecting), go to ultimate/mods/ and add a . to the beginning of the mod folder

I recommend joining the discord and asking in the help channel. You can provide photos of your mod folders and it’ll help a lot in fixing your setup

Download the latest arcropolis and install it as you normally would. Replace any files when asked and you’re good to go

You can use skin mods in ONLINE multiplayer. I don’t remember if local wireless works

I tried following your guide, but when I boot up Smash, its like my mod folder isn't there at all. No confirmation, no Acropolis version on the title screen, nothing. I've double checked my file paths and nothing seems out of place.
What should I do?

following every step exactly and the game crashes right when i get to 20:32. i only downloaded joker skins and the custom menu shown in the video, and also tried it again with no mods installed at all and it crashes every time

I’ve downloaded a few mods. Some work but most don’t. I’m not sure why that’s happening?
More than likely caused by the file setup being wrong. Check the mods out to see if they’re any different than the ones that are working

is there a way to open the mod manager by itself? i know what mod is crashing my game and i want to disable it without deleting it
when mods are disabled it adds a . to the beginning of the folder name. Access your SD card via ftp or USB (it's quicker than ejecting), go to ultimate/mods/ and add a . to the beginning of the mod folder
