Honestly I love all 14 korn albums. They’re my favorite band of all time and I’ve seen them multiple times…and Take a Look In The Mirror is my favorite album from them. Heavy, good melody, great bass, and great riffs. Just the best IMO

The label made Metallica do the same. On their second album, the song "Escape" was James' attempt to write a radio friendly song per the label's demand. The label wouldn't release the album unless James agreed to write a radio friendly song that the label could release as a single. The band hated the song and for almost thirty years they refused to play it live.

I really enjoy this album (Take a Look in the Mirror) a lot, this album actually came out a few years after I discovered KoRn, so it was really the 1st new music I heard from them after I listened to their 1st 4 albums. So many bangers on here, I can play it straight through, no skips for me! Did my Time was also on this album, you reacted to it a while ago, you also reacted to a live version of the song Break Some Off. Other standout songs include Right Now, Counting On Me, Everything I've known, When Will This End. But the whole album is fantastic IMO, that classic KoRn sound, but chunkier, more grimey, and I love John's voice on this album! I feel like he really perfected his screaming on this one. Great reaction Kurtis!

What's unfortunate for me is, I love this album, but the band really doesn't.
Officials videos are always edited anyway, something to avoid when listening to metal
Can't watch if videos aren't official. Others can pull it off so you should be able to. You miss out on a story that needs told on any given video.
"Take a look in the mirror" was their last korn album before everything fell apart even in their music videos for this album not much work was done to it as if it was on a bad budget.
After this album korn went all electro music cause head left the band following David. Head eventually came back but a feud between David the drummer happened and they never got back together.
which is why all of korn new songs sounds off and incomplete.
Sorry but the new drummer is awful not an awful drummer but a awful drummer for korn cause hus style is completely different than David's funk/hip-hop drum flow.
Being a long time korn fan you knew something was off about this album that their sound slightly was different or things was going on in the band.
The reason why this one sounds off is because it was self produced, the riffs, drums are great, just not well produced.
Rays great, the last few albums have been amazing, David's gone for good and has been gone for nearly 2 decades, suck it up
@@Jake-xb7nz korn is love and known for their unique sound and style hence all their old albums that being said with David's style of drumming with out all the members of that band that completes korns sound they don't sound like korn period.
None of their newer albums have had any impact their old albums have had they are very bland songs very incomplete sounds, they sound like any generic band out there now cause they don't have the characteristics that completed their style and sound that they have had and are again known for..
Ray as a drummer is fine but as a drummer for korn he is awful he does not fit in the style that the previous drummer had their last few albums they tried to get their sound back and head really wanted to push that to have their old sound back thats been missing he explains that in a interview.
But in the end the results didn't really fit still the album they made to push that old sound was "serenity of suffering" the song they really tried to make sound like korn was "rotting in vain" which is the only song in the album that sounds close to korns old stuff but not completely.
The rest of that album is met with the same bland sound they have had since David's departure.
I say again there's not one good album with the new drummer. The whole sound of the original members is what completed the whole style and sound of korn.
I already pointed out the old drummer wasn't involved anymore indont know why you act like I didn't point this out.
People like korns old albums and korns old albums are what korn is known for that being with David's drumming.
So I suggest you suck it up that korn today will never sound as good as their original band members therefore will never get a hit album to fits their loved sound and style. They will always come up short. Till the real band is together again.

All the things you're stating are just your opinion, and the overall opinion is that Korn still makes great music, and is still immediately identifiable by their sound, even with the new albums. David left himself, they replaced him, and when his own ventures didn't work out he tried to say that he only left temporary and was owed money for music he didn't make. He definitely won't be going back
