Anyone who experienced hillsborough, things like that can never leave you. Ziggy what a great character he was in grange hill for all off us who were kids while he was in the show back in the 1980s
This man is a huge part of my childhood. Absolute legend. Sorry to hear about his mental health. Wishing him nothing but healing and love ♥️♥️thank you for our Ziggy 🙏🏻♥️
I remember him as one of the most naturally gifted actors on that show. With that talent often comes a lot of baggage. I hope he’s doing ok now and enjoying life.
My all time favourite character from Grange Hill, best episode with George (Ziggy) was the Grange Hill ghost was hilarious what Ziggy, Gonch, Robbie and Hollo did to Trevor Cleaver.
George is looking in good nick. He was great in Grange Hill - a real standout character, as there weren't many non-Londoners. Phil Redmond must have jumped at the chance to get a Scouser on board. Good lad, I hope he gets better with time.
All these years on and there is STILL no real help for mental health.Really there isn't!! Not if you are an indiginous person of the British Isles.....

His book is a great read!
Hope he's OK. He injected so much life into Grange Hill and Brookside. It would be great to see him on screen again.
George doesn’t mention Brookside.

Nice bloke. He was great on the Sausage on a Fork podcast as well.
