Expensive Movies Are KILLING Hollywood

Modern movies are getting worse. They just feel different compared to the films we were getting only a few years ago now, and it seems like creating a great movie out of Hollywood is getting more rare as time passes on. With movies flopping hard at the box office, especially in 2023 with Disney blockbusters like Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny, The Little Mermaid, The Haunted Mansion, The Marvels, Elemental, and Ant-Man and The Wasp Quatumania, and even in 2024 with Argylle and Madame Web, it brings up the question of if these movies are getting worse because of how expensive they have become over the past five years. The production budgets are way too high for the type of movie they are creating, while on the flip side films like Godzilla Minus One and Megan (M3gan), are making their studios a huge profit while working off of budgets under $15 million.
So today, I want to talk about Why Movies Movies Suck Now...
...and spoiler alert...it's because they're too expensive.

I can't believe that Dial of Destiny cost $300 MILLION to make. Yet a film with 10% of the budget like The Creator looks MILES better.

It's disgusting hahaha, I think the Creator was still somewhere around $75 million total but the fact that we could have gotten like four of those over Indy 5 is WILD. Appreciate the comment as always Jack!

I was upset that Godzilla Minus One didn’t even get nominated for best international film and a couple others like acting, make-up, & sound effects.

I like that people you are saying CORRECTLY, that audience are just getting tired of the same thing, so that's why Disney movies are floping now......meanwhile there's gonna be people who say: "IT'S ALL WOKE AGENDA'S FAULT AND COVID WASN'T REAL". Yeahhhhh all of those types of channels are pretty annoying hahaha, most of them don't ever add much actual criticism so they just yell as loud as they can to distract you 😗 I still have to check out the first two Sonic movies at some point, but still looking forward to checking that and ESPECIALLY those other three out!
