When replacing your screen with a new one make shur to use your old fingerprint sensor, it has a chip and it will not accept it for fingerprint opening only home button use!

No.. R.I.P Every touch ID has BIOS and and is unique which is bonded with processor and once replaced it will search for the same bonding no or ID. Hence only home button works.

di tombol home iphone 6/6s ada 2 fungsi. pertama untuk finger dan kedua untuk klik buat kembali ke menu home. nah pada kasusnya mas, tombol homenya untuk fungsi klik sudah tdk berfungsi atau rusak tetapi fungsi finger nya masih bagus. Jadi solusinya ada 2, tetap pakai tombol home yang itu dengan kondisi finger masih bagus atau ganti tombol home baru yang ori(tidak) tetapi fungsi fingernya yang tidak berfungsi. Karena pada tombol home bawaan iphone itu memiliki kode set yang sama dengan mesinnya. jadi meskipun diganti dgn tombol home yg ori, fingernya tetap tdk berfungsi

Nabasa yung home button ko.. binaril ng pellet gun ng anak ko.. not working na ang fingerprint... possible ba na kapag pinalitan ko Touch ID mayos pati fingerprint.. at saan pwede bumili ng Touch ID yung legit.. May fingerprint scanner.. kasi sa Lazada.. wala yata fingerprint scanner..

worthless video! and if you have a cracked screen the suction cup separator wont work. But if you use box tape on the cracked screen the separator will work. hope this helped someone out
