- This is my cover of the studio version of Believer by Ozzy Osbourne off the Diary of a Madman album. Another favorite from the late great Randy Rhoads. I hope you like it.

it's an '88 Ibanez Radius 540 HH. This is the original model that Joe Satriani turned into his signature model. I've had it since it was new. It's got a lot of miles and memories on it.

@@norseqc8197 Not even close. The notes are all right, something's definitely off though. I've listened to that song thousands of times since I was six and it just feels off.
@@Ayyem93 The reason it sounds so off is probably that Randy sometimes doubled and even tripled his note harmonies, not only for the solo but for many parts of the song. The notes played are "correct" but not exactly all there as the studio version :)
Randy would be proud. Also that guitar is killer. Looks like it plays like a dream.

@@Plowguitarist It appears to me that you don't really know what your talking about. I've been a professional guitar teacher since 97 and can tell where the licks of these players come from. Randy Rhoads was very heavenly into classical guitar and applied it to heavy metal. He was also which he said in an interview that he was heavenly into blues and southern Rock and loved jimmy page. Listen to first solo of MR Crowley and then listen to believer. And then Liston to Good Times Bad Times by led Zepplen. You can't miss that if you play guitar.
3:02, and 3;12 in this song and the repeditive licks are all in the style of Jimmy Page.

I had my Amazon prime on 80's metal and just listening to random tunes when this came on. I had not heard it for so long! I immediately began thinking of the main riff and working it out it my head until I could get home. This was the first video I had come to. Such an iconic riff and you really nailed it. Randy is not an easy cover, and some of the parts were eluding me. You showed me the light. Thanks bro on a great choice of cover and knocking it out of the park. Liked and subbed.

wow.... nailed it! I've seen some tutorial videos out there that don't get it right but you really did get it basically perfect. I'm currently working on learning the entire album. RR (and Bob Daisely) were master songwriters.

Right on dude, good ear on the solo to pick it out properly,a lot of people struggle because of the doubling Randy did
glad you liked it. I usually pick either the left side or the right side guitar to learn depending on which take he played cleaner. He always panned hard right and left for the doubles.
