I didn't include Metal Gear Rising because this video is about HF blade in "Solid" series.
To play as Gray Fox in MGS1:VR Missions you have to finish Snake's VR missions first to unlock his missions. HF blade in MGS2 is unlocked in Arsenal Gear after naked raiden section near the end of the game and you can't use it on second playthrough sadly. In MGS2:Substance after completing Snake and Raiden VR missions you can unlock Ninja Raiden missions. I don't know much about MGPO but Raiden and some characters can use swords. In MGO2 you can play as MGS4 Raiden with HF blade, SOCOM and Throwing knifes. He can also deflect bullets just like in MGS2 but I can't show it in training mode.

@@Lobothemainman23 I've seen this behavior a lot recently while playing *Ground Branch.* There's a terrorist hunt mode in which you eliminate all the AI in the map, but you can spectate other players if you die, and it's funny/frustrating seeing your Teamates miss the last target over and over again 🤣.

that mgs4 raiden gameplay really makes me wonder why they determined mgs stealth gameplay was not fit for raiden and went with the hack and slash :((( sneaking on people with the hf blade woulda been so fun
Well MGR was developed by Platinum Games and I think they just decided what regular mgs gameplay with blade will be somewhat boring so they made slasher gameplay. Tho I wish they added moves for his knife what sits in his sheath the entire game without any use (In Metal Gear Solid: Rising trailer he used dualwielding with both sword and knife and it looked pretty cool)

Yep, always wanted a mod where you could play snake levels with the ninja. Or better, mgs1 story with ninja. In a possible remake i wanna sidegameplay with Fox
@@momo_-cu2cq I wanted to play VR missions SO MUCH after hearing you can play as Cyborg ninja... AND it's three missions in same room. Dx Then in MGS2 we only got a sword for final level... until now when someone made a mod to play entire game with the HF blade (yes, even Tanker chapter).

It was so obvious what I didn't include it in video. There are actually a lot of videos showcasing different HF blades in MGR but I didn't found any videos showcasing HF blade in "solid" series. Only for MGS2 maybe.

I don't know why they made Rising: Revengeance, judging by the gameplay from MGS4, Solid: Rising would of been really good, stealth didn't look bad on Cyborg Raiden.
I hope someone will make Raiden mod for MGS4 singleplayer so we can see cyborg Raiden in action.

Rising does still have some "Stealth" on it that you can do, but the game isn't very much made for these mechanics
Because they went for the hack and Slash spin off and they nailed It perfectly. Its not a metal gear solid game and thats Fine, its a spin off with different gameplay.

I didn't know that HF Blade was in MGS4 and Portable Ops. It's lame that metal gear online's server has shutted down
You can play MGO2 now on RPCS3 (PS3 emulator on PC) or on PS3 via MG02PC servers created by the community.
Also HF blade in MGS4 and Portable Ops controls differently from MGS2. Instead of tilting stick vertically, horizontally or rotating it you just press trigger button to make a combo and you can do stab attack by holding trigger button.

@@Silvasbullet I don't know about MGS5 online. I only know what MGS4 online servers was closed some time ago and now you can play it via MGO2PC server.
