Here's the problem, and this comes from experience in a REAL work place. If she was a responsible employee, she wouldn't even look at her phone until AFTER work or during a lunch break. If she (or he) is looking at their phone, they wouldn't be working for me. Our society is !@#$ed.

I said ok no worries, and didn’t text her. But then the following day I found out she blocked me on Instagram… and she actually went out with someone else. I called her out pretty much saying “how can I trust if you block me on your social media etc”. And she sent me a similar message as that girl did : “you are nice but better to leave things like this”. Now we were not exclusive, so I told her that I wasn’t upset if she was seeing someone else too. I was angered by the lie she told me and by her blocking me on social media. I don’t know if this behavior could fall in the insecurities category, but after I called her out, she left me. My behavior killed the attraction, but at the same time I couldn’t let this go by, I can’t let someone lie to me and playing me around.
The woman in this story ( around the 11 minute mark) exemplifies the way every woman should act. She was opening doors for this guy and he totally screwed it up. She was being candid throughout. Many times women flake, ghost, are unclear and it causes a guy to react needy clingy etc as he is getting no clear message. Give me a focused, communicative woman who acts like this and there would never be problems. She is even gracious at the end. She is gonna be clear whether she wants you or not and the rest is up to you to screw up or not.

A girl I've been seeing for 2 months cancelled our date 3 days before. Her friends wanted to get together with her for some biking and volleyball. I hated this, but had to play it cool. I said, no worries, this gives me time to work on a side project. It was a two day event and I'm doing everything in my power not to communicate with her during this time. We've been seeing each other once per week. We are not exclusive and we are still not sleeping with each other BUT we have intense make out sessions and our talks are fantastic. How was he supposed to know that his cry for attention would turn her off? How was he supposed to know that saying "What if I don't feel in need of a break?" would come off as needy. This is why it was a misunderstanding, even though she never explicitly stated that she wasn't interested in him he misunderstood her messages by thinking that they implied that they were saying she's not interested which is what he meant by "between the lines." In other words his phrase "between the lines" was his way of saying "your messages implied." He didn't know that his texts would come off to her as being needy or too emotional, and she didn't know that her texts would come off to him as pretending to be interested just to be polite. When she said "Wow, I never said that I didn't want to see you" he didn't want to believe her at first but then a week later he came to realize that she really had wanted to see him and that he had misinterpreted her texts. That's how he knew there had been a misunderstanding (oh she really did want to see me and wasn't just pretending), when he realized that he had misunderstood her. Since he finally realized that there had been a misunderstanding, he thought that telling her that and having them talk about it in person would solve the problem. I know he messed up but when he said that there was a misunderstanding and proposed that they talk about it in person he just wanted to resolve the problem. Because of what you said I have come to realize that he pushed her away but she still should've accepted his offer to meet with him in person because at that point it was obvious that he just wanted to fix the problem.
No. She is not his therapist and doesn’t owe him anything. He absolutely should know better. I do. The man needs to be direct, decisive, and basically operate on the assumption that she wants to be with him. Pure and simple. The man in this case is acting like a woman- a big turn off.

I use phrases like this one: "I want all of my beloved ones to be happy. So I also want you to be happy too." It is very direct in telling her that you like her, but also not too direct to scare her away. Also there is this notion about happiness, which conveys that you are a reasonable and healthy adult with a positive attitude. If she doesn't want that, it honestly is her own fault.
