Congratulations on your new purchase! I have had my T120 Black for over five years now. And I still stare at it like if it were the first day. Ride safe.
Thanks Gough, that is reassuring (5 years) and I think this one is a keeper. Only 50 miles on the clock at the mo but, the warmer weather comes next week so I am told 😬
I have a 2019 and had it from new yes it is a fantastic bike but it can be improved. Change the tyres for Avon road riders decat it fit Tec bike parts front springs rear shocks to Hagon a booster plug and DNA air filter this might seem a lot but the transformation is worth it. With the Lomo panniers go for the ones with the moly system on the back I also have those and they are great. Happy riding. I live in North Wales and it is a lovely bike for around here.👍👍
Hi William. Thanks for this info. Riding the T120, with the rear shocks on lowest setting, it does feel quite hard. Tried it with a light pillion the other day and not much difference. Are you saying the Hagons make it a smoother ride or have you had different experiences? Lomo's, that's good advice 👍
When you order the adjustable you state your weight and that should be your lowest setting you have a further two adjustments for when you carry luggage or a pillion I left my rebound at mid point I find they operate a lot smoother and track the road surface better. The change at the front to progressive springs from TEC bike parts helps with fork dive under braking. Decat and A.+D filter help it breath better.I am no expert but I have been around bikes for fifty five years.👍
@@williamjones6478 Agree with all the above, decat (a good smooth one like Motone), filter, and certainly progressive fork springs (TEC?) help no end. Next for me are tyres to change.....
Hi Just found your channel, ive exactly got the same bike / colour as yours , got it last September, put 1000miles on it until the weather changed then in the Garage for the winter, done another 1000 miles this year . Will be following your channel ftom now on .
Hi Des, welcome to the channel and thanks for following. It's a great bike and don't forget, the channel are inviting subscribers to Tenerife with Tenerife on Triumph this year and next year. Would be great to see you join the team 👍
Hi there I have a T120 it's fabulous to ride so smooth great clutch lots of torque just a great looking all round bike and to answer your question I've not had anyone pull out on me in the last year and a half since buying the bike it has a great daytime headlight so I think you have just been unlucky in that respect and I'm sure you will continue to enjoy your new T120 and hope you don't have that problem in the future cheers mick
Hi Ellen, I think when I was riding the bike earlier in ownership, I was riding in the rush hour - which I usually do not. Now I am riding at my usual time in the day, I find the problem has disappeared however, I do ride with either dip or high beam pending on where i am riding and the time of day etc.
I have toured with a T120. It does not have any wind or rain protection. Even adding a screen does not really help. There is still a wind noise on my helmet. I get that if you are not touring , T120 is a better option
Hi Mike, thanks for the positive comment 👍. I am sure you will have a great time on the T120. I find, everytime I ride it, it just gets better - like a fine wine😆. Tell; all of us what you think of your new T120 👍
Yes, congratulations on your recent purchase! I, myself just purchase the same bike 2024 T120 black & white fusion yesterday. It will be ready in about a week. I've heard so many good things about the Bonnevilles and that was a real confidence builder. I simply love the retro styling but with modern day conveniences. I'm in Canada and paid $16,190 CAD which included a centre stand, long haul windscreen and black dresser bars. I traded in a 2020 Kawasaki Versys 650 with 15000KM and got $6000.00 trade in. I'm really looking forward to riding this beautiful looking machine. Thank you for your comments and enjoy many years of happy riding! Cheers. P.S. I've had a few close calls over the years of riding but considering all, it's been fine. Although, one must always ride like you're invisible to other vehicles, defensive riding is a must.
Hi KR, great, you have bought a wonderful bike. You will not regret this from the limited mileage I have performed to date. Another video comes out in the next 12 hours so keep your eyes out. Yes, defensive riding is the right approach. Just imagine you are invisible, which to a lot of folk, you are!!!
I own a 2022 T120, I’ve ridden and raced mx all my life (still do at the grand age of 47😂) so I am more into mx bikes than road. But saying that I absolutely love my T120, it’s a fantastic bike that just does everything you want it to do. Bags of power, rides 2 up like it’s nothing. Stunning to look at. Comfortable for long days. And my wife loves coming on the back for rides out and lunches. It really is a fantastic machine in appearance and performance
This is great to hear. MX at 47 - you take care!!! The T120 is one of those bikes that simmer in the background. But, this is bike is more than just the looks and engine. It is a great practical machine.
Hi Geoff, what a coincidence. I think you will find the T120 just gets better and better. I have just returned from 2700 miles around Europe on my T120, and I can say.......wonderful!!!
Just bought a new T120 and I'm new to Triumph. Have owned 20 or so bikes Japanese and HD. My first Triumph and to be honest after 400 miles I'm not sure I'm in love. Hopefully it will grow on me as it breaks in. I'm on the fence about the heat off the engine, the pain of chain adjustments (removing right muffler) and engine power output.
hi Deb / Ken, We done on the purchase of your new T120 👍. I hope you enjoy the ride as much as I do. The chain......I think the chain is over engineered for the bike. I have done 4400 miles and the chain does not nee adjusting - and, I have been playful with that super torquey engine 😆. Give the chain plenty of lube every 300 miles and I think it wont need adjusting for quite a while. I suspect 4 mins to take off the right hand silencer, adjust, and 4 mins back on for the silencer. Keeps you out of trouble when the rain comes down 😆
Put aux lights on my 2023 t120. 4 inch with yellow led bulbs, mounted on the drop bars. Since that people don't seem to pull out or pull in front of me as much. Went 150 miles other day without any instances! T120 is a great bike and a far cry from my 1960 Bonny that I started with many many years ago. Have had mine over a year and no issues just fun. Sure you will enjoy yours.
I am already in love Ralph. It's turning out to be the right choice. Aux lights - thats a good idea. Today, I have been riding with my high beam on (in the daylight of course) and this seems to be working. Get the odd flash from oncoming traffic but that's no major problem - sort of proves that they could see me 😆
I purchased a T120 last August brand new and have 9,400 mi on it now. I've owned over 40 motorcycles of all different brands and styles and this is my favorite by far. It does everything. I have a quick detach windshield, upper and lowers, from a company in Florida called Madstad. I have two bright yellow driving lights mounted to the forks and no one ever pulls out in front of me.
I have a 2023 T120 and am thinking of switching to the Tiger 900 GT PRO. The main reason is because I don’t like speeds above 65 mph on the T120 for long periods of time due to lack of wind protection. Adding a windshield large enough to make a difference would kill the aesthetics IMO. I assume the Tiger would also be much better for some light off-reading, which I would like to start doing. But for all the positives of the T120 that you described, it kills me to get rid of the T120. Do you really think the T120 is going to be a good highway cruiser? Where I live in the southwest in the USA, the average speed on the highway is 75 and above. At those speeds the T120 stops being fun.
Both the tiger 900 and the T1 20 are great bikes. Both of the bikes can go exactly where each other can go. You could easily take the T1 20 off road. However, I have not but I could. With a good screen, the T1 20 will easily do 80 mph all day and it is reasonably relaxing for the rider.and it is reasonably relaxing for the rider. I rode all the way from the UK to Austria on the T120 and it was wonderful. That said, I took the tiger 900 all over Europe on a couple of occasions and it was perfect. It really depends on what you want from the bike. Both bikes are great for touring. And I guess both bikes are great off-road as well. It doesn't need to look like an adventure bike to take it off road.
@@bankruptpensioner I agree that the T120 will do 80 mph all day long and the engine will purr but without wind protection, that will not be relaxing for the rider. I could ride across the USA on the T120 at 65 mph and below.
I love the two tone tank colours. I know that Moto UK has one and he really likes his. I think a few European trips would be a good starting point after runing in but the main thing is go easy on those local trips. As you have mentioned in the past, try to stay shiny side up and take good care out there.
I've been going back and forth on what bike to buy next, after a move to Wales. Presently I have a basic 2012 Bonnie with 865 CC and 67HP, and often want for more power (I have had a lot of bikes with more HP and similar weight). I understand the 120 has a bit more power, is it worth stepping up to the larger Bonnie? Oddly enough I have also been considering a Tiger 900 GT PRO. As you say though, is it too much faff to move around and overly complicated. Cheers, enjoy your Bonnie.
Hi Carl, I have had a few 865's. These are great bikes. The T120 rides just like the 865, but on steroids 😆. Go test ride one from the local dealer. I am sure you will see the differences quickly 😆
I have set my T120 as a mini-tourer for UK trips buying whatever I can cheap off eBay as I also have a "proper" tourer for trips abroad (and my better half says that the Triumph is not as comfy in comparison). Triumph Touring screen is stupidly expensive and too small (bought very cheap off eBay), but the mounting system is impressively solid - I'm about to get a custom screen priced up. I have a Givi rack and pannier frames (eBay again) as I don't get peace of mind with throw-overs . Scottoiler X-system. Fehling crash-bars and Bikeviz auxiliary lights (the latter great for being seen in super-impatient London traffic). King and Queen seat is very comfortable. Combined Voltmeter, Outside Temperature and USB port mounted on the bars (I didn't get on with trailing a long wire from the USB port under the seat) I also installed a tubeless tyre conversion from Central Wheel Components as I was afraid of the consequences of a puncture miles from anywhere on the Northern Coast of Scotland. Since mine is a 2019 model, I have a centre-stand and heated grips but no cruise control. I'm looking forward to a week's mini-tour in Wales soon. As you know the T120 is a brilliant bike for going slowly, enjoying the countryside and "smelling the roses". Enjoy! I know you think the Goldstar is also brilliant but how are you going to decide which one to take out for a spin?
Hi John, thanks for the comprehensive list. There are some things for me to think about here - especially the conversion to tubeless - great idea. I am now thinking do I go Lomo throw over or givi rack (like you have done). I suspect, based on security, the givi solution is the way forward. I have taken the scottoiler off my Tiger and intend to put on the T120 - they are great simple solutions although overpriced maybe. I shall consider your recommendations 👍
Hello, Just a note about your new "Bonnie", a few of our Triumph Owners have the same and do tour with them, but on one occasion , a guy had a rear wheel puncture and that was his day and trip over, while waiting on a recovery vehicle. i.e. "tubed tyres" which would put me off these days. Having said that, he was in the minority of all twin owners..
Congratulations with new bike. I think everybody is going to pull out in front of me, bike, car or truck. People just do not look or think, I drive a large pick up truck most days and people still want to pull out. Enjoy new bike and I do enjoy the British scenery rides. Our plan to tour around UK and Europe when I retire in a few years.
The Tiger 900 GT Pro is one of the 5 or 6 bikes I'm considering for my next and only bike as I enter retirement. The T120 is not among those, but I keep going back to take another look at it. That should tell me something. I'm a simple rider and am attracted to the simplicity of the T120, especially compared to the bikes I'm considering. Riding in the western US where it can be 100+ degrees, many miles between towns, and interstate riding can be a necessary evil at times, I would've bought one years ago if it had tubeless wheels, effective wind management, and a slightly bigger tank. Despite missing those features, I have to admit I'm more attracted to that bike than any other.
Hey Mark, go test ride a T120. That said, the Tiger is great - it's just getting to much for me to handle without the fear or dropping it whilst I man handle it around the garage etc. Other than that, the Tiger is perfect - but the simplicity of the T120 brings things back to simpler times where you kept your eyes on the road, rather than the LCD display 👍
@@bankruptpensioner I test rode a T120 in 2017. I liked it but I don't think I was ready for it then. Now a bit older and retired, the nature of my riding is changing and I have to admit a T120 is more appropriate for me than any ADV, sport tourer, or tourer. I ride to enjoy the scenery rather than for speed or hitting apexes, so I would end up riding a Tiger, GS, or Goldwing just as I would a T120. Maybe that's why I keep revisiting the T120.
Probably a bit less road presence than an ADV bike like the Tiger 900 and a bit less in the way of daytime running lights having the single DRL rather than the spread of the Tigers across the width of the bike headlights leading to less overall 'visibility' than you had before. Let me know which machine you're ignoring next and I can help out lol. Lovely machine, enjoy 👍
In 2008 i was knocked off my bike by a BMW car coming out of a side road and broke my ankle and a couple of ribs. She said she didn't see me, lame excuse, but I was wearing a black leather jacket with a black helmet. I now wear a white helmet with a jacket that's colourful with fluorescent highlights. I want to be seen not fashionable now. Love the bike it looks the bee's knees one you will look back at when you park it up, unlike the Tiger, and far less complicated.
Nothing worse Ian, thank a knock off. Not seeing you (or me or us) is a poor excuse but apparently, people simply do not see the bike. The brain fills in what they want to see. However, that is no good when you have been flipped over and over. Fashion (my 25 year old son) is the rage. Better to be seen that not I say 👍
@@bankruptpensioner the triumph bar ends are expensive but you will be able to fit them in 10 minutes without needing a degree in rocket science..don’t forget the 2 caps that fit on the end…another £30 but essential.
Congratulations Rich what a stunning machine, I test rode the T120 black a few years ago and loved it , I've just sold my Tiger sport as I was finding it top heavy and mauling to manoeuvre around at at slow speed and pushing, I did think about replacing it with the T120 but wasn't sure how it would be for touring etc , so I've been looking at the Tiger 900 GT pro but again they too are a little top heavy, you've definitely given me food for thought again and a T120 would look nice parked up with my interceptor 650 ,I'll be interested in your views in your up and coming vids , stay safe out there and enjoy 👍🏼
Hi Dale, simples 😆, go test ride one. The T120 is just so simple that it just seems to work. I will be getting it ready for Austria in June and I am sure all will be just right (as long is it does not rain too much) 😆
What a lovey bike , great looks , great engine ,make sure the runnings lights are on next time you ride 😏but we all have days when people pull out on us 👍
I couldnt hit the like button enough, well done BP on a great new bike. I'm would also go for a classic over a ADV bike these days. Cheers, Sean EDIT: nice you got the cruise control on there and like you say it's very simple to operate...
Hey Sean, good to hear from you. When you are back in the UK, come borrow the T120 for a week or two - that assumes that you are coming back at some point 😆. Everything is much simpler on this bike (just like the BSA) and i have noticed that I am looking at the road more (which is good) rather than keeping an eye on the space invader screen 😆
I think you will really enjoy the T120 bought mine new in 2018 still got it, it’s a keeper local runs & touring no problem , few mods done to make it my own
Hey my friend- I simply love your new bike. That's the one bike that I never purchased; but should have. I'm now @ an age & too many bikes already, that makes it not prudent to buy one. Your right about keeping it simple. Recently, your Brit colleague (mindful motorcyclist) had a video entitled (affordable throw over saddlebags for my modern retro). The bags are called Nicecnc. Find his video & he has a link that will hook you up to the product. Hell- @ $110.00 I don't see how you can go wrong! Cheers!! Illinois, USA
Hey Larry, You should get one 😆. Never too old 👍 Luggage os on the list. I have to take into account that the weather here in Blighty is awful (reminds me of the ex-wifes cooking 😆). I shall look into those pannier 👍
Very nice bike like the colour, I did fancy one as a friend of mine has one but in the end thought it was a bit small for me and went for the Tiger Sport 660.
great bike part ex my triumph bobber for one ,love the 120 better ride for old boy like me . taken a lot of weight off 2 into 1 exhaust etc as shown in Dell boys garage
That's a good idea Micheal, 2-1. The exhaust probably have so much mass that they generate their own gravitational field. Mmmmm - I should consider this change 👍
I have a Tiger GT 900 for touring and a Speedmaster Bonneville for days out and now considering a single ‘all-round’ bike both to reduce costs and give me more garage space. I am also considering the T120 - I had one before and regretted selling it - equipped for touring. Adding a screen, GIvi aluminium panniers (for security) and upgraded shocks. Although the Tiger had everything I need I find it difficult to manoeuvre when parking etc and somewhat too heavy. I would miss the 20 litre capacity tank though.
I had a T120 green and gray 2022 Goldline Edition. The bike is a peach 🍑. Lovely. I hope that what happened with you wasn’t what I felt that happened with my riding of the bike. I felt that it’s road presence wasn’t so effective as a taller bike was. I think, maybe a taller bike is more visible to car drivers . I n several occasions, it happened during the year I had been riding the T-120. But at the same time, it could be related to the phenomenon you’ve told. The rush hour. Now I own a 1200 Scrambler XE and in general everyone sees it. That’s why I think that for car drivers a taller bike can be easier to spot… it’s not a certainty, is just my guessing, but I have the impression that height of the bike matter and of course volume in general . For me personally, a taller bike allows a different vision in traffic and maybe it turns out to be true for the other road users. All and all we’ve got to be very sharp and concentrated once riding a bike as traffic becomes more and more intense everyday and people seem to be a lot stressed everywhere. The margin for calculation errors on safety and defensive riding is narrower from what it was 10 years ago, to give a number and an exemple of my thought. Simple is good but not always better. It should be but sometimes, isn’t. 👍🏻
Hi Fernando, I have been riding today in the day time - with the high beam on. This seems to work. I never had this problem with the Tiger and you are probably right, presence is the word. I am going to have to think about this more and do some tests - in the rush hour 😆
@@bankruptpensionerthat test you’re doing is an indication! When I felt less “respect” on the road by car drivers, I immediately shared the worry with the sales team at my Dealership and they had a symptomatic reaction, first silence and then they didn’t deny the “claim”😂. That was answering enough for me to start looking for a solution. I can’t change the world, but in can change my situation and I did it.👌🏻
Brilliant !! I do enjoy this channel, more so now with this addition. I guess your previously mentioned second hand deal did not come to fruition. Like yourself I have three bikes A T120, T100, and Street Twin. I know, I know, I love them all and they have distinctly different characters. We all know the formula for optimal bike ownership number, n+1 😉😀 I keep looking at the gap in my garage and think I could fit a BSA in there, or a four hundred four, or an RD 350, great minds and all that. I am quite surprised how many people DO see me on the Triumph’s, that’s working on the assumption that no one sees me of course, very few ‘pull outs’. I am a white helmet, high viz guy, whether that helps or not I do not know, I realise it is a contentious subject. Just out of interest do you fly as well ? Your plane spotting skills seemed very good. ENJOY your fantastic new acquisition 😀😀😀😀😀
Hi Mark, good to know that you are enjoying the channel. I sometimes need this reassurance to make sure the content is entertaining and informative. Having three bikes is great BUT, another would be superb. It's like an addiction. I used to fly. Packed that in in 2003 and that was a huge mistake. Had I continued, my boys would have followed in my footsteps but they now do their own stuff - which is good I suppose. The weather will soon warm up - T120 every day then :)
Nice bike the T120....very good move. As said previously, I'd maybe add a couple of small led marker lights up front, to add to presence a bit. Safe rides mate on your new bike....🏍👏☀️🤙🍻
I think good decision and great colour choice I was looking at one of them when I took the rocket in for 1st service this week I want another triumph in the garage but can’t decide which one but the t120 does look promising take care ride safe
not sure on that however, due to the simplicity of the T120, I will do that myself. And......it is not needed until 20k miles - which is good news compared to the Tiger which is every 12k miles
@@stanleylawson9015 Hi Stan, this is applicable to the UK (maybe other countries but I do not know about them). A few years ago, a new consumer right law (and it is a law - not just a guide) came abouts that allows owners to service products themselves without impact to warranty. This law change was due to the fact that people were servicing objects (washing machines, computers, cars, etc etc) and loosing their rights to warranty offerings. Even thought evidence from those was documented to confirm the fix or service was performed in a competent way. So, now, you can perform your own servicing etc as long as the parts are genuine etc etc. And the service is documented (video). As such, you can save hundred by doing it yourself. Just keep all the receipts and note the mileage and dates etc. Does this help?
Brilliant. A man after my own heart. A fair bit of "man maths" going on there me thinks🤔 You'd never get away with that logic with my missus. God knows I've tried. Enjoy your new bike mate. Ride safe👍
I have the T100. Great all round bike. I have ridden both T120 and T100 and found the T100 was the “sweet spot” for me. But that’s just personal preference. I also had a Tiger 800 in the past and much prefer the Bonnie. Enjoy your T120 and look forward to hearing about your adventures!
To be honest you take your life in your hands driving around Stoke at any time of the day. The standard of driving and the state of the roads is shocking and not getting any better unfortunately. I had a demonstrator from Staffordshire Triumph when the Tiger was in for its MOT and service, lovely bike but felt tiny.
I think all towns since covid have plumeted in driving quality. A year off the road for many was not a good thing. And since the lockdown ended, the quality of driving has remained ver low. I agree - the T120 is a tiny bike compared to the Tiger, which is a great machine and I do miss mine. 👍
Stunning bike, I'm looking to change my tiger 800 for one as the wife is happy to go pillion on the T120 (I may regret that 😂) good deals at the moment on these. Look forward to see how you get on, did you try thr T100?
Hi Alan - the T120 will be perfect for the missus, so you may well want to stick with the Tiger 😆. I have had the Bon 865 SE, same as the T100, and they are wonderful. I have had about 4 or 5 of them in various countries around the world. They are great and i have never had a problem with any of them. Even riding on the heat of 55c in Qatar, no problems
Interesting choice of bike. Would love to have a ride on it. Definitely more usable on a day to day basis than the Tiger, I would guess. Some aspects bear an uncanny resemblance to my former (real) T120 Bonnie. I just hope the problems have been ironed out in the last half-century. You seem confident that those carbox cowboys didn't see you. Maybe they saw you and just didn't give a monkey's. So if improved visibility is not the solution, then what is?
Hopefully more usable yes. Went for a quick spin this morning and so easy to man handle compared to the Tiger. That said, the Tiger is great. you maybe right. Maybe they just didn't care. I have never thought about that one. Mmmmm........I shall have a think about that. Improvement on visibility has been proven to be a waste of time. Hence, Police motorcycles still get knocked off their bikes. It is how the brain works, and fills in the details of what it thinks should be the view from the eye. When people say "I didn't see you", they really didn't see you. Interesting subject

@@bankruptpensioner Look up "Saccades". This explains how one has to stop the movement of one's head to the side at junctions in order to see clearly. A swift movement of the head without momentarily fixing one's gaze does not cut it.
I've had cars pull out on me on my T120, I think it maybe the daylight running light, now use dipped all the time, I took mine through France and the pyrenees to costa brava, did 4k in the first year, love it Check out Stuart Fillingham for cleaning of engine cases , they do take some looking after, always run mine on super unleaded and silkolene oil, hope you,ve got a centre stand as the chain requires lubrication every 250 miles
Hi Wayne. Thats a good point, I was on daytime lights. I shall try dipped or even high beam. I do not have a centre stand however, I am on the lookout for one. Give me a couple of weeks and i should have one fitted - best thing since sliced bread 😆
Love the T120. Beautiful bike. These days people are in their own little world and not paying attention.
Decat and A.+D filter help it breath better.I am no expert but I have been around bikes for fifty five years.👍
Definitely fit Avon road rider tyres
@@williamjones6478 Agree with all the above, decat (a good smooth one like Motone), filter, and certainly progressive fork springs (TEC?) help no end. Next for me are tyres to change.....

I've just traded in my Tiger 900 GT Pro for a T120 Black at Youles Manchester, absolutely no regrets!
Hi Geoff, what a coincidence. I think you will find the T120 just gets better and better. I have just returned from 2700 miles around Europe on my T120, and I can say.......wonderful!!!
@@bankruptpensioner really really happy with this bike, it’s got so much character 😁
Great choice fantastic bike. Love to see you touring on it.
The touring is about to start 👍
Get the odd flash from oncoming traffic but that's no major problem - sort of proves that they could see me 😆
Congratulation on the new bike, enjoy the ride.
thanks Mark 👍
I purchased a T120 last August brand new and have 9,400 mi on it now. I've owned over 40 motorcycles of all different brands and styles and this is my favorite by far. It does everything. I have a quick detach windshield, upper and lowers, from a company in Florida called Madstad. I have two bright yellow driving lights mounted to the forks and no one ever pulls out in front of me.
I love the Madstad windshield on my Tiger 800, but I've read mixed reports on its effectiveness on the T120. How does it work for you?
wow - that's good mileage for sure - I need to catch you up
You have to get the lowers and it works very well. Without the lowers there is turbulence.
I've got a Speed Twin 1200 on order so I'm very interested in mods for touring, especially the screen.
great choice of bike :)
Congrats on the Bonny, love my 2022 T120 Black 👍
Hi Richard, congratulations on your latest purchase, lovely bike. I'm loving my Speedmaster I bought 6 weeks ago. Keep the videos coming sir.
Thanks Sky, the videos will be flowing surely 😆
I love the two tone tank colours. I know that Moto UK has one and he really likes his. I think a few European trips would be a good starting point after runing in but the main thing is go easy on those local trips. As you have mentioned in the past, try to stay shiny side up and take good care out there.
Can't wait to get this on the road in Europe - June I think this year in Austria 👍
Bought a 2017 Triumph T 120 brand new and have owned it now for 7 years. Best bike I’ve ever owned……full stop!
Hey Fly, there is the best statement yet to go get a T120. I am absoloutly loving the bike so far ❤
Combined Voltmeter, Outside Temperature and USB port mounted on the bars (I didn't get on with trailing a long wire from the USB port under the seat)
I also installed a tubeless tyre conversion from Central Wheel Components as I was afraid of the consequences of a puncture miles from anywhere on the Northern Coast of Scotland.
That's an intersting point - and the way forward is to carry a set of inner tubes I guess. It is a long time since I had tubed tyres :)
Great bike and loving it more the more I ride her. When you come over to the UK - get in touch!!!!
I believe you did the right thing, Boneville is a beautiful motorcycle….
she really is :)
Beautiful! If it was mine,I would go with Tripmachine luggage. 🤙🤙 Enjoy that beauty!
I am going to look into this luggage - something with appropriate style 😄
Buy some bar end mirrors for it…unless you like looking at your elbows…I’ve had a t120 2019 bike for a long time…beautiful to ride and a keeper.
Hey Nick, the T120 in Tenerife had bar end mirrors. They are better than the mickey mouse mirrors. They are on the list of things to buy 👍
I will be getting it ready for Austria in June and I am sure all will be just right (as long is it does not rain too much) 😆
What a lovey bike , great looks , great engine ,make sure the runnings lights are on next time you ride 😏but we all have days when people pull out on us 👍
Hey Paul, been riding with High beam on - daylight of course - this seems to work somewhat 😄
Nice retro bike Richard you will love it👍👍
Thanks Robert, I am already in love - I can see she will be costing lots in fuel 😆
I think you will really enjoy the T120 bought mine new in 2018 still got it, it’s a keeper local runs & touring no problem , few mods done to make it my own
Went for a quick ride this morning and she is wonderful. Too good. Easy ride. fingers crossed, I did the right thing in trading in the Tiger 😄
Very nice bike like the colour,
I did fancy one as a friend of mine has one but in the end thought it was a bit small for me and went for the Tiger Sport 660.
Tiger Sport - great bike and good choice 👍
great bike part ex my triumph bobber for one ,love the 120 better ride for old boy like me .
taken a lot of weight off 2 into 1 exhaust etc as shown in Dell boys garage
Hey Paul, it sounds like you are I were in the same dilemma. Hopefully, touring on my T120 will be just as good if not better than the Tiger 😁
It's not called 'rush hour' for nowt, although more like two hours these days.
You are right Mr Brooks, it doesn't last one hour nowadays 😆
Nice bike the T120....very good move.
As said previously, I'd maybe add a couple of small led marker lights up front, to add to presence a bit.
Safe rides mate on your new bike....🏍👏☀️🤙🍻
Thanks a good idea Kevin, a couple of markers to light up the front end.
I loved my T120. Enjoy.
already in love with it - and it just seems to get better and better 😆
Bang On Lad!!! Cheers Graham.
Thanks Graham, she defo worth a good banging 😆
I think good decision and great colour choice I was looking at one of them when I took the rocket in for 1st service this week I want another triumph in the garage but can’t decide which one but the t120 does look promising take care ride safe
OMG Nicolas, the Rocket is a hell of a machine 😆
Goodness so what’s cost of a valve check on the T120?
Lovely bike
not sure on that however, due to the simplicity of the T120, I will do that myself. And......it is not needed until 20k miles - which is good news compared to the Tiger which is every 12k miles
As a new bike how will it effect the warranty, thanks for replying as considering one as my only bike so it’ll need to do everything
@@stanleylawson9015It will be out of warranty when his valve check is done.
Many thanks yes a great help thank you for your time
Brilliant. A man after my own heart. A fair bit of "man maths" going on there me thinks🤔
You'd never get away with that logic with my missus.
God knows I've tried.
Enjoy your new bike mate.
Ride safe👍
Ha ha, and didn't mention the loss on the tiger 900.
Man Maths 😆, never thought about it that way 😆. First things first, remove the missus out of the equation 😆..........only joking 👍
I love All of the Techno stuff my T120 Doesn't have!
I just ride it
That's a great way of putting it 😆
Nice bike gramps 😊
😆, thanks Lee 👍
The T120 is great. I’ve got a 2017 model. But at a quarter of a tonne it’s a big lump (although the weight is low down).
you are right, with the weight low down, it feels lighter than it actually is. It feels like I have made a good choice 😆
Can’t say I ever feel a problem of bike weight on my 22.
Just feels solid and planted.
Yes, the T100 is the sweet spot. Smoother to ride and more nimble as the front wheel is lighter (one disc, one brake caliber).
I prefer dipped head light rather than day time riding light on the T120 I'm fed up hearing " Sorry mate I didn't see you"
So the 'daytime running light' is akin to a pilot light rather than the dipped beam?
Hi Alex, tried on high beam today and this was effective - of course day light hours and it works a treat. 👍
Lovely bike, enjoy 👍
enjoy .

I am 68 years old and I am told by the dragon that I am too old to wear blue jeans. Do you think 68 is to old?
Alan, get a grip (laughing). One is never too old for jeans - they are the staple diet of clothing for the guys :)
I've had cars pull out on me on my T120, I think it maybe the daylight running light, now use dipped all the time, I took mine through France and the pyrenees to costa brava, did 4k in the first year, love it
Check out Stuart Fillingham for cleaning of engine cases , they do take some looking after, always run mine on super unleaded and silkolene oil, hope you,ve got a centre stand as the chain requires lubrication every 250 miles
Hi Wayne. Thats a good point, I was on daytime lights. I shall try dipped or even high beam. I do not have a centre stand however, I am on the lookout for one. Give me a couple of weeks and i should have one fitted - best thing since sliced bread 😆

putting a bike in as p/x says it all does it not ?????????????
