I'm a big lebron fan, but cmon. 2011 mavs weren't in any way a superteam. Those who said that they're a superteam are either stupid, or recent "fans".
I'll remain curious how the newly formed Raptors would have done if Penny Hardaway hadn't left Vince Carter there, perhaps then not getting injured with Orlando. Shaq was breaking the game, making sure traditional bigs would be nerfed by future NBA that dislikes the game being 'physical'.
2016 Warriors in my opinion is not a super team simply because their players were drafted and worked hard to become great. Curry in 2009, Thompson in 2011, Green and Barnes in 2012. They've all been drafted by the franchise instead of being obtained via trade or free agency. Post Kevin Durant warriors you can consider a super team be that as it may.
Cortez Brown i was a gsw fan until KD joined them. Pls don't argue with me, i'm just saying that you already were 73-9 but still signed an MVP superstar. Smh
I consider a superteam a group of players who are superstars that come together. Boston big 3, Miami 3, cavs 3 and post Durant warriors. Team that build their stars internally are not super teams, they are just great players that have gelled. 80s lakers and Celtics, Jordan’s bulls, pre KD warriors and the spurs. Just my take on that. There has to be a line and I agree that not every dominant team is a super team.
That's actually a great point. However, I would add just an extra bit of context. >What I think is the more accurate thing that Dom2k is trying to say is "stacked teams". Super teams are just an even more extreme version of stacked squads. It was very noticeable in the 1980s with Bird and Magic. Teams made many important trades to keep the squad in contention for championships. While players like Isaiah Thomas, Michael Jordan, Karl Malone, Hakeem Olajuwon, Clyde Drexler, Alex English, etc. were stuck on awful squads that went nowhere. >Building your team up internally and turning them into championship contenders was pioneered by the Bad Boy Pistons and popularized by the Chicago Bulls.
X-man ah good call. Forgot to mention the pistons. Those teams in the 80s/90s primarily built from within. None of those stars left to join the other great players of their day and they were able to get over the hump. Kinda cool if you ask me. The only team to build from within today and be successful were the spurs.
s1 not exactly the same. Wilt joined the lakers in 1968-69 season with west and Baylor. But they failed to win any titles and were actually not a powerful team when wilt came over. Durant joined a 73 win team and won two titles right away. It took wilt and those guys 4 years to win one. Also in 1970 and 1971 Baylor only played 11 games combined. So I would say they were an attempt at a super team similar to the 2004 lakers when they lost to the pistons. They did well but failed to meet expectations right away.
s1 oh yea in with ya, they were successful. That 71-72 title team had been together for 5 years: 1 title 4 finals appearances (which was easier to do then). A team I would classify as a super team would do better than 1-3 in finals in 5 years, so were they really that super? So as I said, it was an attempt at one.
Lebron joined the 47 win Heat ALONG WITH Bosh, who averaged 24 and 11 and carried the weak Raptors to the playoffs. We can agree that team plus Bosh wins at least 55 games. So Lebron joined a team that would've been in the ECF at worst, seeing as Wade was still in his prime and almost carried the Heat over the Mavs despite Lebrons dead weight in the Finals
Its a Fact look at the Stats if Lebron just got half of his Averages he normal gets they would have won but Lebron Choked Wade would have won MVP but Wade tho injured failed him 2014 so its even
K, now lets talk about the team when they won rings. Lets not forget 2012 when Lebron had to have legendary performances just so the heat can win. Both Wade and Bosh were consistently injured through out the playoffs. Especially against Boston and the Pacers.
^ Do you honestly think MJ was worth only 2 wins? Other players pick up the slack when someone leaves. Yes they would've won about 55 just adding a prime Bosh to that 47 win team.
I'd say they only made it cause Boston was injured, but definitely wouldn't put them as one of the worst. They had a dominant Dwight and tons of 3pt shooters, almost exactly like what we see today minus the big men
Dom2k I love all your videos and I appreciate all your hard work putting all this videos together and in most cases, like 98% I'm with you on what you say... But... Calling the Dallas Mavericks 2010/11 "not" super team, I have to disagree with you, why? Yes, they had just one All Star player (Dirk) in that year squad, but can we judge on teams by how many players are All Star players that year? Anyway, just a friendly reminder, which players were there in Dallas that year... *Jason Kidd* 16 years in NBA at this moment (2011) Avg: 12.6p / 6.3r / 8.7a (37/yr 8p / 8a ) *Jason Terry* 11 years in NBA Avg: 13.9p/ 2.4r/ 4.0a *Caron Butler* 8 years Avg: 14.1p / 5.0r/ 2.3a *Dirk Nowitzki* 12 years in NBA Avg: 21.8p / 7.8r / 2.5a (23p reg. season / 27.7 p / 8.1r / 2.5a playoffs) *Tyson Chandler* 9 years in NBA Avg: 8.7p / 9.4r / 0.8a (almost 10p/10r that year) *Shawn Marion* 11 years in NBA Avg: 15.2p / 8.7r / 2a *J.J. Barea* years in NBA 4 years in NBA Avg: 8.6p / 2.0r / 3.6a *Pedja (Peja) Stojakovic* 12 years in NBA (2x 3 point contest winner) Avg: 17.0p / 4.7r / 1.8a Let's just add : DeShawn Stevenson, Corey Brewer, Brendan Haywood, Sasha Pavlovic, Brian Cardinal, Ian Mahinmi and few others . . . My point here is... They didn't have LeBron James or Kobe Bryant in team or 3/4 All Star players but they had something that's sometimes better than having just 3 super players and maybe 12 under average players. They have super chemistry in a amazing team full of next hof players. 6, 7 or 8 players with 30+ years, 10+ years in NBA... For me that is also super team. Yes, they are not players like they were in their prime but still, experience is something that's sometimes better... As Dallas Mav's shown us that year...
Yes the cavs are without a doubt a super team. They have the best player in the league in Lebron James. They have two other superstars in Kylie Irving and Kevin love. They also have the most depth and best supporting cast of any other team. They have 3 fantastic shooters to go along with the big 3 in Kyle Korver, Channing frye, and J.R. smith. They have a backup point guard to kyrie in deron Williams who at one point was one of the best players in the league and could easily be the starting pg on most of the teams in the NBA. Just look at his recent 35 point performance when kyrie and Lebron rested. They also have a great rebounder and defenseman in Tristan Thompson. I also think I'm forgetting a couple of people. This can also be shown by the fact that the cavs have the highest payroll in the NBA, no other team costs as much.
Love these videos Dom2k, but i have a question and I'm sure you've been asked this before, but do you think that LeBron can surpass Jordan to be the GOAT?
Chris Wallace If he didn't lose to the Macs and lose 4-1 to the spurs probably would've surpassed him at this point, LeBron would have to go crazy these next few play offs while he still at his best, as the father of time will be knocking on his door soon.
Honestly they weren't. They had one superstar in Curry, one all star in Thompson and one borderline star in Green. All were drafted. Their success was more chemistry than it was an accumulation of talent
Ethiopian Pride - "honestly" No one takes your bandwagon ass seriously. GSW was a super team. They had over powered depth that killed other teams. They have Iggy coming of the bench, they had players like Shaun Livingston, Barbosa etc... that can be starters on other teams. No to mention they had Bogut and Draymond who are elite defensive bigs. People were saying Draymond should've won DPOY in 2015.
jay j none of them were considered superstars tho. That team was a "team" in every sense of the word. In fact it's the only team good of a superstar that has won a title that I can think of.
I'm a big lebron fan, but cmon. 2011 mavs weren't in any way a superteam. They just had the best playoff run in the history in my opinion and every one stepped-up to prove they can beat anyone whether it's a superteam or not. Those who said that they're a superteam are either stupid, or recent "fans".
I totally agree. The mavs had no other established stars (at that time) on that team. Most of the main players outside of dirk were either at the end or past their primes. I would put the 1995 rockets as best playoff run ever. 6th seed took the title by taking down 4 teams that averaged a hair under 60 wins each.
If the 04 Lakers weren’t broken up after the season, they’d have won it all in 2005. But a reason they were broken up was because it was so exhausting, dealing with Kobe’s rape case, Shaq and Kobe beef, Malone’s injury, Phil Jackson’s retirement. They were spent.
Actually both lebron and bosh to heat was not like KD to warriors. Both of them was in a sign and trade in which cavs received 3 1st round and 2 2nd round and a chance of swapping that didn't get executed, raptors received two first and one of them turned out it be their now starting center so it's not like cavs and raps didn't get anything for return unlike thunder just completely gave up KD.
lakers had a super team with kobe , pau , artest, a Bynum that still wanted to play and lamar in his prime off the bench this team kept 2 50 win Denver squads from making noise in the playoffs back to back while winning the chip back to back , also the spurs are a clear superteam but in the through the draft kind of definition you touched on
Why should we expect Cleveland to be good without LeBron when their entire gameplan revolves around LeBron? That doesn't make them not a superteam. Of course Cleveland would be a playoff team without him if they had a few months to practice and develop a gameplan. They definitely are IMO. 2016 Warriors are debatable. Klay probably isn't good enough to make them qualify. 2017 Warriors are the most talented team in history, and absolutely a superteam. Draymond Green is a superstar. Curry + Durant + Draymond is _by far_ the best big three in NBA history.
Dino Spumoni I wouldn't say NBA history cuz they haven't accomplished much yet. MJ,Pippen, Rodman Lebron, Wade,Bosh But I do think in few years they would be up there.
Dino Spumoni - on paper, they should win games but that doesn't translate to wins. They are lost on defense and offense without Lebron. The cavs have too many holes on offense and defense and they only have two ball handlers. The Spurs, warriors, and clippers are more stacked talent wise than the cavs. We all know without Lbj Kyrie would be just like the Kemba Walker on the hornets : make it on SC top 10 every night but he wouldn't win anything tangible. Most of their stars are injury prone (love and Irving) and the cavs role players are all above 30 years old. Cavs are an above average team with the greatest player ever (imo). You witnessed the past finals, it was basically a two man team vs the warriors.
+CR7 GOAT Like I said, the holes in their defense and especially offense revolves around the fact that their entire playstyle is built around maximizing LeBron's effectiveness. When LeBron is on the bench or resting, the Cavs collapse. But my point is, let's say LeBron, God forbid, was injured for the entirety of next season. If the Cavs had the offseason to construct a new playbook and new play style, they'd be a really solid team. Obviously not championship contenders, but they'd be an easy playoff team, maybe 4-6 seed, maybe capable of winning in the first round. Love would be the first option, we saw what kind of numbers he put up in Minnesota. And with all these recent acquisitions (Korver, Bogut, DWill) they might be the deepest team in the league. I agree with you that LeBron is possibly the greatest player ever, but I think you're underestimating the talent level of the rest of the team. Taking into account the recent acquisitions this is without a doubt the most talented team LeBron's been on.
There's a such thing as retrospective super teams , for example some of the early 90's teams were LOADED with players that wouldn't become big stars until they were later traded or grew into their roll . Imo TLC was a super team Tim Hardaway , Latrell Spreewell , Chris Mullen , .
well I put it like this: there is a difference between a "Big 3" (or 4) and a "superteam"....in a way every team has a big 3=your 3 best players on the team. But they may not necessarily be a "super team", which is a team of all-stars with monster stats joined together on one team. this could be 2 or more players that are held at that regard..a super team can be put together or develop together
The way I look at it, from the modern nba the super team era has existed since the beginning of the nba. The Celtics of the 60s had a bunch of hall of famers but they were all drafted or traded same with the lakers and Celtics and bulls of the 90s. Then you have the type of super teams like the 2004 lakers where they had two past their prime guys joining the team. Then there was the 2008 Celtics where it was 3 players who were at the back end of their primes. Then you have the 2011-2014 heat where all 3 guys were in their absolute prime. Then you got the warriors where it’s 4 players in their prime. The evolution just keeps going
Good video, and I agree with you, the Warriors are a super team, but they truly built it themselves trough the draft (Klay, Steph, Dray, etc...) and then signed KD in free agency which was his desicion to join theml I can understand people complaining about his move, I don't wanna go into that argument. My point is that they didn't fool any team with trash deals like the D-Cousins trade. I'm really happy for hi to leave shitty Sacramento, but for real what kind of trade is that (still better than what the Thunder got for KD...), or a couple of draft picks like the Raptors got for Bosh... I'm not sure if I explained my point clearly enough...
I consider a super team a team that was constructed by adding all-stars or super stars. I don't consider the 16 Warriors a super team. I don't know about Cleveland, because they did add K Love and added back Lebron, but Lebron did develop on Cleveland, I'm leaning toward yes the 17 Cavs are a super team though, no doubt they are great I don't really care how we classify them.
Pistons picked up Mark Aguire in 1988 (traded Dantly... added Aguire to Isaiah, Laimbeer, Rodman and Dumars). The year prior he was the man and had been a elite player in Dallas for 8 seasons. And no matter how the teams were formed... having Bird, McHale, Scott and Parish... or... Magic, Worthy and Kareem means that you have a pair super duper teams. Before adding Payton and Malone... there was this guy named Glen Rice who helped the Lakers win the 1st title of their 3Pete. He left because he wasn't a big fan of Kobe's shot selection.
The 1998-99 Lakers were a super team. At one point they had Shaq, young Kobe, Glenn Rice and Dennis Rodman, but never gelled together because of chemistry issues. The next year they were also like a super team with the same pieces except for Rodman and with a super coach like Phil Jackson.
Great video. However I think with the editions of Deron Williams, Andrew Bogut and Derrick Williams the Cavs are the best team on paper. Outside of Livingston and Iggy the Warriors have a pretty sub-par bench. Can't blame them but the Cavs are ridiculous right now
"To make this short and sweet, Golden State is the fantasy team you make on NBA Association Mode when you're tired of getting slapped by the Hall of Fame Computer." 😂😂😂 LMAAOO
by my definition, the difference between teams like the bulls and superteams is that the players on the bulls weren't superstars in the league when they joined the bulls and they were building a team from scratch. a superteam is (In my opinion) when a team gathers already established superstars (Kevin durant, LeBron James, etc) and goes into the season expecting to get far from day 1
Paul George in the Pelicans might be a great idea given what happened in the first round of the Playoffs against the Cavs. With two Big men with a wide range but who can also defend and attack the rim anytime, PG won't have to worry about losing bc of a guy who tried to hit the game-winning shot but failed.
The most iconic super team for me was the 2011-2014 Miami Heat, I have so many memories of their incredible flashy plays, they were like a modern day showtime Lakers. I'm from Florida so all my favorite teams kinda sucked but that heat team made basketball my favorite sport
Franklin Clinton he went to Miami because he didn't have help in Cleveland because the owner didn't give him any. Also lebron don't need wade to win seeing he won in Cleveland
I would have liked for you to comment on how the 2000 Orlando Magic tried to make a super team in the offseason when they signed Tracy McGrady, and Grant Hill, and then tried to lure Tim Duncan to join them when he hit free agency, to make that T Mac, G Hill, and T Duncan Orlando Magic powerhouse. Of course it went down hill when Grant kept getting hammered by injuries. Also you might wanna look at the 2004-05 Timberwolves. I dont know if you would call Garnett, Sprewell, and Cassell a Super Team, or the 99 Knicks with LJ, Patrick Ewing, and Sprewell a Super Team, but those are 2 teams with 3 All Star players that tried to make a run at it, and with 2 of the 3 not originally being with that team its debatable.
Also the Clippers had a few runs at Super Team status in the past with Odom, Olowokandi, Kaman, Cassell, Q Rich, D Miles, and the like. The flirted with Super Team Status a couple of times from 2000-2006
A superteam is a team formed by acquiring established superstar players in their prime the *easy way* (i.e. not via draft or trade) and basically avoiding the mechanisms of league parity. The 90's Bulls & Rockets, the 80's Celts and Lakers, and even the '07 Celtics, are NOT superteams, they're just strong teams formed via actual team-building. Remember that the Celtics gave up almost their entire roster to acquire KG and Ray Allen.

Agreed. Only true Warriors fans know that it wasn't an overnight process. Anyways, thanks so much for replying! Keep up the great work!

The greatest Super Team divorce: Kevin Durant, Russell Westbrook, & James Harden. I'll throw in Serge Ibaka for that D! Divorce!
Warrior
that's not a super team, they were all drafted by OKC...these niggas were so young
I'll remain curious how the newly formed Raptors would have done if Penny Hardaway hadn't left Vince Carter there, perhaps then not getting injured with Orlando. Shaq was breaking the game, making sure traditional bigs would be nerfed by future NBA that dislikes the game being 'physical'.

the warriors drafted 75% of their big four so they didnt sign him
So they had 5 all-stars
How bout the Knicks super team this year ?
Bryce Voelkel bruh
Bryce Voelkel would be a super team in 2011
GOAT
Lmao this even more funny after last off-season
In 2040, we'll have all 20 superstars on the Lakers and Celtics, and the other 28 teams will have absolutely zero chance

The Grizzles blew a 3-0 lead in the 2018 playoffs
Lottery Team
Clash_On_043 no one has yet to blow 3-0 lead in the nba...u might want to recheck that
Mike Korzemba told him to say that
Just a reminder
Grizzlies blew a 3-0 lead in the 2018 playoffs
You should do a video on the worst teams to make the NBA Finals.
Nathaniel Levesque up
Magic 2009
I'd say they only made it cause Boston was injured, but definitely wouldn't put them as one of the worst. They had a dominant Dwight and tons of 3pt shooters, almost exactly like what we see today minus the big men
Nathaniel Levesque 2007 cavs
Nathaniel Levesque iverson took the 76ers by himself
This was a great video man. You brought up some great points on both sides of the "What is a Super Team" argument. Keep up the good work bro
Bruh this vid started out and I thought it was about the Warriors getting cousins lmao
you are one of the only NBA youtubers that still post high quality content. keep it up Dom!
pine apple afunkydiabetic is good
“What if the twin towers add Paul George in the mix?” 😂😂😂 Ah poor, hopeful, unknowing Dom
*Jason Kidd* 16 years in NBA at this moment (2011)
Avg: 12.6p / 6.3r / 8.7a (37/yr 8p / 8a )
*Jason Terry* 11 years in NBA
Avg: 13.9p/ 2.4r/ 4.0a
*Caron Butler* 8 years
Avg: 14.1p / 5.0r/ 2.3a
*Dirk Nowitzki* 12 years in NBA
Avg: 21.8p / 7.8r / 2.5a (23p reg. season / 27.7 p / 8.1r / 2.5a playoffs)
*Tyson Chandler* 9 years in NBA
Avg: 8.7p / 9.4r / 0.8a (almost 10p/10r that year)
*Shawn Marion* 11 years in NBA
Avg: 15.2p / 8.7r / 2a
*J.J. Barea* years in NBA 4 years in NBA
Avg: 8.6p / 2.0r / 3.6a
*Pedja (Peja) Stojakovic* 12 years in NBA (2x 3 point contest winner)
Avg: 17.0p / 4.7r / 1.8a
Let's just add :
DeShawn Stevenson, Corey Brewer, Brendan Haywood, Sasha Pavlovic, Brian Cardinal, Ian Mahinmi and few others . .
My name is Ebron James the warriors took the L
49ers fan For dayz 49ers fan and dislike the warriors? hmmmm
HE LIKE BASKETBALL AND FOOTBALL IDIOT
And your name is Utimate Jazz Fan, cuz u took the L
Another fantastic video, keep up the great work Dom
paul's come back to New Orleans would be insane
and would create another super team for rofls and profits
Would be great if he did that this summer.
Good breakdown. Like your channel and all the content and insight you provide regularly to fans.
"Baring any true freak injuries, this team shouldn't slow down"
Meanwhile:
Zaza used Body Slam
It was Super Effective!
Kevin Durant fainted!
Excellent video sir. Great job with the details u clarified what a super team really is👊
the 2013 lakers wer disappointing
Gustavo Otero they all got injured and when they were kinda healthy they won a lot after the all star break
true
true
Not compared to the Nets tho
Very
love your videos so well made! and efficiently made!
This can also be shown by the fact that the cavs have the highest payroll in the NBA, no other team costs as much.
dude dom is a nba god he knows his stuff and i think he knew kd was going to get injured
So when is case for the GOAT coming back?
Emmett Bravakis yea we been waiting for wilt chamberlain case for goat for like 6 months
wilt not the goat lmao
KD the GOAT scorer #KDCurryBestDuo not but he has a case for goat 🤗
The world's only Dutch nationalist not at all , look at the competition
Great video as always dom!
12:17 Guess who just got a Hyper-Extended Knee Injury!!!
+Javier Rodrigues Right smh
I really liked this video. Prob the best video you have made so far
Dubs were drafted. Only one addition in Kd that's a superstar. Cabs are the superteam.
Nice vid again Dom keep it up
Love these videos Dom2k, but i have a question and I'm sure you've been asked this before, but do you think that LeBron can surpass Jordan to be the GOAT?
Chris Wallace No
fuck no curry is better
What an original question
Chris Wallace If he didn't lose to the Macs and lose 4-1 to the spurs probably would've surpassed him at this point, LeBron would have to go crazy these next few play offs while he still at his best, as the father of time will be knocking on his door soon.
Chris Wallace the fact that your asking the question after LeBron losing 4 finals answers the question. Yes.
Your take on the Pelicans after the Cousins trade was so wrong it's scary
You can't beat the warriors if you're down 1 superstar
great points. I really enjoy all your vids
this nigga said a 73-9 team is NOT a super team
Honestly they weren't. They had one superstar in Curry, one all star in Thompson and one borderline star in Green. All were drafted. Their success was more chemistry than it was an accumulation of talent
Ethiopian Pride exactly, adding KD made them a super team
Nicholas Duch Did u even watch the video?
Harrison Barnes..............
People were saying Draymond should've won DPOY in 2015.
i like you're stats and facts man
what about the 04 pistons they had 4 stars in billups, rip, rasheed and big ben. can't forget about them
jay j none of them were considered superstars tho. That team was a "team" in every sense of the word. In fact it's the only team good of a superstar that has won a title that I can think of.
Dude your vids are lit
Dom2k defending his warriors once more
TheDAWinz he's a Celtic fan
Jorge Anta he rides the warriors harder than he ever does the celtics
He doens't even remotely ride the Warriors.
You sound like a complete moron.
CP3, you just mad salty you won't ever make the WCF again
Great vid man
I just want my pistons to do something besides lose
when i saw Reggie Jackson pull up for tht 3 i turned the game off and i'm now convinced he wants ppl to hate him
Jazz Washington should have just drove to the basket.
Jacob Franklin just search and watch throwback Pistons videos from 2003-2008 to make yourself feel better😂
I do. Better times. Much better times. Lol
ITS been embarassing as hell since 2009
great video dom
Saying the Mavs were a super team is just a dumb way to say LeBron losing wasn't so bsd
Warriors gonna win the next 5 championships 👍
#Factz
Self Made Trillin
nah maybe 2-3 rings in the next 5 years
Lol good joke
Na because they gotta pay steph to stay and if kd declines his option they gotta pay hom too and all their salary cap gonna be jacked up
Self Made Trillin W
Self Made Trillin Less than likely
You're right Dom I did forget that Paul Pierce had a random knee infection in 2010
No one thinks Dallas was a super team
Dom is the most underrated youtuber
Actually both lebron and bosh to heat was not like KD to warriors. Both of them was in a sign and trade in which cavs received 3 1st round and 2 2nd round and a chance of swapping that didn't get executed, raptors received two first and one of them turned out it be their now starting center so it's not like cavs and raps didn't get anything for return unlike thunder just completely gave up KD.
Straight fax keep up the KILLER vids haha
Daily Reminder that James harden is MVP
He also plays terrible defense and turns to ball over too much.
Fuck out of here like Westbrook doesn't
WestCrook
They both do, Kawhi Leonard > Westbrick and Flopden
WestCrook harden has 30 turnovers more than russ
Hell nah. Plus harden is more efficient shooter and passer. He is only 1 rebound shy of averaging a triple double
lakers had a super team with kobe , pau , artest, a Bynum that still wanted to play and lamar in his prime off the bench this team kept 2 50 win Denver squads from making noise in the playoffs back to back while winning the chip back to back , also the spurs are a clear superteam but in the through the draft kind of definition you touched on
Why should we expect Cleveland to be good without LeBron when their entire gameplan revolves around LeBron? That doesn't make them not a superteam. Of course Cleveland would be a playoff team without him if they had a few months to practice and develop a gameplan. They definitely are IMO.
2016 Warriors are debatable. Klay probably isn't good enough to make them qualify.
2017 Warriors are the most talented team in history, and absolutely a superteam. Draymond Green is a superstar. Curry + Durant + Draymond is _by far_ the best big three in NBA history.
Dino Spumoni I wouldn't say NBA history cuz they haven't accomplished much yet. MJ,Pippen, Rodman
Lebron, Wade,Bosh
But I do think in few years they would be up there.
I agree with almost everything, Green not a superstar
Dino Spumoni Huge L
Hey loved the video. I agree with your super team rubric.
There's a such thing as retrospective super teams , for example some of the early 90's teams were LOADED with players that wouldn't become big stars until they were later traded or grew into their roll . Imo TLC was a super team Tim Hardaway , Latrell Spreewell , Chris Mullen , .
Great video
Thank You for this video.
Superteams are teams with 3+ Stars/allstars
Cavs, Heat, Warriors, Celtics.. ect
100k grind out here
well I put it like this: there is a difference between a "Big 3" (or 4) and a "superteam"....in a way every team has a big 3=your 3 best players on the team. But they may not necessarily be a "super team", which is a team of all-stars with monster stats joined together on one team. this could be 2 or more players that are held at that regard..a super team can be put together or develop together
did win a championship in my first year of a fantasy draft sim league with klay as the face of the franchise
Dom predicted the KD Achilles tear
Can't blame them but the Cavs are ridiculous right now
Pause Future Javale McGee is subpar... smh
"To make this short and sweet, Golden State is the fantasy team you make on NBA Association Mode when you're tired of getting slapped by the Hall of Fame Computer." 😂😂😂 LMAAOO
by my definition, the difference between teams like the bulls and superteams is that the players on the bulls weren't superstars in the league when they joined the bulls and they were building a team from scratch. a superteam is (In my opinion) when a team gathers already established superstars (Kevin durant, LeBron James, etc) and goes into the season expecting to get far from day 1
i loved watching boston play detroit in 08.
Dom you sounded a bit sick in this video. Still great video!
great video
I'm just a 2k TH-camr trying to learn from the best
love your vids Dom
Paul George in the Pelicans might be a great idea given what happened in the first round of the Playoffs against the Cavs.
With two Big men with a wide range but who can also defend and attack the rim anytime, PG won't have to worry about losing bc of a guy who tried to hit the game-winning shot but failed.
And of course CP3 in the Spurs
Damn, I remember subscribing to this channel when it was at 12k
The Big 3 in Miami and Ray Allen-Paul Pierce-KG teams were my favorites.
The most iconic super team for me was the 2011-2014 Miami Heat, I have so many memories of their incredible flashy plays, they were like a modern day showtime Lakers. I'm from Florida so all my favorite teams kinda sucked but that heat team made basketball my favorite sport
64-65 Celtics? Had multiple hall of famers including Bill Russel. Or the 70-71 Lakers when they signed Wilt?
nice vid m8
Wade was the Leader of that 2010-2014 Miami Heat team Lebron rode his coat tail to titles down there
Franklin Clinton so where's wade finals MVP from those years
Deangelo Carter It do not matter that Lebron was Finals MVP Lebron had to Followed Wade to win a ring prove he rode his coat tail
Franklin Clinton he went to Miami because he didn't have help in Cleveland because the owner didn't give him any. Also lebron don't need wade to win seeing he won in Cleveland
Deangelo Carter another excuse
Deangelo Carter Lebron went to Miami because he beg wade for his help
that comment about 2k association mode was too true
Great vid
The flirted with Super Team Status a couple of times from 2000-2006
What about Run TMC from tge Warriors? Tim Hardaway, Mitch Richmond and Chris Mullen.
Remember that the Celtics gave up almost their entire roster to acquire KG and Ray Allen.
girl is taking to long to get ready.. it's all good... I got Dom to keep me company
