    Great job and thanks for sharing. I have chosen to add 30AMp shore power in case I pull in RV site and most all offer 30/50amp power source. I have driven it to 70Amp 4-circuit panel with 20amp breakers. I am still unclear why would you need to add 12volts battery since you got the 120volts? I am still working on it, and getting some ideas, maybe add solar panels? I have 7x14 V and definitely like to add table/shelf, cabs similar to what you've done.

    • @terryhatfieldmin
      @terryhatfieldmin  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hey Eli. I added the battery so we could have lights no matter where we were or if the truck was connected to the trailer or not. Would be great to have solar panels if you plan on being away from shore power for a long period of time. Solar is only going to charge batteries though so you'd have to add some amount of batteries and use a converter to generate 120v power.

      Thank you! We are using the battery for the lights. We sometimes ride at night or rides go past dark so need to be able to see and didn't want to run of the truck battery. We don't camp so no real need in our application for a generator but we'll probably get one at some point just in case.

      @@josephnovella7115 I used a power block that I wired directly to the 120v pass thru. The 120v lights, battery charger and power strip on the bench are just plugged into that. I bought mine at Lowes but I don't see it on their web site now. Here's one very similar on Amazon. www.amazon.com/Yellow-Jacket-2177N-Adapter-Outlets/dp/B000HJBE0E/ref=sr_1_87_sspa?crid=21Z2YB0LV0GS&dchild=1&keywords=heavy+duty+power+strip&qid=1597233696&s=electronics&sprefix=jheavy+duty+power%2Celectronics%2C167&sr=1-87-spons&psc=1&spLa=ZW5jcnlwdGVkUXVhbGlmaWVyPUExS0lSSDE5RktFUU1GJmVuY3J5cHRlZElkPUEwMzAxNDQ5MkJOU0tPRU5TQ05CSCZlbmNyeXB0ZWRBZElkPUEwMjE4MzYxMklUMDBQNDFLNlJQUyZ3aWRnZXROYW1lPXNwX210ZiZhY3Rpb249Y2xpY2tSZWRpcmVjdCZkb05vdExvZ0NsaWNrPXRydWU=

      Devyn Hopson It’s coin flooring. I’ll shoot you a link when I get back home in an hour or so. Lots of race trailers use it. Perfect for the application.

      Terry Hatfield Thanks for the fast reply!!! Do you like that rubber flooring more than something like the epoxy with the flakes in it? Do you think it would stay put if we stapled it instead of glued it?

    • @terryhatfieldmin
      @terryhatfieldmin  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@Ben_jamin123 I love the floor but it will have to be glued. I'm not a fan of the epoxy floors in trailers. The coin floor is what is in virtually every race trailer on the planet. That's how we were introduced to it. We've used it in every trailer since and love it.
