It’s official, you’re now “Trailer Ray”
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 this comment ! 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Agreed trailer ray
@@JDMnot what isn't a commercial. Close your eyes they might get you!
@@eriklarson9137 He sure did talk of them highly, but by this logic every time someone says 'I got X from X and it's great" it's a commercial. I also saw ads for dodge, chevy and BMW in this video.
@@eriklarson9137oh it’s a sponsor. Same dude sponsored boosted boys on their trailer I think (or at least same company).
Taylor is the only youtuber to trick me into watching him do anything from building cars, to cutting grass, to buying stuff he already had. 😄
New video next week: “Buying a new truck for my new trailer.”
Or a new bus.
Well, it has to match. Lol
This man bought a 28 foot sold the 28 got a 24ft then traded the 24ft for a bus/hualer THEN bought another 28ft trailer 😂😂😂
His a G
Addiction is a terrible thing
28ft you don't listen.
@@jerrywilcox9890 u get the point … idc if it was a 38ft…… I’ll fix it just for u lol
@@mixedcargarage3781 lol but you don't care but ya fixed it lol.nice try.if ya didn't care ya wouldn't of fixed it.
Seeing some people chirp in the comments but seems like Taylor’s just wheelin and dealin to find what setup works for him.
I guess if you don’t like this content I get it but I love it. Helps me visualize what I want out of a dream shop/hauling set up.
Honestly, I feel like this is a chase for “right tool for the job “. Which is kind of interesting from a channel that prides itself on making the right tool for the job… But I suppose, some things are hidden/obscured when expectation isn’t quite meeting reality.
All I’m saying is, I’m waiting for the final boss where we get a set up with a toterhome and matching trailer lol
It takes trying things to truly learn what works. The ford with the old trailer was a great setup. We ran it for a long time. But I hated having a truck payment and when it failed and we had the first hand experience of that whole process with a newer truck. I decided to get back into something I own outright. We also learned that with a gooseneck. If you break down. You’re kinda screwed because it’s very hard to rent a truck that’ll tow a gooseneck. It’s about evolving and changing from what you learn along the way. I got my old trailer and built it out around my miata and what I would bring to the event with it. Which doesn’t quite equate to the vettes program. Etc etc.
Also most solid toter setups cost more than everything I own combined. Lol
As a truck guy, your fummins is 100% my favorite truck you've been through yet. I get the need for a newer, updated rig but I'd love to see it still get used a bit. Such a cool build
he sold it
I feel like securing , breaking or fixing transportation for your drift cars is like half your content now lol😂😂😅😅
More than half.
Its cuz it gets the views if you ever look at his event content its way lower. As a viewer who likes both it saddens me lol
its great content tho :p
@@Dabagel100 i used to watch so many drifting videos. but it gets stale and very repetitive.
@@Dabagel100 I dont know why but I've always enjoyed infrastructure builds/ updates better.
The short bed crew cab dually is killing me. Looks weird. Ahaha
“Mega cab”
Gotta have the short bed to get the mega cab unfortunately
its normal tbh, people dont want long beds or wheel bases....even 1 ton trucks rarely have much in the bed. 80% of truck drivers could get away with a Subaru Baja or a Hyundai Santa Cruz
@@Shadow0fd3ath24 I know it just looks weird. Ahah.
The new trailer looks awesome mate. It's great to see how far you've come from the early days. Shop looks great, the bus is awesome too. Best videos on TH-cam. Keep up the great work mate
For realz
Thanks man! I’ll try my best! It’s a challenge these days. But I’m enjoying all of it!
Where The bus going??? She staying in the family
Another nice feature about a tonged pulled trailer is you can still use the bed of the truck for stuff and have a camper top to make it water proof if need
I’ve been watching since the corvette days, back when you worked at bc. You’re now buying a brand new trailer, realize it or not. Garage built Co. is really growing! You’re absolutely killing it brother. Keep it up and back to the jibber jabber.
Just goes to show you that all the hard work you put into great content, TH-cam is very rewarding. You guys have so much talent as well. Loving the channel so much & have been here for over 4 years watching your incredible progress. Billy J..... Queensland, Australia.
Thank you! I appreciate the support! It wouldn’t be possible without you!
Taylor, maybe you should get a hold of rights trailer and see if they would be willing to work on your bus , if so tell them all your problems and your plans for the bus and see if they can help you out , might be cheaper and faster for them to work on the bus while you are out running the circuits in the trailer ..
Because is not a gooseneck, this also means you have the whoooole space in your truck's bed for carrying stuff. You can put a lot of tyres in the bed, and even build a nice rack for carrying them out.
This will mostly be for towing behind the bus as he mentioned.
@@run-cnc I think his whole point was to use the trailer (with the truck) for competitions, so that in case the truck breaks down a replacement is easy to find. Then, the bus is for leisure, more casual non-critical events where he stays sleeping in the track. At least that's what I understood!
The bus is the coolest thing. Bet he hitches new trailer to bus to drag two cars to some events
I can see this coming
He doesn't even go to events he just buys transport
He's already mentioned he was doing this...
@@jpa1282wtf you smoking mate 😂.. he's always at events all year long .. what are you on about ?
@@freedomfox8183I think he's remarking on Taylor's bad luck this year. But could have been said in a nicer way 😂
Cant wait for the bus rebuild series, and man that is one sick trailer!
I would highly recommend looking into putting the carpet 3' up the walls at the bottom. It will help keep the trailer looking much nicer over time and add a very nice aesthetic. I would also highly recommend wrapping the outside of the trailer. Even if its a solid color like whats there, it will protect the finish of the aluminum from the UV rays and minor scratches as well as keep it nicer looking for resale value.
Congrats on the new trailer.
Totally understand having both for different events.
Great work guys.
Love to see your channel and driving skill grow.
Check the bolts that hold the ac to the roof.
Intech campers use the same unit and are notorious for being loose.
A little loctite and they are solid for years
👍👍👍nice... I remember when you ended up getting the last gooseneck that you couldn't decide new or pre loved... definitely a great purchase👍
That is THE nicest trailer brand, even over ATC. EZ Hauler is a step down but still a higher end aluminum trailer with the best bang for the buck. But if you want the best Intech is it
Congrats bro! The hard work paying off!! You love to see it!
Taylor! Spend the money and have that new trailer ceramic coated!! Keep it looking brand new for years and make maintenance a breeze!
The King of impulse buying!
The new trailer is pretty epic! It's cool to see that you didn't have to pressure wash it, or consider an instant paint job like you would have with something a little more "pre-loved."
I know that to some people that it doesn't make sense to get a trailer to haul cars when you have a bus that does the same thing. But I am seeing it in a logical sense of using both equipments and a backup plan. As you stated, you got the trailer to be able to still go to events whilst repairing the bus and can still use the combo after you fix the bus. You're thinking logically and realistically.
@@eriklarson9137 Not Einstein smart but I try 😁😁
Congratulations guys 👍 nothing wrong with having options. Keep dreaming big.
Good for you and the team. I can’t wait to see what else is to come.
Couldn't be happier for you man! Congratulations! New trailer is sick.
That truly has to be an amazing feeling. I’m like you said, the “marketplace hunter wheeler dealer” but I imagine the day that I can actually afford to buy a Brand New trailer like that.
Congrats on all your hard work dude it’s paid off .
I've been watching you since the turbo miata and first gen cummins days. It's cool to see you finally get to reward yourself for all of the hard work you've put into your channel and racing program over the years. I've enjoyed it the whole way.
Hell yeah dude! Your reason for switching to a bumper pull is very eye opening, perfect trailer for you to get!
You’re all over the place with these videos man.
It's always fun to watch ya enjoy the results of your hard work man. Love it!
Does nobody remember the part in the OG video on the bus where I said we were going to get another enclosed trailer? 😂 I meant to put it in this video just to prevent the “you can’t make up your mind” comments.
It’s just one of those things. You learn as you go and experience things. Goosenecks for example. I said I would never own a non gooseneck enclosed. But then we broke down with a gooseneck and couldn’t find a truck anywhere to rent that could tow it. Lesson learned.
Also for all the “there’s no drifting anymore comments” well there would be if people would watch the videos. But nobody watches them. So I just go drive and don’t film it. I just film the big events and comps and even then.
Hey brother, pretty sure it was mentioned in the vid. Plus the flexibility of two separate car haulers has obvious positives. Love all the content, don't let the hater jibber jabber get you down. The fans are here for all of it, garage concrete pours to sprinklers and bus, to bmw.
Rock on brother 🤘🤘
@@HerkaDerpa419 it just gets so frustrating when you lay everything out and people just don’t listen. And the fact that if you change your opinion on something people act like you were lying when in reality it’s just learning from experience and changing your outlook.
@@Taylordrifts Certainly understandable, just hope you do what you enjoy. Catering haters can be a quick ticket to burnout
Plus some people cant fathom learning, especially from their own experiences haha so seeing it in real-time must be frustrating 🤣🤣
Yeah you mentioned it previously. People don't pay attention or read very well these days haha. I've been following you for 3-4 years now and it's been pretty impressive to see you grow.
Anyone who has an open mind is going to learn there are different ways of doing things or a better tool for the job for their application. The bumper pull trailer makes perfect sense for you. You don't want to get pigeonholed and find out that you can't get a truck to pull it if you ever had a problem. You made the right move.
People just don't pay attention and can be judgy.
i remember coming across this channel when Taylor had a metal door for a work bench, its inspiring how far he has come, from house sharing with an open trailer and a red mx-5 with a door that didnt open to his own house top of the line trailer+truck combo and the besst looking corvette in drifting
Really nice trailer. Seems like your stepping up your program. Other than your racing, shop upgrades Are my favorite vids. Thank you for entertaining us with very interesting content!
Hes upgrading more than competing 🤷♂️
Much love from Guam/ Washington state! 🍻🇬🇺🇺🇸🤙🏾 hoping to take my mechanic experience learned here in WA back home to the island in the next year! Got the shop built already going to sema in the next 2 week to start looking at equipment
Sounds like it may be time to wrap the truck! 👍
Bless up brother congratulations on the recent accomplishments. 🙏🙏
Nice rig T-Ray although I'm curious if you'll be adding an awning to the new trailer. I could see that it would add more cover when you're working on the Vette at the track. I know you have some serious upgrades coming to the trailer and looking forward to more vids. Cheers!
intech trailers are some of the nicest trailers ive seen . def a good purchase there
Love your videos! Keep it up!
Congrats on the new trailer. I noticed the spare tire is a castle rock. I have several friends that have had them on travel trailers. They've all had blowout issues and ended up pulling them off. Hopefully the tires on the trailer aren't the same.
Congratulations!! That trailer is beautiful.
Congratulations Taylor! Intech makes some of the best trailers on the market. Excellent excellent choice!
I have a gut feeling, the ease of loading with the trailer is going to have the bus used less and less. Really hard to picture that staying around when it is more cumbersome to load up. But I am excited to see what you ultimately do!
I'm getting ready to order myself my first ever brand new trailer in the next few months as well. Going to be used for camping and any utility around the house. Like yourself, it is cheaper or just about the same price to get one customized to your needs and tastes out of the box. And the quality is usually different if you're actually shopping apples to apples and the price difference like you noted, is so minimal.
Nice new trailer. But I am seriously excited for more bus content as a result!
I transport cars commercially and have multiple trailers. Small tip I use in my 2 car enclosed trailer I painted a orange 1 inch stripe on the driver side of the trailer floor from the nose to the end of the ramp parallel with the fender for easy guide to load and unload
Congratulations on the trailer. 🎉
I think to complement the trailer and for track time set-up the trailer needs an awning.
Maybe you could vinyl wrap the truck in some way as to complement the trailer.
So I'm looking forward to seeing more in-depth videos once you start diving into the bus.
Thanks for sharing man ✌️ Peace from Melbourne Australia.
I know your feeling, recently bought a new, top of the line, horse trailer. For years I bought used, what I could afford at the time and got by. It is nice to have exactly what you want and to be a little spoiled at the same time.
Been watching you since you bought your first open trailer and when you bought the old dodge to pull it with lol. Awesome to see how far you and this channel have come. Keep it up man 🤙
Very nice and super light! Badass trailer!
21:35 yeah! Be proud of what you did in only 5 years!
Awesome upgrade with the trailer!!!
T-Rays fleet now consists of three trucks, two trailers and a bus.
Thats a lot of Equipment right there, can't wait to see it get used
RAY,
Looks like what you need is a carport hung off the side of your shop to protect the new trailer.
!
Congrats on being the guy that can buy NEW!!
Full blown trailer ad😂😂 fellas got the hats on and everything.
Can't wait to see the bus and trailer with a Taylor Ray inspired wrap or paint job like the vette maybe. Kudos Taylor. ✌😎
Hope you keep the bus mate 👍 love that thing
I love the excitement when Ray gets a new toy.
Thinking ahead and seeing any could go wrong while hauling your car and having a solution.
The Fummins is looking great!! Nice equipment video!
I'm excited to see you start to really dig into the bus as well 👌 👌 that is a pimp as trailer to man
Absolutely gorgeous!!!
I am a new subscriber and really enjoy your equipment, trailer, garage, etc. content. I don't watch for your race content, I drag race, I do respect your racing and your cars though. I just moved down to Lake County with Orlando Speed World as my home track. Thanks for taking us along.
Congratulations sick race trailer!
I get so excited every single time this guy posts!!!
Woohooo!! I think you need a lean to to keep that beautiful trailer under cover!👏👏👏
Now you will have to get your truck wrapped to match trailer 🤩🙌
“Look at that step, that’s a nice step!” You got me rollin! 🫡
everyone loving on the new trailer and im just loving the ford was in a video briefly.
I can actually relate to what I think the real 'issue' is. When your job or your hobby revolves around working on a vehicle, the last thing you want to do it work on a 'tool'. And that is what your transporter is .. a tool. Time spent working on the bus, or the truck, or an old trailer is time NOT spent working on your race car. When I ran my circle track car, I just wanted to load and go. I hated if I had to work on the truck or trailer.
@@eriklarson9137soon he will get rid of that junky bus and buy better one, than he will get rid of that one too and buy brand new one 👌
Hi from Australia, we're big on trailers too down here. Dont know if you have much experience with bumper pulls. But please be weary of tongue/ball weight as you load and customise your trailer as it will drastically change the characteristics of your tow setup.
Congrats on the new trailer!!
Nice trailer good addition………👍👍👍👍
You should look into slag rock instead of gravel for that trailer pad. Slag is cheaper and it packs down hard like concrete, very little to no dust. I'm glad I went with slag for the driveway
Dude! So awesome!
awesome man the trailer looks really nice
Great content thanks for sharing
With that set up you need a shocker air bag hitch. Makes a world of difference. Reach out to purchase one.
Well now that you have this trailer I'm hella excited to see the Bus get some love
Bus is finished it will be in a couple of bus towing trailer vids then it's gone.
Congratulations on your new trailer
Congratulations brother .
I am ready for the bus build!
It’s those spread axles handles smooths and corners better I have a 34ft camper with spread axles it’s pretty impressive how nice it follows you. Way better than ur typical tandem, nice trailer tho man! That thing is pimp
Congrats
That trailer is sick!
this channel keeps geting better man Taylor am genuinely happy for u man 🤌🏻☕️☕️☕️
With r2 handy, could you fabricate a tyre/wheel rack that you load into the bed of the truck. That way you could mount and load up the rack in the shop and before you leave, fork it into the bed for transport to the events. Get home, unload and have it near the tyre machine ready to be prepped for next time
You need a Reese straight line weight distribution hitch helps you ge weight and sway control tremendously
Hell yeah dude. It would be sick to bring 2 cars with you to an event. Put the miata in the bus and the vett in the trailer, run 2 clases. Or a bmw in the bus so you can leave the whole setup at the track and run I to town. Tons of new options with this setup. Congrats buddy, shits dope!
Sweet new trailer and it was great to see the Fummins up and about.
Looking for some new merch when the Fummins 'give-away' is on.
Nice trailer, congrats
Wrap everything to match the race car with a lot of gray. Congrats on all the upgrades.
From working at BC and sharing a single garage with minimal workshop space in it to this 😮 wooooow
So cool man!
Loven it bro! Congrats man, you work hella hard, definitely well deserved, “Trailer Ray” FTW!🏁😂
Now you can use the truck tray as well. Extra bit of storage
