I don’t think it’s disrespect as much as it is basic economics. The rates will remain low as long as folks accept loads at those rates. Shippers are getting squeezed as well so they are trying to recover margin by posting those rates. Should make a shirt that says “just say no to cheap loads”!

Thank you for the insight. Its in these times where companies struggle however once they overcome it they come out strong. The market has always had its waves, regardless of what any one says it will get better however elections and certain laws have to be reenacted and or completely dismantled which it will happen. Its happened in the past and I have seen it rise above. I am a financial analyst and have watched just about every market have its rise and falls and have tracked them for years. We are in the middle and no matter what anyone says it does get better and many of it is tied back to elections and the decisions these leaders make.

I’m in the process of starting my car hauling business. And the one thing i learned from watching a lot of videos gTH-cam is I do not want to have a truck payment. It’s a lot when you have to make payments on a truck, maintenance, fuel and insurance then on top of that home expenses it’s a bit much. If you can kill one headache pay your truck off.

Struggling too here in CO too many loads paying 45-85 cents a mile. For a 10-20 foot load. Been at about a 1.60 a mile recently over the road. Local contract work is the only thing keeping me in the green

You can buy a shower if you are out there long enough. I drove from Michigan to Easter Washington to buy an antique car. Friday, Saturday out picked up the car at 5 pm. Drove back to exit one in Western Montana. Spent the night, MA MA said I need a shower. We went in and I told the cashier at the fuel island that I'd filled up, 2 tanks. She gave us a BIG shower stall for 5 bucks! MA, MA felt better.

Call any shipping brokerage for shipping price and it will make sense. The middle men stacking..

You can pull the ignition relay also. Big black relay in the fuse/relay box under hood drivers side for ram 2500,3500, not sure if the same for 5500.

If your registered as a Truck then 65ft. If you have the bed removed and register as a tractor then you dont have that restriction

This is all a part of the same load. Same pick, same destination. All on the same bill of lading. However, I’ve seen it happening the other way as well. Just have to stay on the permitted route at all times.
