@hotshoter2 I would 100% buy a 40ft if you can if not rock what you got I've been in it for 7 months now and bought a small semi instead of a 40ft and it has screwed me hard stuck with the 35ft for the time being
Just found you man....loving the content here. I'm turning 52 in feb looking for something else to do. I work in an office all day and getting sick of it. Seriously thinking about getting into this.
Another awesome video Tim ! I know it's a lot of work to get and edit the footage for the longer videos like this one.. But I appreciate it, we all do. Your work ethic is top notch. Man 40ft straps that’s crazy .. Also good to see you with the wifey man and Hope is out there living it up … much blessings Tim … and that’s correct if you want it done the right way call MACC LOGISTICS… 🐐🐐🐐🐐🙏🏻

What’s up how are you doing man? What you been up to? What your new equipment? What is the new truck happy new year to you man have a great new year too. I miss you guys. I love you. Hope I get to meet you and I want to learn everything from y’all when I get my CDL.❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
How’s it going man!! Thanks for tuning back in. I’ve just been working and doing my best to stay focused. We have a ton of events happening this year. Subscribe to our emailing list so you can keep up with everything. We’ll see you soon brotha 🫡💯
Love my trailer bro! I chose it over the 53’ step bc it was way more affordable for the business at the time. We have a great partnership with Happy Trailers so it all made sense.
You must have a vehicle to insure, doesn’t necessarily have to be a truck it’ll work all the same as long as your at the specified coverage limit to be recognized by the fmcsa. You can switch the vehicle whenever you like.
@@HotshotMacc lol it’s all good man appreciate the advice for sure💯 but I did have another question… if some one were to age there authority does that mean after maybe 90 days they’ll be able to work with more brokers and be able to haul more freight?
Wish I could get my cdl but I’m blind in one eye but have 20/20 vision in the other. I’m 20 already have a duramax to haul might try it out non cdl but I heard cdl is the move long term. I did read I can apply for a federal exemption on my vision but I have to do more research
Question I’m just getting into hotshots I’m in Arizona wanted to see how it works with insurance does it vary per load on value of load you are hauling?
Great question! Insurance for hotshot trucking usually doesn't vary per load based on the value of the load. Instead, it's typically a flat rate that covers your truck, trailer, and liability. However, it's important to have adequate cargo insurance that meets the requirements of your clients and brokers. Check with different insurance providers to find the best coverage for your needs. Good luck in Arizona!
Because it’s not one solid piece and each tank is only 2500lbs, 2 straps within the first 10ft is not a problem. Add 1 tie-down for every 10 feet of length. For example, a 20-foot long culvert tube would need to be secured with at least two tie-downs but a 21-foot long culvert tube would need at least three tie-downs.
Been watching, and learning from your channel since the beginning. I believe I’ve already asked this, but I figure I’d ask again once in a while. I have my class A cdl, I don’t have enough to get started yet due to multiple deaths in the family in the past year draining my account. Are you considering allowing someone drive for you under your numbers and learning fast as they go? I can get a note on a F-450, but not a trailer, if you have another trailer, no matter the size, and you run me wherever till I buy my own 40’, would you be willing to take me on and train me for a percentage of the pay? Or even pay me a hourly, or by mileage rate? I’ve been driving F-750 dump trucks for my current job. Just a thought.
Thanks for following along! I'm sorry to hear about your recent losses.Feel free to reach out and let us know where you're located. You can call our office at 832-500-0043, and we can discuss further details.

I was just about to answer but looks like @kmiles2914 answered it. If looking to age it, maybe find an old truck with a low value

This setup requires a CDL.

Saludos amigo. Gracias por seguir el canal. Suerte!
Did you have to get any permits to haul that?
Yes we needed a permit for the hight and width.
Is it profitable to be successful without CDL?
If you have some direct relationships definitely but without them its tough right now
🔥🔥
🙏🏽🫡💯
I owned both. Operating cost is almost the same as semi truck fyi. You limit yourself as to what you can haul. Very limited
To each their own man. Everyones cost its going to be different.
