You seem to come up with pretty much the same shells, but I never tire of seeing the landscape you traverse and the music that is incorporated in all the videos...I am pretty good at naming them these days and, really, I should fly out and go shelling. I have shelled up and down the West Coast, but the funny thing is that I live 100 yds from the shore and there are hardly any shells to be found..,.lol....anyway....thanx again for letting me tag along on this great neptune, dog winkle, and northern moon snail adventure...and go find some hot chocolate!!!...lol...!
LOL! Many people have noticed(and commented), that I seem to pick up the same shells in Maine. There are soo many different types of shells in Maine, but I often find myself on quests to find the more uncommon shells(like Neptunes, and large Whelks). It's a challenge for me and I love sharing the journey! Thanks again for watching in 4K!

Beautiful colors today! What an awesome beach adventure! My best guess on the mystery rock is Picasso stone/Picasso Jasper, a type of marble. Very beautiful!
Many would consider the New England Neptune a prize find for shell collecting in this region. They are quite difficult to find in good condition, but they are often found in lobster traps here and discarded, only to wash up on nearby beaches! 💙 Thanks for watching!
upper right shell looks like pet snail i used to have-Margo Escargo. she had babies and all was well. i fed her romaine as usual and she began to get very sick turns out the romaine had been sprayed with molluskcide and i apparently didnt wash it off well enough. i had no idea romaine was sprayed. i missed her so much. she lived in a little glass tank on my kitchen windowsill.
This is Eastport/Lubec area near Passamaquoddy Bay - slightly west of the Bay of Fundy. Oh yes, this area has some of the greatest differences in tides globally Thanks so much for watching.
