Great video, but have to have a window open. That's no good is it, heat your room and open the window. Great , not.

The requirement is for an openable widow, not an open window, as you state. Why on earth would householders has a fire on for heat yet have to have a window open??? That's what the vent's for.

I guess that your a gas safe engineer?
I suggest you check again, the window Needs to be open or otherwise it would not say openable

We have a flu to our gas fire. But the gas engineer said the smoke is half going up. The rest isn't. Does the flu then need a brush out
