I have found your videos extremely helpful and educational. I've just purchased Gazco 530 gas fire. With the help of your videos I've managed to purchase a quality British fire.
Thanks from Dublin! Trying to decide what to do and your video was really helpful. Too many companies do sell sell sell talk which totally puts me off. I know much more now. Best of luck to you :)
I came across on this video googling if chimney must be FULLY open when using OPEN gas fire. I find that freezing draft cold comes from chimney when I turn fire off and closing the flap. We are wondering if we can open flap only partially instead fully?
Can you tell me these fires at the beginning of the video the rectangular ones that look like built in would they need a chimney liner even in a fairly modern chimney around 30 years old like the gazco 500 fire not sure about the model number
I have crystal denver hole in wall fire. It has a small rectangle thin slit at the rear for emissions to get out, a flue will not connect to it. I have no flue pipe in my chimney. Will it be safe to fit the fire with no pipe.
