I really like those videos! R.O.B is such an interesting character, i wish we would see him more at tournaments. I would love to see a more detailed video about G&W and especially his neutral. He's my main and i think that the variaty of his grab combos makes him really dangerous! My only real problem with him is his neutral game.. (and his weight, haha) His bair works well for spacing and his dash attack is good, but that's pretty much it.

Just a little note from a ROB main: the grappler playstyle isn't completely reliable because ROB has one of the worst grab ranges in the game, including the absolute worst standing grab.

IGC can be done with *any* grounded A move, including jab and all the other smash attacks, it's just easiest for smashes when you have Attack+Special Move to smash attack turned on. That way you also have access to f-smash (and you can shield>JC>up smash out of Gyro too)

While looking into the Instant gyro cancel, I realized that R.O.B's down B can be cancelled into a throw, allowing you to cancel a dash into a standing throw. Just need to figure out if it's better to do that...
Hm... this is a very good video on my main. Although, I feel like 8Bitman could have gone into maybe a bit of detail on the matchups. Even the really bad ones. Like, is there anything the ROB can do to potentially pull a win anyway? Like, is there anything you can even hope to do against Cloud?
i found a tech on corneria in 3ds ( this works best for Greninja ) do a fast fall neutral air on the edge of the fin on the space ship and you will slide an immense distance it's works for everyone but Greninja does it cleany~
Some of the R.O.B stuff that works in Smash 4 still applies to Ultimate R.O.B . I'm still WIP with my R.O.B some of the combos such as Nair to Fair and Nair Uair still works and same goes for the Gyro set ups.
alfanauta R.O.B. is different than diddy tho when it comes to that. R.O.B doesn't have high airspeed or a way to gain momentum like Diddy can easily with monkey flip. even if you try to momentum shift as R.O.B. you wont make alot of movement so it wont be very helpful. Could possibly help in a few situations but that's about it.

Just a notable difference is how R.O.B's Dthrow works now that it does the bury mechanic. It's still fantastic combo and 50/50 situations
8 Bitman needs to Gyro Wave bounce more to land safely... just as Zero does with Diddy

alfanauta Zero doesn't wavebounce, he b-reverses, which is a lot easier. Wavebounce is really difficult to do consistently.
