The great thing in this this video is that you put a lot of known tips together.
Thanks Scott.👌
So glad you enjoyed it. What was your favorite tip?
@@Simpletivity Not a specific one. I already know all of them, but I loved to see the way you put all together in the video.
Good job. 👍
Glad to hear it. Thanks!
Good video. Thank you. I wish Google would enable notifications more than 28 days/4 weeks in advance. Irksome for people with deadlines that span many months or years.
You can kind of work around it by creating a Task, they can be pre scheduled without limit and also show on your calendar
Thanks for sharing this reminder about the notification limit.
Great tip, thanks!
Thank you! I'll try it
Yes
I can't believe it has no dark mode, it's like looking into a light bulb
You can get browser extensions that address that
@@aliasgur3342 I know but it's not app specific
it ban me for the channel?!
good things say i should.
Another great video. Thanks
Glad you enjoyed it!
The notification settings you showed for your device doesn't exist on iphone. I can add or edit notifications but I don't see a setting to allow the settings on the device (and all of the other options that accompanied that choice). How does one do that for iphone?
This may be a limitation on iPhones. Apple likes to 'lock-down' and limit more settings compared to Android.
I am still not getting any pop up notifications :( only the sound notification 10 minutes before an event, but not a pop up notification.
Make sure you allow these notifications from your browser or desktop. When turning this on, you should receive a prompt from your computer shortly after.
I went from a Samsung Galaxy (where I used to use my google calendrer and was able to set my personal notifications so that the SOUND repeated if I did not swipe on the event) to the Google Pixel Pro 8. I cannot figure out how to do the same on this new phone! So frustrating! HELP!!
Unfortunately, Google Calendar doesn't have a native feature to persistently repeat notification sounds until you acknowledge them. But here is a workaround to give you a similar experience:
In your Google Calendar settings, try extending the notification sound duration.
Go to Settings in Google Calendar.
Tap on General.
Select Notifications.
Choose Calendar Notifications or a specific calendar.
Tap on Sound and pick a longer notification tone.
Don't ban people's comments, especially mine lol. It's nice to not.
