Level 6 of Hexblade to get an accursed specter while being a death cleric, high charisma and wisdom, Dex can be entirely dumped thanks to the Gloves of Dexterity To say I'm excited for patch 8 would be a major understatement.
@@remortisgaming Well a death cleric at level 6 ignores necrotic resistance, I'm not sure if the specters would but atleast you would be able to ignore necrotic resistance on all your spells.
@@Mirrorfanboy1912 haha it’s cause I’m focusing on pumping them out. The new computer renders really quickly, and the guides are also slim in terms of item lists and gameplay so I can just go over the level up process and ramble on. I don’t quite like how slim they are but I’m trying to pump these out before the patch gets out! I intend to make a few more advanced/elaborate build vids too, but it depends if I’m burnt out and also other game titles coming out like civ 7 😍
@@snakeman830 I wouldn’t say it most wants that. That’s an icing on the cake type of thing, not necessarily a build maker. It can be effective but you can live without it.
I could see Hexblade/Paladin, Hexblade/Bard (swords). Maybe even Spore Druid/Hexblade. Especially if you use the mods that allow you to go to level 20.
I really wanted the full melee fantesy of hexblade + Path of the blade but the redundancy is so great that it just feels non viable. The fact that we didnt get so many of the HB specifc invocations or eldritch smite feels bad.
@@UncannyPally that’s a good question, cause they do things differently. Bladesinger will be casting way more spells since they have more spell slots, but Hexblade has those sweet spectres that can help keep healing you. They’re similar playstyles but different. @@remortisgamingIt isn't redundant, it gives Non-Hexblade Patron the ability to go melee. A melee Great Old One for instance. I run Minthara as Vengeance Great Old One.

@remortisgaming Eldritch Smite and Spear, Grasp of Hadar, Shroud of Shadow, Chains of Carceri...there are so many. Hexblade the newest candidate for a true and proper Death Knight build? Perhaps with Paladin or Death Cleric? Testing must ensue!

Hexblade looks sick , nearly must have for all charisma builds

Editor did a good job. Thumbs up
So i can potentially make a mini Sorlockadin
I feel like the class feature a Hexblade most wants is Mortal Reminder, which it can't get since it's another Warlock subclass.

How does the extra reaction of duellists prerogative work with this? Does it help at all?

@ they nerfed that on all difficulties from what I heard with other testers in patch 8. I didn’t test it myself to verify but I will.
Tbh the modded versions seem better. This version is missing too many invocations that are vital to the clsss.
