Please Note - Epoxy gel coat and Vinylester/Polyester Uni mould don't technically work together, however if the gel coat is left to cure over night before layup this has worked fine for me.

Hi, I use 3 x 450g Chop strand. And the white resin is glass bubbles (from Easy Composites) mixed with Coupling coat. It just thickens the Coupling coat into a paste.

spreading a layer of epoxy resin and laying the carbon fabric when the resin starts to be tacky could help the fabric to dry, or use a spray adhesive (but this could cause you to finish defects)
the biggest problem remains the formation of pinholes on the surface, without a good use of an autoclave they are inevitable
