Beautiful pitch. Lovely conditions as well. Seemed an incredibly peaceful walk and camp - especially as you said the car park was rammed. Lovely scenes.
Yeah I was surprised how quiet it ended up being, it was a fantastic spot for a camp. I would like to go back in the warmer weather so I can actually sit out for longer and enjoy the views. Thanks for watching and leaving a comment Kev 😀
@@StuartThow it's weird in the winter, it's great having the snowy conditions, but not so great having to get in the tent before 5pm!
Yeah I absolutely love being out in the snow, I tend to just read or listen to podcast but you can't really beat sitting outside your tent with a cold beer!

Thanks 😊 , I was a bit shocked when I opened up the tent as I'm normally greeted by clag 😂 It was a great camp but I need to get my bag lighter, very jealous of your last camp with the super light pack!
@@StuartThow just in the interests of protecting my rapidly ageing body I’ve committed to taking less stuff.
Unless I’m with my dad and we plan on cooking real food, otherwise it’s ultralight.

I have just started watching your videos Stuart and really enjoy their tranquility and your drone footage. I haven’t ventured up to Bleaklow because my navigation skills aren’t quite trusted yet 😅I would be relying on GPS and worry that if in bad weather I couldn’t get signal with little landmarks I’d struggle with finding bearings. I’ll have to get up there on a good day with lots of time 😊 will catch up on your published videos, ATB, from a fellow solo camper in the peaks, Sarah

My wife got them for me at Christmas, but I think she got them from ebay. Although I have also seen them on outdoor gear essentials website 👍🏻

Great quality video shots ! I've just bought the T door version with footprint, yet to try it. The tent looks good in the snow 👍. What's the maximum wind conditions you would use it in ?
Yeah its a fantastic tent for its size and weight and with the 4 season inner is pretty good in the snow. I don't tent to take it out in crazy wind, but its been in maybe 30mph gusts and held up well. I usually pitch it lower to the ground to help stop the wind from getting under it.

Yeah I'm actually tempted to get it in XL as I need another for when one of the kids are with me. Sadly when I originally bought it from Decathlon I was in a bit of a rush and needed one for the next day and they didn't have the XL in stock.
