New Info has been found out by Trex - so likely there will be new full guide for the launch!
Everything in the video is correct but it seems your L Monsters need to be 2nd generation as Wild ones can't be used to turn S monsters into L.
This just means you need to quickly synthesise a wild L Monsters with a Bongo Drongo to create a 2nd Gen L Monster that can be used for synthesis.
Wait so the bongo drongo also has to be a size L then? Or does this second gen rule not apply to S bongo drongos fused with L monsters?
Bless you, Hazmy. For the life of me, I could NOT figure out how to get my own L-size bebe. I want to make a chubby slime team!
Ive only played the First 2 DWM on Gameboy as a kid. Super excited for this game as it brings back really good childhood memories. My brother and i cant wait to get our hands on this game.
Same! I bought a whole ass new switch just to play this game.
@@LordofDaggerfall heh. I'm planning on buying a switch to play this game prolly this weekend.
What monster would you like to have a Large one of?

Very neat that large monsters have more stat resistance. I didn't know that. Can't wait for it to come out in around a couple weeks!
I just scout the Green Dragon repeatedly, he comes as very large, and I breed him to make my other monster large. That's how I have my Large True Dragonlord now.
Thanks for the info! Really enjoying these short guides
Thank you dukey glad to hear that! Make sure to check the pinned comment for new reveals about this - but I am releasing a new video today too for this guide!
Thank you, this video is so useful! I'd been working my butt off to make a large Mad Mollusc and it's good to know what I should have been doing all along! I can make my giant friend dream come true!
Thank you for the kind words! Good luck now!
I have a huge sabrecub. Still "small" but he's close to being a large one. Gonna make it a sabrecat
Do we know already if there will also be XL monsters? Like in the previous Joker games? Ones that take up three slots? I remember really liking that in the (I believe) first Joker game, despite the fact that the party limit was 3 back then, forcing you to fight with only one monster. But man, that one monster wrecked house. Estark, the guy with the two swords, was so freaking epic in that game, being basically kaiju sized! 😍
But either way, the fact that every monster can be L at least, already sounds quite cool, and allows for some fun tag-team parties. 😁
I hope we getting 3 and maybe even 4 Sized Monsters without them it would be a bit sad 🥲
But i still belive it 💪🏻 (and hope it)
I bought the physical copy of the DQMJ 1 and 2 for the DS so hearing this really excites me since micro managing multiple monsters sounds like a hassle. Would rather put my full dedication and love to one monster lol.
Just asking: does someone know if you have the "+1, +2, +3..." bonus when you synthetize the same monster again, just as in DQM1 & 2?
I mean, I've played the other DQM games before and they have it, but I haven't seen it here, that bonus :(
would this work for those monsters that require 4 monsters to be made like gasmon using the bongo drongo method?
Can you make a video recommending either getting the Physical or the Digital version, I want the Physical one but I'm not sure if the bonus items from the digital pre oreder will cime in handy, and also the DLC
I need some more research on that but sure!
can you bring L mons trait to S mons and vice versa through synthesis?
So, will we meet a small size large monsters?
Weird, I have fed my Dessert Demon countless Bongo Drongo and even a large skeleton already, yet my large shroomslime still can’t make it large, why? Would appreciate help, thanks
Check out an update for this procedure : th-cam.com/video/z7HR4yMnPEg/w-d-xo.html
Thats out now?
Witch typs monster have ice, fire
Id love to see a L hunter mech or something hard to synthesis:)
Wait I thought synthesis made a new monster
about how many Dongo baongos would you say it takes to maximize the size of a small monster?
It can be random since it isn't 100% precise but either I got VERY lucky or it only takes 2-3 usually.
Still you want to get a relatively bigger one.
@@HDHaZmY I synthesized at least 6-7 bongos each with draky and a she-slime. It doesn't look like they're getting any bigger.
@Trex10100 Are you sure your Bongo Drongo isn't small then is what I'd check. But it is a random number - so it can take a long and tedious time.
What I would try is to also grow your L Sized Monster to be bigger with a Bongo Drongo - sometimes that worked for me!
@@HDHaZmY I found it. You have to synthesize 2 large monsters then their offspring can make a large monster with a small large monster. I think its only the 2nd generation offsprings can produce large monsters
Is this on PC yet?
Not announced for it yet
@@HDHaZmYShame!
Soo how fun is the game? If your a huge pokemon fan? Have no nostalgia with the series really.
It's a lot of fun if you like monster training!
I was quite angry when I finally got my copy of Dark Prince on xmas after spending almost 20 hours on the demo. Why? Because Square Enix lied about you getting to carry over your monsters and progress. You get exactly the 4 in your party, and nothing above an E-F rank is allowed in the demo. So all the demo grinding to prep for a king slime with extra jargons and maxed talents etc was all for not. BUYER BEWARE! You keep NO TRAITS OR SPELLS of your transferred monsters: just the names and the 4 in your party. I'll never trust Squeenix with a demo again.
